Jason was very kind and I asked if I should leave and he insisted that since they had to do the other car it was going to be fine All the staff was respectful and to the best of my knowledge did a good job. I went in for a quick oil change and right after they finished, my car started beeping at me telling me to shut the engine off because oil pressure was too low. I asked a worker about it and he said it should go away and that I was good to go. Excuse me? While my car is yelling at me to turn my engine off??? It wasn't saying that before I brought it to you guys. He goes to find someone else and after 1.5 hours of waiting, my car is still showing this error. I take it to Audi and it turns out there is a spindle piece that goes inside the filter and they found it LAYING ON THE BELLY PANEL. The whole time I was there waiting, no one provided a single update. I had to keep going to them and asking for an update. Edit: after initially giving this place a 1 star, I've changed it to 3 after speaking with the location manager, Jason. He was pretty exceptional. He was very apologetic, refunded me, and will cover any damages this may have caused me at Audi. The experience sucked, but Jason took care of it. More business managers need to be like Jason! read more

Signs all over claiming 15 minute oil change. After 25 minutes I asked a gentleman if it was going to be much longer. He said " gotta wait for a bay to open up ". NO KIDDING! I went to Jiffy Lube on Mildred needing an oil change and a general check up. Dan greeted me right away and was very understanding in what I needed done. I didn't have to wait long at all. When I got into the bay, Josh took care of my vehicle right away. He was quick with everything despite my light giving him a hard time lol. He also flushed out my engine because it was making a weird noise, which is completely gone now! :) I forgot the guys name in the lower bay but he was also very quick and he rocks for doing all those oil changes that day. overall my visit was fast, efficient and they even gave me preventative care tips for next time. I've been going to Jiffy Lube for decades. This was the worst experience I've ever had. I waited 30 minutes in a line that didn't move, and had to leave for an appointment. I came back afterwards and waited in line two hours -- for only 2 cars ahead of me -- and then the person who did my oil change was difficult to understand. Helpful, but hard to understand. And the oil change took 30 minutes because there was a lot of walking away from my car and then coming back. During my 2.5 hours there, I saw the same thing happen with other cars - the leaving and coming back. Way more than normal, in my decades of experience. I will never go back to this location again. read more

Disappointed with this service. I had to wait so long, and then they moved me out of line and left me outside waiting for a filter to be changed at the outdoor, leaving my entire car wet. Totally disappointing. I would never come back here. You don't offer a service that you won't be able to provide satisfactorily. Where is the manager of this store? Is this how the person in charge fixes things? My entire car got wet. I thought they were professional people, but my experience was horrible. Great service. The team communicated well and took good care of my vehicle (used car that was way overdue for service).

I've been to this location twice, both times have now been bad experiences. First time they conveniently "ran out" of the oil I needed, but didn't tell me until it was time to pay and tried to up charge me for more expensive oil. After dealing with the manager he finally agreed to charge me the price we originally agreed to. The second time they couldn't figure out how to change my oil at all. They didn't have the correct bit, but didn't know what bit they needed until they reached out to their manager who was out of the store. I waited around for 45 minutes while they twiddled their thumbs and tried to figure it out. They finally just told me to go to another location. This place is run extremely poorly and it shows. I will never go back to this location and I highly advise anyone who needs their oil changed to avoid this store at all costs. read more

Had plugs and wires put on an 08 explorer today. Car runs like new I'm sure I'll pick up some mpg, also. Seth the mechanic did a great job. Sara in the office gives free estimates that are very detailed. If something comes up and an extra part or expense is needed. They will always get your approval on any changes before hand. They always inform me when they recommend replacing filters, how my tires are looking, and how my oil changes go. Came in for a simple oil change like I do at various other jiffy lubes, have ever only been charged 80ish, but this time the set price was $118, okay that's fine a bit pricey but I understand, they than recommend I need a cabin air filter for my car so I said yes, they then say they will tell me how much it would be but before he could do that he had already thrown it in the garbage, never came back to say anything. In the end it turned out to be $180 close to $200 for a simple cabin air filter which is $30 or less at an auto parts store,safe to say Ill most likely stop doing business with jiffy lube and go to a trusted mechanic. read more

They should re-brand this company "Slow Lube" as there is absolutely nothing "Jiffy" about the business. If I owned this business I would fire the entire crew. No high-pressure sales, and coupons were easy to find online ahead of my visit. No, it doesn't cost $15 anymore....but at around $50 it was still a reasonable value in my opinion. read more

Came in for some preventative services. At the time they didn't have the tools for a couple of them, but they achieved the radiator coolant exchange. I also got a headlight restoration service. Jiffy Lube in Tacoma at 2218 Mildred St W. ruined my family car!! I got an oil change and engine flush and the next day my car engine blew on the freeway while my pregnant wife was driving the car. We are lucky she was not hit while she lost functionality of the car. It has been 6 weeks and I have not had a resolution an minimal response from Jiffy Lube. This place rocks. Had no idea before I was about to write a review, that they already had great reviews. I can see why for myself now. Normally, I find these young and older fellas just do their job and not really care, but I felt very appreciated while getting my oil change! Gotta go for yourself. Came in close to close on a Friday, felt very welcomed by the whole staff, and I believe the lady at the desk might have been the shift manager, and she was so friendly. I stopped in to get my oil checked and I was a quart low. They topped it off and then said they were able to change my rear brake light for me. The woman helping me had to actually climb into my trunk (which was not big) to change it! She accomplished the task with a smile. When asked how much I owed she said no charge! What awesome service. I drove up to the Jiffy Lube right by my new home on Monday. It was not busy at all. Before I barely pulled up to the building, some guy walked out waving his and as I rolled down my window, he said "We don't service vehicles with any hood damage." My hood has a dent and the grill is missing, but my hood works just fine. It has a DENT. It closes just fine, it opens just fine, it STAYS open just fine. I said ok. From the parking lot, I called the Jiffy Lube across town off 6th Ave (30 minutes out of our way). I asked about this new policy regarding hood damage. He said it's not a policy and to bring my car by and they'll take a look to make sure it was safe. So I went back into the Mildred and asked who this guy was and confirmed that he was going to turn my service away. He said "Absolutely I'm turning you away. I'm the store manager and I get to MAKE that call." I was pissed so I got his district managers number, called Chris the DM to clarify about the "hood policy" and to clarify if that was how he wants his managers handling their customers. The 6th Ave location didn't even second guess my car. They welcomed me with courtesy, dignity, and respect. For my peace of mind, I asked the 6th Ave technician to check my hood. He said it was fine and he doesn't understand why Mildred would turn away a customer and act so rude. We missed a couple errands because of having to drive across town and go to 6th Ave location which was much much busier (because obviously it's the location that treats people right). It's not that hard to treat people with respect. Figure it out Mildred Jiffy Lube manager. I encourage everyone to skip over Mildred and take their money to the 6th Ave/Sprague location. read more

Jeff owns this shop and he is amazing!! Yesterday I pulled into his shop desperate for some help changing out a battery and he was kind, understanding, and so incredibly personable. Even though I didn't buy my battery from him (which I should have because it comes with roadside assistance!) he said, "I can tell you need some help, I'll take care of this right away." Within ten minutes my car was totally fixed (I had been driving with a dead battery and jumped it 6 times already that day). When I told Jeff how incredible he and his team were he just waved it off and said, "just pay it forward to someone else." This kind of generosity is so rare these days!!! If you need to stop by a shop where someone will be a decent human and not just see you as an idiot car driver....COME HERE!!!!
