He delivered these comments without a smile, and the tone came off as unprofessional rather than friendly. He did not offer water, did not give a time estimate, and I ended up sitting in the bay for more than 50 minutes before anyone even touched my vehicle. The music in the shop was so loud you could barely hear anyone speaking. When Luke finally approached to explain the oil change I needed, I asked if it was the same type I received previously. He said he didn't know because his system was "fried" and he couldn't view my past service history. After the oil change was finished, he told a young lady named Faith to check me out. Faith was polite, but when I asked why none of my fluids, filters, or tire pressure had been checked--as they normally do and as I watched them do for other customers--she said she was only told to cash me out, and that I could "come back tomorrow" to have everything checked. This was the longest and worst experience I've ever had at Take 5. The customer service was nonexistent today, and based on this visit, I will not be returning.

7 3 2025 Update…read more I've been taking my vehicle to Valvoline probably my 10th to 15th trip now and I did not find out recently until last visit that they've been putting 0 to 20 weight in my vehicle when my Vehicles specifications are 0 to 50 weight oil. It even says it on Google and when I inquired the employee about this, he said that their computers states they are required 0 to 20 weight oil but it doesn't make sense (He even showed me). I asked him if there was an extra charge for an upgrade or something so I could make it right and he said no, so why wouldn't they put the recommended oil in a BMW so the engine isn't damaged in the long run? After he fixed all these things I'm told I have a leak in my windshield that went into the dashboard or water intrusions we got it running and it's fine. You can pick it up and take it to get the Bimmer Shop or dealership-get the windshield leak fixed. They even told me about a glass repair shop behind them. I told them I would pick it up Monday because I worked across town. They left my car out of the shop in the rain all weekend. Fred called Monday and told me I needed a tow truck because it is an electrical problem now. Long story short I contacted the dealership and Bimmer shop and they both confirmed I was just ripped off. The water intrusion (their diagnosis) was easily identified and they knew additional work was not needed if the electrical was not resolved. On top of that they left the car out in the rain all weekend. Allen at the Bimmer Shop said we are not going to take your money. Fred's took zero responsibility for leaving the car in the rain. They close at 5pm and refused to stay open and just left the car sit outside in the rain knowing the windshield had a leak. Needless to say it is now not worth fixing. I'm taking them to small claims court as they took zero responsibility. Both dealership and Bimmer shop said they are not going to just take my money. DO NOT GO TO FRED AUTOMOTIVE in HUMBLE, Texas. They will not do the right thing all they want is to text message to fake problems and steal your money!!! Beware Money Grab! If you can't fix it just say you can't or don't know-nope they want the money!!

The vehicle remained at the shop for over a year, and throughout that time we were repeatedly told that repairs were being completed. When the vehicle was finally returned to us, it continued to have the same issues it had when it was originally dropped off. We recently sought an independent inspection from a certified Mini Cooper technician and were informed that many of the repairs we paid for do not appear to have been performed. According to the technician, the vehicle remains in substantially the same condition as before. We have attempted to resolve this matter directly with the shop but have not received a satisfactory explanation or resolution. Complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau and the Texas Attorney General's Office. I am sharing this because I wish someone had warned us. If you are considering major repairs on your vehicle, I strongly encourage you to obtain detailed documentation, ask for old parts to be returned, and consider getting a second opinion before authorizing expensive repairs. If anyone in the Kingwood area has had a similar experience, I would appreciate hearing from you.

The building itself isn't rundown, but by no means is the building brand new. I expect a mechanic shop to have grit to showcase they actually work and they don't mind getting dirty. I forget, every year, to do my yearly inspection. Surely enough, looking at the blue sticker in my window showcases my forgetfulness. There are a multitude of places in Houston metropolitan area that does this inspection, but I wanted close to home and in & out service. I called these guys and they informed me they had an open slot. I show up and was nicely greeted and was asked if I was the one that called. They took all necessary information and got my vehicle right in and out. I can only gauge them based off the service I needed and the quality of service I was given. If any other work is needed and I utilize them, I'll adjust my rating accordingly.

Fast forward to 3.22 my car is ready they still want me to pay almost $3k for the new service not even offsetting the original service that wasn't needed . 3.24 my car is back at Meineke all sort os safety lights flashing and sounds and my car sounds like a diesel .3.26 still no car!
