Okay let me start this by saying, I know nothing about cars. (I'm a 25 year old woman trying to…read morelearn how to maintain and fix my own vehicle.)So, I walked into O'Reillys clueless asking for a stain remover. I was greeted by some helpful gentlemen and referred to Sherm. He helped me select the right cleaning solvent to get the coffee out of my car seats. As the other gentlemen claimed, Sherm is the expert, so I decided to ask some more car questions. Having a hefty scratch on the back of my car, I was wondering if I could take care of that myself. He helped me hand select the products needed, taught me how to do it, wrote it down and reviewed it with me. He looked up the style and make of my car to confirm we got the right paint, and made sure I understood how to do it. I also have a cracked fender/bumper(cluelessness example) and he helped me buy the products needed, and physically assisted me with putting the lug nuts on. As an older gentlemen he was on the ground helping me fix my issues. He made me confident that I could fix my scratches on my car, and he was incredibly professional and resourceful. I promised Sherm I would come back to show him the result when I repainted my scratches like he told me. When I came home, I told my fiancé about the encounter and he stated "they don't make them like that anymore". That's the truth, he took time out of his day to explain, assist, and physically look at the car issues I was facing. I was nervous walking into an auto repair store knowing nothing about cars or how to fix them, but genuinely walked out feeling motivated and confident to do it myself. Sherm is the best, he's experienced and has great customer service. They truly don't make them like him anymore. (Give that man a raise)

He decided to comment on that and said yeah I bet you got rewards for the dress shop... I said I don't go there often either lmao. my question is just why is any comment like that needed? I stopped in here one afternoon and the staff spent at least 10 minutes with me asking questions and helping me to find products that specifically fit my vehicle and my needs. The customer service here is outstanding. Friendly staff with the can-do attitude make this the only place I will shop for auto parts and accessories. Great job!

The manager at this location was very helpful and held a conversation when prompted. He made me feel comfortable, although walking in to an auto parts store 7mths pregnant, I felt a bit out of place. When I returned the tool they "loaned" us, he was just as pleasant as the first encounter and remembered me. He asked if everything went well and if my car was now fixed, which I thought was a nice gesture. It is hard to find "good" customer service and I appreciate it when I see it! I told my husband that I liked that store, and he agreed that it had a good experience there, when he choose it just a few weeks ago for the first time!

Josh, the assistant manager, came out to parking lot and did full diagnostics test on 1. battery, 2, generator, and 3. alternator. All were completely fine. Turned out the problem was a loose cable clamp on one of the battery terminals. Which he then tighteded at no charge with his wrench and pliers. Outstanding integrity. I bought replacement cable clamps to put on later, because they were in pretty bad shape. $12, total. Josh gave me name of local repair shop that could do it for me inexpensively and on short notice.
