A few weeks ago, while on my way to Lancaster (I work there during the week and travel back to…read morePennsylvania on the weekends) I had a flat tire. AAA was kind enough to temporarily plug the hole and get me on my way, admonishing me to seek a more permanent repair before returning to Pennsylvania. Thursday morning as I was pulling into work, I noticed that the tire was losing air again, giving me a warning light. That morning, I scheduled a repair at Tire Choice on North Memorial in Lancaster. A technician came out to check my tire. He said that the repair couldn't be done as it was closer than an inch from the sidewall. I said that the center of the hole was 1.33 innches from the sidewall ( I had measured it). He said, " Well, that's too close for me and I'm not comfortable." He shrugged and walked away. That was it. No help. It would have been hard for him to care less how I was going to get home to Pennsylvania. I was in trouble; I was desperate. Fortunately, on my way to Tire choice, I remembered passing Katz Tires. I turned my car around and headed south on North Memorial. It was a block or two away. They could not have been kinder. The technician had me pull my car immediately in front of a bay. Two or three of them descended on the car. They applied a soapy mix and found that the repair wasn't producing any bubbles. They pulled the tire off and found that I must have driven too long on the deflating tire and the belts were beginning to show. I needed a replacement to get home. Since I had four new tires waiting for me at home, they provided me a used tire to get home. They saved the day. Bottom line: whereas Tire Choice offered me no assistance in getting home, Katz Tires saved the Day by going the extra mile when it came to providing diagnostics. If you want my opinion, keep driving past Tire Choice to Katz Tires where they will go the extra mile for you and get you safely to your destination..

They were able to get us in diagnose the issue and EVEN had the part in stock!! Fixed the recall and the issue within about an hour. Purchased a vehicle from here, I probably should have walked away from the get go but really wanted…read morea car. I was told I couldn't test drive because it had not been detailed yet, and was surrounded by other vehicles. I was assured that I could test drive it before I met the finance guy the next morning. The first red flag was that finance guys had to leave early the next day so if I didn't get it done first thing then in would have to wait another 2 days. The second red flag was they couldn't find the key and told me to start the finance stuff while they searched for the key. The third flag was when the monthly payment was 30$ more than we agreed to. I got up to leave but the GM sorted it out by playing finance magician. I drove the car from the lot and a check engine light came on almost immediately, I turned back into the lot and they pulled the codes and rest it. The codes said the clutch fan was bad and they would take car of it. I came back after it was fixed and drove it home. The check engine light came on the next morning and the Trailblazer (02) sounded like a jet taking off. I drove back to the dealer and they took me outside so I wouldn't make a scene. I was being loud. When they listened to the car they said that was normal and the car is "as is". That was two years ago... since then I have replaced a transmission, complete front end suspension - pretty much twice, plugs and coil packs, wheel bearing hub assembly, neutral safety switch, sway bar links (all of them), u-joint, 4x4 actuator, front end differential housing, countless fuses and wiring harnesses, calipers and rotors oh... and a clutch fan. The car is junk... The dealers are liars. Avoid at all cost. Read the unrecommended reviews as well!!! Update: 1/2015 Car still junk. I hate it and Taylor Chevrolet. This review was not harsh enough.
