10/10 service both times I've been here! The first time I went here was to buy 4 new tires, and they took little to no time at all getting it done! I was very impressed with their work timing! 4 new tires for my 2006 Toyota Corolla was about $480ish which was not bad at all!! And just recently I went back as one of my new tires unfortunately had a nail in it, which they replaced for free, and I was also reminded of updating my spare tire which was only $165! I highly recommend this place! Both times I've gone here, Tamera helped me out and she is so kind! She explains things very well, and professionally. She answers questions very well too! I had 4 places to inquire about snow tires for our 2 cars. I called Discount tire 1st and spoke to Adam. His knowledge had me, and his personable skills were even better. I never called the 3 other stores and went to visit Adam at the Maple Grove store. We bought snow tires, rims and storage for both cars. Hats off to Adam and Discount Tire. read more

Swapped out winter tires for the all-seasons. The service advisors and techs are always friendly. The price to swap the tires went up from $80 to $100 which is a pretty steep increase considering I'm doing two cars at two swaps a year. I had an appointment but was still quoted an hour for the work which rarely takes even 30 minutes at the Lino Lakes store. The tech told me they set the tire pressure but the TPMS light was on and the sensors were showing the drivers side 2 lbs over and the passenger side 3 lbs under. The tech said the TPMS would go off "after 15 minutes of driving." It did not. Once I added air the TPMS stopped barking. I'll check all four with a gauge when it's cold to see if the readings match what the sensors are reporting to the car's computer and adjust from there. read more

Sent my fiancé there for rims and tires for a Jeep Wrangler, was told they cannot align it because the tie rods were seized, we had just replaced them keep in mind, picked up the Jeep and I watched him struggle turning to the right, called the store and was told the tech tried to adjust the tie rods, guess what, you CANNOT adjust tie rods on a jeep so now we have to bring to someone who KNOWS how to work properly on vehicles because now we cannot safely drive it!!! $3000.00 mistake!!!! Had my tires rotated here and the service was prompt. They will patch your tire for free too! When they called to tell me my vehicle was ready they told me they have very good pricing on wiper blades if I was interested. I passed this time but would consider in the future. read more

Just in for rotation and balancing. Had to add air to 2 tires later that day and discovered after I left that they reset my Oil Life Monitor to 100% even though I didn't get oil change. I rely on that monitor for my oil changes. Two rotations prior they left my car in the lot across from them with car RUNNING and key FOB in the cup holder! They provide quick service but should pay better attention to what they're doing.​ read more

I recently had my vehicle into another shop for an issue that was later diagnosed as a worn-out transfer case. The mechanics said the damage was done because I had three tires that were the same and one was a different size. I remembered that I had Discount Tire put on all four tires. I called and talked to Mitch, the store manager. I asked him to pull up my files and confirm that they had recently replaced two tires after one of the original four had gotten a flat. I then asked him if one of my tires was the wrong size if that would damage the transfer case. He said it would. I told him what the other shop had found and told him the bill was $5,800 and if Discount Tire would pay for the repair. He immediately said, "Absolutely!". He went above and beyond and said that he'd put on four brand-new tires at no additional charge to me. That is what customer service is all about. I know they didn't put the wrong tire on purposefully, took responsibility for their mistake, and then topped it. I will always go to Discount Tire for my tires. My mom and I were in the Maple Grove area. Our vehicle got a flat tire. They fixed it right away and for free. We went and got a Starbucks coffee and by the time we were done with our coffee the tire was fixed. It actually had two holes in the tire. We were impressed with the fast service and that it was free! read more

First time coming here and was very impressed! I bought a set of 4 new tires else where about 2 years ago and 2 keep I have to keep putting air in weekly. I went to the original place I bought them for a rotation and ask them to look at the 2 low tires which they later advised they 'didn't have time to look'. Called Discount Tire and they said they could look at them right away and free of charge for my first visit. They cleaned the corrosion on my rims and I was good to go. Bought tires here a year ago. My wife went in to have them rotated. They started working on her to worry about stopping distance. Tired have 15000 miles and look new. She is so worked up she wants new tires based on what the guy told her about reduced stopping distance. BS upsell! Many choices for tires I don't need scare tactics over nearly new Michelins. read more

I have been to his Discount Tire many times and have excellent, honest service. I also drive a Subaru, like Saul, and have had to replace all four tires. I hate to see someone who does not have all of his facts straight passing on incorrect information. As stated on Subaru's website: "For safe vehicle operation, SUBARU recommends replacing all four tires at the same time. WARNING: All four tires must be the same in terms of manufacturer, brand (tread pattern), construction, degree of wear, speed symbol, load index and size. Mixing tires of different types, sizes or degrees of wear can result in damage to the vehicle's power train. Use of different types or sizes of tires can also dangerously reduce controllability and braking performance and can lead to an accident. Use only radial tires. Do not use radial tires together with belted bias tires and/or bias-ply tires. I came into a location to have my summer wheels/tired put on. Lucas Rosten, Senior assistant manager, informed me that since one of the tires has wear, he had to replace all 4 as this was Subaru's policy, and Discount Tire's policy was to abide by all Manufacturer policies. It was quite obvious that Lucas was lying to make a sale. When I requested to see the policy in writing he got very upset, yelling, rude and told me I was no longer welcome there. I asked for his card and he questioned me as to why I wanted it, in fact one of the tire techs overheard and offered to give me his instead. I called Subaru after I was kicked out of Discount Tire for calling out Lucas on his very transparent attempt at strong arming his way into a sale. Subaru, predictably, told me they had no such policy. I fully intend to follow up with Subaru as to the malicious misrepresentation of their policies by a unaffiliated third party to for their own financial gain. read more
