The tire was patched and replaced. Ok, good My issue is that there seemed to be total disregard for my vehicle. When I got back in to leave, the steering wheel was absolutely filthy, caked with dirt. Yes, auto mechanics hands get dirty, but I've never seen anything like that. The compartment in the back of my vehicle where the tire tools are stored was left completely open, the lid kind of thrown into the back of my car instead of just putting the lid on. Then the cover for the hole where the tool is inserted to lower the spare was missing. I went back in and they did eventually find it after about 10 minutes of looking. I am glad the tire was fixed but just seems like they should be more careful with the vehicle.

They would go to dobbs or another chain because it's well known but I saw this place had a 5 star rating and I was like okay let's give it a go. I did my research for the type of tires I should get. Earlier this winter I was sliding over ice and was convinced I needed to get an SUV until everyone around me said no I just need new tires lol So I found all weather tires and even opted for something highly rated that's more expensive but popular because it gave me peace of mind to know they were a solid choice. The men who I interacted with were so nice and educated me. I made an appt online and then they called me because they could get me in earlier (which I was so grateful for!!) I did have a prior appt and they said I could swing by whenever and they would finish before close so I could come by to pick it up. Knock on wood it's been great so far! Should be good for the next 6 years. I'll probably have a new car by then but hoping I won't have any trouble! I did opt for the warranty so shouldn't be any $$ with their no questions asked policy so again, great peace of mind.

So they shipped,same day to Lake STL, and was cheaper than anywhere else. I came back 3 hours later and they installed the 4 tires in about 30 minutes. They cleaned/shined the tires. Ran an alignment test. -I did not need an alignment. -My old place always charged me. Place is really clean and friendly. Aiden, my sales guy, was awesome!! Super friendly and found me discounts. I'll be back with my other vehicles! Freddy's is next door. You can eat ice cream and watch them install your tires in 30 minutes. It's perfect!

On June 3rd I brought in my car for the A/C not working and could never get the store manager to give me a quote -- the car also needs new struts. After 3 weeks of waiting, 5 calls by me with no return call and 2 visits to the store, the store manager (Brian) would never call back or have the courtesy to give me any details. The only response from other technicians at the store is that they are short staffed. Unfortunately a 20 year relationship is now over thanks to such poor customer service. I told the young man that my tire was leaking based on the alert on my dashboard. He offered me a seat and went about checking the tires. He said they would find the problem and let me know. A little later he advised that my tire had a metal shard in it and they were able to fix it. I asked the cost and he said, "No charge." If they are able to fix the tire, they don't charge; they only ask that you patronize them the next time you need tires. The manager was behind the counter doing something, and the only other employee, Nick, was literally asleep on the counter until the door sound woke him up. I asked about a new battery and if they did installs. He said "yea maybe." Once he heard it was a Mazda, he came outside, looked at the battery, and told me "well, it's kinda dark." It was not dark. When I questioned it, he changed to "well, it's kinda cold," even though it was nowhere near cold enough to justify refusing an install. At that point I was done. If someone is sleeping on the counter and looking for excuses not to help, I am not trusting them under my hood. Went straight to Advance Auto instead, and they installed the battery with no issue. Friendly team, quick service, no nonsense. I will never buy anything from this AutoZone again. Letting an employee sleep on the desk and brush off customers is unacceptable.
