I tried to use a Groupon here and was sent on a wild goose chase between three different locations. First, one location scheduled me, then called back to say they don't actually do alignments. The next told me to come in person to pay, but when I showed up, no one greeted me even though they clearly saw me standing in the lobby. A tech finally yelled at me as I left, which was the final red flag. I tried one last time to call another location, and someone told me Stephanie would help me only to then claim Stephanie hadn't worked there in five months. The guy I ended up talking to said I didn't have an appointment, then called the next day to cancel the appointment I didn't even have. Totally disorganized and a huge waste of time. Female at desk proceeded to say they can't do it today, and repeatedly told me it was a call center I spoke with and they couldn't help, despite the fact I had confirmation text and email. As if I didn't already like this place, they pulled through for me again! A few weeks ago, one of my tire sensors stopped working (I didn't know this, I thought my tire was going flat), and the instant it happened, my car let me know (making me freak out, and pull off the freeway in the process). After finding out my tire wasn't flat, I called Autotire right away to see if they could not only 1) Diagnose and fix the issue, 2) Get me in that day, and 3) Since I'm there already, do a quick oil change. They were able to do all three! I rolled in after work, they were able to find out what the issue was, order the part and pick it up, fix it, give me an oil change & tire rotation - all in a matter of under 2 hours. Tried to order tires to be installed. Went through the website, ordered 3, set an appointment. Site showed appointments all day, picked something late since I wasn't in a hurry. Happy to drop it off, pick it up the next day. Got a call to confirm. Was told they didn't have 3 tires, only 2. And if I wanted a third, they would have to order it and charge me for shipping. But they had a different tire that was more expensive they'd be happy to sell me. Since I only *really* needed one tire replaced (the others were worn, but still fine), I said I'd just replace that one and do the others when the tires were in stock. They told me that they woudn't do just one, I'd have to do all three. Oh, and they were busy and probably wouldn't get to it any time today, even though there were appointments available. So even though I ordered the tires on their website, they would only install them if I paid shipping to get them the tire that they didn't actually have, or use more expensive tires, and they wouldn't do less than three of them. Had front and rear brakes and rotors replaced in April and 3 months later started hearing clicking noises and shaking steering wheel when braking. I took the car in to see if they could take a look to see what's going on. Come to find out they are under new management and are "dealing with a lot of problems from previous management" and was told "(previous manager) was more interested in doing the job quickly than safely." Unbelievable. They test drove my car and didn't hear any noises , which I find really hard to believe. They then told me I had a nail in my tire ($50 charge) and the noises (which they didn't hear) was the sway bar that needed replaced. While I suppose that's possible, there is no way I would ever have this company do any more work on my car. I'll be taking our business to another mechanic because confidence/trust level in this Tire Choice location is absolute zero. read more

WTF? I have no idea what happened to them, they used to be my go-to place. The last 2 consecutive weeks I have scheduled appts and brought my car in for a wheel alignment. My car has still not been aligned. I went in last Saturday, on time, and was told that someone called off and they only had 1 mechanic and it would be a while until they could start on my car. The attendant said the person just called in, and that's why they didn't call me. He did apologize, at least. This weekend, got there, on time, and the apparatus they use to raise the cars was broken and they were down to only 1. I asked for a time estimate, he said an hour to hour and a half, and that I'd be waiting. He said they were working on the lift and would start on my car as soon as possible. Luckily, my parents were nearby and I went and hung out for an hour and a half. Gave them my number. Called them back, and they hadn't even started on my car... after almost 2 hours. I had already told them when I left I could not leave my car all day. He asked again, and I explained that this is the second week I've brought my car to them to have this alignment done. He asked if I wanted to leave my car all day, I said, no, I will come and get it because I can't wait another 2 hours to find out repairs haven't been started. He did apologize, but didn't offer anything considering all they have been inconveniencing me lately. I drive out to Kirkwood because this is my go-to place, and I have wasted gas and time for 2 weeks in a row, waking up early trying to get these repairs out of the way. I will have to find a new place for repairs I guess. read more

We can't say enough good things about this place, I don't know what the complaints are about. This review is long over due, as we got our tires done a month ago. We needed new tires on our BMW after driving here from California. We called Bavarian auto and the guy was simply clueless and tried to sell us something we didn't need. (We do our own automobile work, so we're not clueless) We also went to Dobbs tire on Dunn in Florrissant, and the guy basically scared my partner into almost buying 4 new tires because he said they can't just replace 2 without us signing liability waivers and said our front driver was about to explode. We came to Autotire and talked to the manager. The reviews were great (on Google anyway, nearly 5 stars out of 150+ reviews so I dont know what's up with Yelp!) and the manager seemed very trustworthy. It turned out we had a slipped band on the tire, no biggie and could replace just it or the front two if we wanted (recommended since we have run flats). This place price matches with any quote you bring in locally and also matches tirerack.com. they beat the price of Dobbs so we switched out all four of our tires. Couldn't be happier and will continue getting our car serviced here. Staff is timely, knowledgeable and they offer great deals. Thanks Jerry! Place is god awful. Got 4 new tires replaced in February. Tire pressure lights still on, Tpms still comes on. My car hasn't been the same since it left the lot. It shakes, makes vibrating noises. Before leaving I told them to check my tires since it was a newer car. They think I'm stupid or something because he put a scan device up to the tire like it was reading something. Didn't plug it into the air hole, didn't get any pressure read off of it. Says they'll turn off by 15 mins going 50 or over. So I wait a week. Call back and say it's still not off. They tell me to give it another week. So it went from 15 minutes to 2 weeks. Still doesn't turn off. Call back and then the manager threatened to fight me as a customer because I called them out on their mistakes. Trying to take advantage of someone isn't a way to get a customer back. I will never bring any vehicle here. And anyone I hear talk about this place I will make sure to not have them go. Shittiest customer service.. shittiest actual service. Called 6 months later and both managers are fired. So I ask them to check my tire pressure light.. now wants to charge me for their mistakes. I guess that is job security right there when you mess someone's car up while your "fixing" something else. Pieces of shit. read more

Our family has been coming to this Autotire store since 1986 and has experienced consistently excellent service. How many people have memorized the phone number of a car repair place? I have. After today you have lost our business forever. I made an appointment for an oil change online, and when given the choice, chose to wait while the service was done. When I arrived, on time, the manager, Jerry, confirmed my phone number so he could call when it was done. When I said I'd be waiting he told me this was a "drop off only" location. I have nearly always waited while my oil was changed. I told him the website gave me the choice to wait, and Jerry replied that he's "not responsible for what the website says". I was astounded, and my voice got higher, but I never yelled at him. Still he warned me not to raise my voice, and in the end he refused to do the oil change while I waited. Tried a couple months later, this time planning for leaving my car all day and perhaps overnight (which I did have to do).
