I made sure my kids know how to change a tire, and wipers, jump a battery, and the basics. But one Sunday afternoon, my son was driving through town with his window rolled down and realized it would not go back up. He called us and asked what to do. Knowing how our local O'Reilly treats customers and takes care of them, we helped him find the closest O'Reilly to his location. A bit of googling lead us to believe it was just a blown fuse. He went into the Oak Street O'Reilly and asked for help. He didn't ask or expect anyone to do it FOR him, just point him in the direction of fuses. He had a photo on his phone of what fuse number controls the window motor of his make and model car and the man just absolutely refused to help him, refused to hear him out, and was extremely rude. He wandered around the store looking for fuses and felt frustrated and called us back. Conway was expecting many inches of rain over the next few days, so he was worried. I quickly found him another auto parts store down the street and he went there and got the help he needed and treatment (i.e. good customer service) we would also expect from O'Reilly. When it turned out that the problem wasn't a fuse, the man still helped him figure out what to do until Monday morning when a repair shop was open.

The salesman later explained that he just followed his computer and didn't know any better than to charge over 12 times the standard price for the clamps. Went to get an alignment and rotation since I do a lot of driving for work. Went to pick it up…read moreafter two hours and the wheel was not aligned and the truck was grinding when going straight. Called the store back to tell them something was wrong for them to tell me to bring it back. They assessed it again and determined something was not right. They took it back and after 3 more hours they called me to tell me they could not get it to hold and alignment. After arguing with them that my vehicle was perfectly fine when I took it in. I was then asked why I brought it in if it was fine. Where I was then laughed at for telling them you are supposed to align every so many miles. The "manager" who was the one who laughed then said you only get them done when they are out of align. They keep insisting it is my fault my vehicle is now broken and they can't fix it becuase they don't do that work.

Three times in a row now we've gone in for tire service and had either cross threaded lugs or…read morebroken studs. I'm not sure what ape they have back there cranking down the lugs to 400psi or what Nascar pitboy wanna-be who doesn't know how to start the lug with his hand, but they clearly don't care. Sure they'll pay to have it fixed, but Id rather not have to spend 1-3 days having work done on a vehicle every time I go in with a flat or rotation. Unprofessional, untrained. A copy paste reply isn't going to help, you had more than 3 chances to get the issue straightened out with your employees and management. I will not be back regardless. This is a bad business.
