THANK GOD I didn't have any of my 4 young children in the car or I wasn't on the freeway where we could have gotten hurt or hurt others. We got our car towed to Engine and Transmission Exhange who said our oil was BONE DRY and our engine is ruined. It would cost us $11,000 to repair. Also, during the oil change on 8/29 the tech could not find where to put the dipstick back and dropped it into the engine compartment then after finding it just quickly shoved it back somewhere and moved on. We filed a claim with valvolines and Shawn the manager was rude and TERRIBLE with communication and his customer service. He denied the claim which is very obviously due to their negligence. We are now proceeding with legal action.

As he was leaving he saw me stranded and tried to help me get started, but I realized I actually needed a new starter motor. Today, Erich and his opening crew helped me push it from next door into a repair bay, confirmed Ted's diagnosis, ordered a new starter, installed the new starter, and had me back on the road in two and a half hours AS A WALK IN WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT! I find that to be truly AMAZING in a world where few people are concerned about their customer service. THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST!!! I dropped my car off at 10am and it was ready by 3pm. I was also told my part has a 1 year year warranty which is reassuring. My car is now extremely quiet and my problem is entirely solved. I feel the total price tag of parts, labor, etc was reasonable. Lastly but most importantly, the staff were very professional and helpful. I was helped by Percy and Eric, both gave excellent customer service. I want to emphasize they were very kind and I felt they had extensive knowledge of their jobs. I am very glad I chose Midas for my car repair and intend on returning in the future for any needed repairs or maintenance. I highly recommend Midas for any car repairs or check ups.

I didn't have any auto repair work done and my average review is biased on talking with Bruce and chuck to get a feel of the business. The place is nice and clean for a repair shop that is not a fancy dealership. There is some hands on displays to better understand how components on your vehicle work. The customer area has lots of visuals on how vehicle systems work to educate people. Overall I had a good feeling after visiting the shop and will file it in the back of my mind as an option for future options. It never hurts to just explore options even if you are not buying anything at the moment. If they treat you good while not spending a dime with them you probably will be treated good when doing business with them.
