Nancy at the front desk showed me a picture of the car and I agreed it was the correct color and paid for the parts. She left out that they were coming from Corvallis Oregon. Fast forward a week later and I get a text saying the parts are ready. I drive out there first thing in the morning and the hood is still not there AND the fender is the complete wrong color. Nancy tells me she CANNOT guarantee the color and there would be a 20% restock fee. Luckily a guy with common sense behind the counter heard our conversation and told me there would be no restock and they would order the correct color fender and have it there with my hood in a few days. Last night I get a phone call saying my parts are ready for pickup. So this morning I get in my truck and drive 40 minutes to graham only to be told that the hood is in fact STILL not there. I demand a refund. Nancy tells me she is going to charge a 20% restock fee I tell her no the hell she isn't and that diesel is $7.00 a gallon and they have wasted enough of my time. She then asked if I used a credit card and when I answered yes she immediately told me to have a nice day. No receipt no nothing. It's insane to me they have such good reviews on google. A complete joke of a wrecking yard. I'm not sure how they are even a business with that kind of customer service.

Story below.... My wife is in Safeway. 3 daughters, aged 3, 5 and 9, are in the car. We had been at the river all day long and are wiped from the sun and fun. My wife comes out with ice cream and a bunch of other groceries. And........ my truck won't start. I see O'Reilly's and walk over. I explain the noises and the assistant manager, who believe was named Kip, gives me a couple of options. 1st thought was the starter, but we decided we'd test the battery first. Problem number 1, I have no tools to take the battery out. Kip doesn't flinch and gives me a few tools out of his stash. Problem number 2, I get the darn battery half way out, and can't get around to a bolt without an extension to the ratchet. Kip takes a new tool off his shelf and hands it to me. I'm happy to buy it, but he says just don't ding it up. I probably shouldn't share this part, but it was such a great gesture. The tool did the job and I handed it back as clean as it was when he handed it to me. Kip tests the battery. It's a goner. I happily buy a new battery and use the same tools to put the new battery in. The car starts right up. The only casualty was the ice cream, but the kids were half way done with that by the time I got the truck started. I brought my daughters in to thank the guys. By the way, it was a Sunday and these guys stayed 15 minutes after closing to help me get this all done. And I know very very little about cars or doing this stuff myself. I tell this story to anyone that will listen. It's a great example of doing the right thing.

No issue much like the past. About 150 miles later i started getting a EVAP code. Number one reason is GAS CAP! Today i came in to return or buy a new one that hopefully worked. Talked to the manager anthony. I explained what happened. And then said What else could it be. Meaning mechanics Start with the easy stuff then get into the hard to diagnose things. Which is the gas cap. So instead of just getting me the needed gas cap he wanted to argue what it could also be. Like im going to pull My purge valve and check it instead of just replacing the gas cap then going from there. I hope he enjoyed it cause everytime i come in me and my pals will be sure to give this nitwit a hard time. You might know what your talking about. But any real mechanic starts with the EASY OBVIOUS answer. Which was not what you wanted me to do. You wanted to sell more parts send me down a wild rabbit hole. Do yourself a favor like ive learned in the past. head to O'Riellys where they even agreed its more then likely the gas cap. Which the manager admitted has been an issue more then once and caused this EXACT issue im having. This guy is a clown. Wants to argue so we will be sure to do that me and all my pals that live close and frequent there.

It is, frankly, hard to understand why auto parts stores like this remain in business. Recently, I…read morestopped in to purchase two replacement headlight bulbs for my daughter's car. I knew from the outset that I could purchase the bulbs on Amazon and have them delivered the next day but, as she needed to have the bulbs replaced before nightfall, I compromised and went to AutoZone instead - my mistake. I first checked with the guy at the counter, to confirm that the part number I had was correct; he checked his computer, confirmed it, and then told me to look for the number in the upper right hand corner of the package. (He could, of course, have walked to the bulb section of the store and found it along with me, but that would have involved some effort on his part- silly me for expecting actual customer service.) I found the bulbs I needed - $20 on Amazon, $29 here - and brought them to the counter to purchase. Same guy checked me out, didn't offer a bag nor say thank you, and promptly resumed his conversation with another staff member. Next time, I'll order the bulbs on Amazon and give the kid a ride to work for a day. It will be cheaper and make for a far more pleasant experience than shopping here. This isn't a one-off experience with AutoZone, by the way. Not long ago, I needed to replace one of the little plastic tabs that hold up the insulation panel under the hood of my car. On-line I could buy a dozen for $6; at AutoZone, I could buy two for $6. Ridiculous.

In the end will I have paid a ridiculous amount for my tires once all is said & done? Absolutely, however, I desperately needed new tires & did not have anything close to the amount needed to get even a basic cheap set anywhere so it is what it is & I'm incredibly grateful for their payment plan option as it has kept me from losing my job & ultimately becoming homeless.

And Courtney responded to my inquiry fairly fast even when they were closed, which most companies don't do. And then they listened to my request and found me a cost efficient tire and it came in overnight, they also assessed the issues I was experiencing and fixed it. All around 5 star service by Courtney, Allen, the other gentleman at the desk, and even their technician. Their technician took me into the shop to show me what's needed and was super professional and nice. Their office, waiting room, AND their shop was super clean. Another thing I want to mention, was while I was waiting for my car in the lobby (which wasn't long maybe 30 minutes)--the ladies and the people at the front desk were PASSIONATELY re-decorating the lobby/wait room. Putting a lot of thought and care to customer experience and presentation. Not sure if they're the owners, but says a lot about the company to me in my opinion. I wasn't asked to make this review, but I highly recommend trying these guys out, very helpful, easy, and valuable. They'll save you time, money, and stress.
