But this is my story…read more Traveling from Virginia to Michigan and just outside Columbus Ohio I picked up a piece of metal in my right rear tire. ,,, I limped to a nearby fast food restaurant parking lot. I pulled out the "donut" spare and changed the tire. Can't drive all the to Michigan on the donut. So, I called tire places. First 3 no answer. Fourth place "Steve" answered. I explained my circumstances, he said come on over. I did. I'll just say "don't judge a book by it cover". His shop is pretty gnarly looking. He and his worked were nice as pie and as luck had it they had a tire, used but good my size . In matter of minutes he had that tire on the rim and on the truck. I paid him "70 bucks" for everything and was on my way. Total lost travel time only 2 hours (I was happy with that) thanks to Steve and his gnarly shop. Don't be put off, if you need a tire check out Steve's.

They got me right in as I had ordered tires on their website. Dwayne helped me when I walked in. I inquired about an alignment since I was there. He told me my car didn't need one just yet which I thought was awesome because tire shops or mechanics I've previously been to just added it to the job without advising me on whether or not it was truly needed. Best part: they have free air, balancing, rotation and fixing of flats for the life of the tires. I didn't have a choice, having things I had to get done. I literally had to buy another tire, to replace the one THEY sold me and installed that didn't last 8000 miles. When I took it to a real repair shop, they said something internal was broken and that a cover had been put over it to hide the damage. Disgusting. NEVER go here. Not if it's convenient, not if it's cheaper than another place. It's just a big, gross scam.

Manager Glen was immediately rude and resistant to processing my valid Fidelity Warranty service plan -- I had to call Fidelity and hold my phone over the counter on speakerphone just to get him to do his job. 33 days later my engine was destroyed. The authorized Subaru dealership formally documented in writing that the oil level was incorrect following Mr. Tire's service and caused catastrophic engine failure -- $8,952.09 in damages. I filed a claim with their insurer Travelers Insurance. Denied. I have filed complaints with the Ohio Department of Insurance, the Ohio Attorney General, and Subaru Corporate. I am pursuing this in Franklin County court. I am a server. This set me back years. Glen didn't want to do his job that day and I'm paying for it. Other customers -- check your oil level immediately after any service here.
