I don't understand why this place gets bad reviews. It's a tire and general vehicle maintenance shop. Customer service is satisfactory for such. They have great pricing and always can fit me in on short notice. We have taken three different vehicles here. Sure the guys at the front desk can be short. If you want the full customer service experience go pay 50-100% more at a dealership. My only negative remark is sometimes it takes them a bit longer than stated for repairs. I try to drop our stuff off early in the day and pick it up end of day to avoid problems. read more

I need to start this by expressing that up until about a year ago, I had only serviced my vehicles at the Madison dealerships they were bought at. I was willing to make that drive because I was seriously that nervous to have anyone else touch my cars. I had an issue where I was too fearful to drive to Madison for a repair. I stopped at F&F to see if this was a repair they could do. Aside from the price being about half what the dealership charges, I felt genuinely appreciated and that I was being taken care of by someone who sincerely cares about their customers safety. Since that day, I only go to this F&F location, for EVERYTHING both on my Mercedes and my Hummer. The manager Ryan exceeds my expectations on a regular basis and after being an F&F customer for about a year now, I can say I really have no reason to go anywhere else. read more

I called F&F to make an appointment for an alignment and they were able to get me in within a day. I went in for my appointment and appreciated that the waiting area had plenty of chairs, a TV and some beverages available. There was also an empty vending machine and really cold air blowing (I was freezing!). No free wifi. As I waited, I noticed a few things going on around me. First was that they didn't get my vehicle in right away, even though I had an appointment which was a little bit disappointing. And then the thing that really irked me is what happened at the end of my visit. A mechanic brought my keys to the customer service counter and set them down. The employee at the customer service counter was in a casual conversation with someone who stopped in the store. I waited to be called up to pay for the alignment and be on my way... and I waited... and waited. After about 10 minutes of watching this conversation, I finally went up to the counter and still was not acknowledged. Finally I interrupted and asked the mechanic if my vehicle was ready. He shrugged and looked at the employee at the counter who was still chatting. After another couple of minutes the employee finally looked to me and started pulling up my bill on the computer. I see what others are saying about the customer service. It was fine when I arrived, but I didn't appreciate waiting so long for a conversation (with someone who was not a customer - I was the only customer in the place) to finish before I could leave. I don't think I'll be back. Plenty of places do alignments, and the price was very reasonable, but I'd rather pay a little more for better service. read more

I came to this F&F due to a blown out tire that my brother experienced on the highway on the way to Miller Park for a game. I was able to call them, give them the information on the type of car and tire, and they told me right away whether they had the tire in stock. They did. We were also able to make an immediate appointment. When we got there, the problem was actually a busted strut spring that had torn open the tire, and we needed a whole new strut suspension in the front axel of the car. This, while not cheap, was immediate, as they were able to get the part from nearby and the whole thing -- new struts and new tire -- was done in a total of 2 hours. I was surprised by the number of women who worked the counter, which was nice for me because usually I feel a bit patronized by men who run automotive-related facilities. They even let me use their internet on their front desk computer to send a cancellation email to someone I was supposed to meet later. The lobby had water cooler, vending, a big screen TV with extensive channels of TWC on it, and comfortable couches. The bathroom was clean as well. Overall, a good experience. Everyone was friendly and the whole thing went very smoothly. read more

I'll preface this with the reason I went here: emissions testing. No one wants to do it, on either side, but it has to be done. I emailed this location to find out when they did emissions testing and received word that it was 12-5 on weekdays. Cool, see you Thursday. I walk in at about 1:35 today and say I am here for emissions testing. This was the Co versation: "We're not doing that right now." "No?" "Nope, the guy isn't here." "He isn't here? I emailed a couple of days ago to see when you did it." "He's not here." "Will he be back later?" "He's out to lunch so he'll be back in an hour." "Okay, I guess I'll come back." Nothing in the way of customer service. No, hey sorry he missed you he just stepped out but if you come back we would be happy to help. Nothing. Either just a really bad day or an a-hole. There's another F&F Tire World 5 minutes away on Bluemound. Go there, they were nice and helped me immediately. read more

Shady & dishonest: I went for my (FREE) emission test and was asked if I wanted to pay for the registration stickers at the store instead of mailing the papers in. I asked if there was a fee, and he said no, it would be the same price as what the Department of Registration charges. I said OK, as long as there is no extra charge or fee. He took my credit card with him (which I thought was strange) and then got in my car which was parked in front, and drove it to the back testing area. I was not comfortable with any of this. When he returned with the papers and my card he stapled everything together and gave me the stickers. There was a $20 charge for the service on the paperwork that I did not see until I was home. Partly my fault for not looking while at the shop, but I still don't like that it was misleading and dishonest. My husband has had similar experiences with this location and we will not go back. I would advise not going here if you are looking for an honest place. read more

Troy and the guys went the extra mile and I'm now a happy customer. I bought 4 michelins and took my first highway speed drive to southern IL. At all speeds my truck shook and shuttered. I took it to the local Honda dealer and they said all the tires were bad...out of round and wobbled. I called Troy immediately and he took care of ordering 4 new tires. When I returned to WI, Troy replaced all my tires and took care of the painful warranty process. My truck now rides smooth as silk. Great service and solution to my problem. Thanks guys! read more

I received terrible customer service here. I came in with a front tire issue. I called ahead and the man told me if I could be there in the next few minutes he would look at it. I drove all the way over on a car I probably shouldn't have been driving. He took my keys. I reminded him to be carful because the underside is rusted and he cut me off, not even looking at me and continuing his paperwork, "Yeah. My guys know what to do". Okay. 5 minutes later he's telling me I'll need to leave it here if he's going to look at it which is the opposite of what he told me on the phone. I told him again I couldn't leave it since I'm not from Brookfield. He then told me he wasn't going to waste his time looking at it if I wasn't going to leave it. We still didn't even know what was wrong. His tone was very aggressive and I didn't appreciate it. I ran out and caught the mechanic backing in my car and left. I have been a loyal customer to f&f for about 5 years now. (I even drive from the east side just to get an oil change) Just recently I have solidified my loyalty because they went above and beyond with their customer service. Two years ago, someone hit my parked car, and created $1000 in damages. Sadly I didn't get the work done from them the first time. Recently, just from going to a routine oil change, they were able to find problems with my car that were looked over two years ago in the initial claims inspection. In addition, they helped me argue my case, and the repairs were eventually covered by my insurance company. After 2 years of driving around with a car that "just didn't feel right still" I am happy to say f&f fixed it. Love them. read more

I bought 4 tires and the warranty for the tires with free rotation - I had trouble with one of the tires losing air after about 3000 miles and took it back and they charged me $35 to replace the tire despite the fact it was covered by the warranty. what a rip off - why charge me $100 for a tire warranty then rip me off when I actually have an issue. I spent over a $1000 for four top quality tires and have never been happy with the tires or F&F's service. The F&F crew has installed my rims for me hassel free, replaced a tail light bulb without charge, and helped me out after a mishap oil change without asking for a cent. This is my favorite auto shop not only because of their friendliness and honesty but also because of the integrity they have. Getting taken advantage of by shops is a big fear of mine, not being very knowledgable about cars. However, the F&F crew makes you feel welcome and answers any questions or concerns you might have. It feels fitting to say that F&F has a 'ma and pa shop' sort of vibe. They go the extra mile to get to know you and to remember you. They will always be my go to shop. They may be able to inventory a tire and possibly mount it but outside of that save your money and go somewhere else. The service is terrible and you'll regret it when you have to take it in again and again to repair the same problem. When I first got my tires at the F&F in West Allis I drove off and had the steering wheel shaking. When I returned they said their balancing machine was out of calibration and that I would need to go to another F&F. Soon after I had them replace my shocks and struts. After that visit, every time I would turn right, there was a terrible squeak coming from the front end. When I returned they told me it was a bad bushing. Taking it to a dealer determined that the shock is hitting the fender. After that the front wheel bearing had issues and they determined that I also needed front brakes. They proceeded to replaced the front brakes and I drove 30 miles afterwards with the front right brake locked up on the rotor. Taking it back they realized the calipers were bad and needed to be replaced. Two months later the front right caliper is froze over the rotor. It took a few thousand dollars to realize that these guys don't know what they are doing. My recommendation is to stay away from F&F Tire World altogether. They will also tell you it will take an hour to perform a repair but you'll sit there for two or three. I have visited F&F Tire World on Moorland Rd, in West Allis, and near Southridge. By far the worst one is across from Brookfield Square on Moorland Road. read more

I've been bringing my car to F&F Tire in Brookfield, near where I work, for years. The guys there are very friendly and I've always been pleased with their work. I recently brought my wife's car in for an oil change, but on the subsequent oil change at another shop I was informed that my aluminum oil pan was stripped, likely due to the steel drain screw being over tightened. (This is more common than one might think). Anyway, they told me the fix was to replace the oil pan. I said I'd prefer to take it back to F&F Tire to get their opinion, but they told me the car wasn't safe to drive since the oil drain screw was loose and would leak oil and F&F Tire was not close by. I had the shop replace the oil pan, but I asked them to save it, so I could bring it to F&F Tire for inspection. The next day I brought the damaged oil pan, the receipt for the repair, and the receipt from my last oil change at F&F Tire to F&F Tire. I explained the whole thing to Wyatt. I was relieved to find that he did not become defensive, but instead took my concern to heart. He listened to the whole story and examined the oil pan. He showed true character, professionalism, and integrity and stood by me, the customer. Thanks to his help F&F Tire reimbursed me for the entire repair! The reality is we all occasionally make mistakes no matter how good you are. Their work had been outstanding up to this incident. How you handle mistakes shows your true character. Wyatt and F&F Tire are TRUE PROFESSIONALS!! This experience has left me even more confident in F&F Tire's ethincs, integrity, and professionalism. They are a great shop.
