Diehard warranty states any authorized Diehard dealer can honor the warranty with proof of purchase, no matter where the battery was purchased. I took the bad battery to Advance at Heath, Ohio and exchanged the bad battery for a new battery in the matter of a few minutes.

To…read morestart, the business had refused to provide an estimate for the work until after the car had been taken apart, and then the would perform the service, only then to present the bill. The owner of the business said this is how it was done. After a half dozen calls I was able to get a rough cost, and then allowed them to do the work. This service ran $246.68 When I had my car returned the electric system then started to short out just two weeks later. This was due to a newly shorted fuse damaged in the prior repair work. I therefore took my car back in to have the issue resolved, and the business then charged me an additional $37.54 for work regarding something damaged in a previous service. When my vehicle was returned to me I now found they had broken the key off in the ignition. I spoke with the owner, who said they see about fixing it, but it would take more than a week to have the parts in for a new cylinder. Two weeks later, mid-April, I took my vehicle in, and was now told it would be more than $100 to repair this. This was unacceptable as they were the ones that damaged it. IO explained that since the damage was done through their efforts while the care was under their supervision they needed to cover the cost of the repair. The assistant at the shop started cursing at us, as well as the bookkeeper. She started spouting off insulting and vulgar comments asking, "If a car catches fire in our lot you expect us to replace the vehicle? That's crazy."
