DO NOT GO HERE! I had a screw in my tire - the guy said my tire was under warranty but the tire was discontinued. It wasn't possible to patch my tire. New tire was going to cost me $273!! I went to Firestone and they put it up on the rack and the screw didn't go all the way thru and didn't even require a patch!!!! I will no longer take my cars to Boyds for anything! They have gone down hill since the new management came in. read more

Scheduled an appointment. Upon arriving for appointment, manager said they could not service vehicle for multiple days. Even with a confirmed appointment, I was unable to receive any services. Management did not seem to care. Will 100% avoid in the future. read more

I've been coming up to Boyd's or SunAuto for a couple months, as I've been there I've seen a lot of unprofessional things going on. I will list a few. Clint, is allowed to pick and choose what work he WANTS to do as if it's not his job to do them; Along with he leaves at 5pm no matter if he's working on a car so he leaves his work for someone else. Logan, has almost drove a car off the alignment rack and they still allowed him to work without suspending him. Hannah, bosses everyone around and the manager Mark has told someone "if you can't work with Hannah you can't work here." She also messed up a head gasket and still is working there. Along with her dating Logan which is making him getting an advantage working there. Mark, he allows all of these unprofessional activities and he's the manager. The job has alot of favoritism which isn't good for any type of job. LJ is a fantastic worker and is very professional. The next time you think about coming here think do you want these type of things to be allowed where your cars going. I advise new management and workers for this business to thrive. read more

Boyd's in Westerville off Shrock Road tire repair and auto service near the big Walmart couldn't have been happier. I had a slow leak in my tire they found the leak showed me the screw that caused the problem. Didn't try to sell me a new tire or any other AUTO products they're great. Flatbed tow truck towed me to Boyd's and they ended up selling me 4 new tires and provided the best customer service you can get. I definitely recommend them. They were great and very professional. I was packing up my car for a cross country relocation the next morning when I noticed a completely flat tire. A screw had made its way into the side of the tire-- not patchable. I had recently gotten (super reasonably priced) new tires, so this is a huge bummer in addition to a giant stressor with the upcoming move. I called Boyd's and explained my situation, and was treated so kindly. They told me they'd get it taken care of for me same day. Because of them, I don't have to push my trip back! I have gotten tires from this location in the past, and I know I can trust them. The work is quality, the prices are good, and the service is excellent! This is the best customer service one can get at any auto repair center . Todd , Tommy , and Anthony are normally the ones working when I take my car in . They have always been honest and told me what I can look to budget for in the future . I did a lift kit on my Jeep Grand Cherokee , and they helped me pick out custom rims , over-sized tires , and the proper lift kit . They did a great job and the price was amazing . I get compliments everyday on their work , and how they helped pick out what would look best . I've been going here for over 15 years and will continue to give my business to Boyds Goodyear . The people here, especially the owner, is incredibly rude. He acts like he is bothered that you dared bring your car to him to be serviced. They treat women incredibly bad as though they are stupid and know nothing about cars. They ask "what's wrong" and that's it. No probing to see if there might be other problems. And then the owner proceeds to lecture you on proper care of your vehicle, rather rudely. If we all cared for our vehicles properly, you wouldn't be in business. read more

I have had 2 recent flat tires. First one I called a different shop and they couldn't get me in until next day. Called Boyd's and they said "come on in!" and they looked and said was unrepairable. They replaced it within 2 hours. Had another one today and called them first... samething... "come on in!" was able to be plugged and was out in under 30 minutes and under $30.00. Super nice, quick, trustworthy and very clean facility. Highly recommend. read more

Called Anthony late on a Thursday because truck was making a terrible noise when braking. He was booked until Friday at 5pm. I explained to him we were planning to leave at 12pm Friday for a volleyball tournament in St. Louis. He rearranged things and got me in. Called me by 10am the next day and it was fixed! And there was no charge!! Something got lodged in the front tire and they took care of it. That's a great way to take care of your customers and keep business for years. Very dishonest shop. Manager and technician on duty at the time need to be looked at closely by management. I had a coolant leak that I found on the passenger side. I knew it was coolant because I put down a napkin and saw the pink color. It also had a sweet smell. I then went to the resavoir that holds the fluid and confirmed that was the substance. I had my wife bring it to Boyd's and she was told there was no leak where I had described. I came to meet her as they were completing an oil change and I explained what I had found. The technician heard me speak to the manager and then I had an odd feeling as they started whispering and the technician left...then the manager left for a moment and came back and said "you know what, there was a leak and we can't get to it because it's under a shield they put on the Navigator. He said they needed to wait until tomorrow to give me an estimate because the lead tech is out that evening. Later that evening I get a call from the manager telling me they found the leak. I asked how he saw the leak and he said they used a pry bar to pull the shield away. He said it is going to be a ton of labor because they have to remove the shield. He told me it would be pushing $1,500.00. I drove back with my wife and reviewed the estimate. The estimate was just over $1,200.00 and he told me that I need to add another $200.00 for shop costs that isn't on the sheet. I asked why it wasn't on there and received no real explanation other than "well it might only be around $130.00." According to them and the pry bar test....I needed new lines that run to the rear AC and they claimed parts can only come from the dealer. I left to do my own research and found the parts for around 70% less than that quoted. This wasn't even the big part of the estimate as labor was over $900.00. I ended up speaking to another car buff and he told me to go to Harris Automotive. I took the vehicle in and didn't say anything about my experience. They came back with a quote of replacing the heater hoses and is was around $350 total. I then asked how they found the leak and he said the hooked it up and the pressurized system was fine. They then looked at and found the heater hoses had cracked and the coolant was running down the side onto the ground. Unbelievable. My gut told me there was something shady going on. I still see that slimy tech with black hair speaking to the manager.... Shady. They thought they found my leak alright... they thought I didn't even have a leak and i think this entire estimate was a scam. They knew I was adamant about a leak so they "found" the problem. Horrible experience from an untrustworthy manager and technician. They represent this business. Steer clear. read more
