They have the worst customer service associate in the front. Especially that weird lady with no teeth at the self check out. She monitors your checkout on her phone and she doesn't pay attention to other stuff. If she think you are stealing or missed a scam she makes you feel like a criminal. And when she accuses someone of false actions she embarrasses them with her load voice and what she says is so load in turn around and notice the customer looking humiliated, because of the way, she treats them for a simple mistake. The customers didn't steal anything. In fact, they rung everything up correctly. But she still accused him of stealing a hat that he was wearing on his head. It was terrible. She tried to take his hat off his head and he stopped her by slapping her hand saying, don't touch me and she started raising her voice and being a rate to him this is the girl name EMME she has no teeth, gray, long hair and fat. you gotta watch out for her cause she might accuse you of stealing something and she wasn't paying attention to your order but the system glitches out sometimes and your order doesn't come up properly sometimes so then she jumps in and makes you feel like a chump. I watched her do it to two people, she probably does it to several people a day. I don't know why management hasn't corrected the problem but this store with the three stars that it gets no wonder why. The customer service here is the worst I've ever experienced. It seems like most of the employees are not happy working there along the sales floor. And some of the checkstand girls talk shit about each other in front of the customers. I don't understand that. There's this girl Joanne she makes fun of a handicap employee there and says if I ate what I wanted to then I'd be as fat as her and she's talking about her teammate. I overheard the conversation when I was being checked out by another associate. I couldn't believe how these employees act in front of the public. Where is management. I never could see a manage manager when you need them. You always have to wait around for them. This is a really terrible store. Also I got two tires last week and asked Reggie to put my used tires in my back of truck because these were two very good tires and I can sell and reuse one for spare. He told me they would. Nope. I had to drive back down into the service area and ask where my tires are? Reggie said, oh you didn't put them on to his teammate. It's just their customers service skills and communication skills suck there. The entire store has issues. To top it off the employee seemed reluctant to carry my tires to my truck. I get my tires here. They have great prices on tires and the technicians get you in and out within an hour. I like that they have insurance which costs about $10 which covers the tire in case you run over a nail and get a flat... no fee fo flat repair. You can do a little shopping while you wait for your car. It does get crowded on the weekend so come early in the morning so you can beat the crowd. read more

The greeting person, Trecia, is horrible. She harassed my husband about our service dog. Then, after my husband got our 3 year old daughter a "CHOC Donation Balloon" she made it a point to walk over to tell him he had to pay. She saw him scan the QR code and told him it wasn't free. When we were walking out the store, she asked for a receipt of the donation balloon. What a terrible way to greet people in the store and treat someone who donated 5X the amount for a bunny balloon instead of paying for the minimum ($5). When the manager was called over and my husband showed her the receipt to the donation, all he asked for was an apology from this greeter who had no idea how the donation process works. This lady had the audacity to laugh at my husband. This is a terrible representation of any face of a company. She needs to be put in the backroom to stock products instead. I order 4 tires and scheduled an appointment for installation they send me the time confirmation that the tires in store and my appointment from 4-5 pm I called the store spoke with Ryan and he said to come I. I normally hate all Walmarts but this one isn't so bad. They are currently going through remodeling which was and is very annoying. A lot of stock were missing and things were out of order so it made shopping a bit difficult. Some of the employers here don't know anything, but hey it's Walmart. However, I do like that Walmart is all about equal opportunity. I noticed that there are many people with disabilities working at this specific location which I loved. Also, there is an age range from 18-60+ year olds working here which is awesome. As a teacher and a human being first, I loved seeing that everyone has the ability to find work. For the most part, the employees are helpful. There are the occasional "idk it's somewhere in that aisle over there I think" employees that make me want to hit my head on the wall type, but ehh. Trecia is a rude, stalker. She needs to be retrained about what customer service is. Until she learns to be nicer, she needs to be put on administrative leave. This "greeter" hounded my husband about a donation balloon we bought for our daughter. When our daughter was picking out her balloon, the fake greeter left her post and made a big show about how the balloon was not free. Duh! We can read the sign! She didn't know the donation process and accused us of stealing when we were leaving the store. We told her we made the donation on through the QR code and she needs to be knowledgeable before attacking others. She laughed when the manager was apologizing to us. I ordered clothes on Walmart's website. Some of the items were very poorly made and the sizes were way off. I submitted an online return which said "take these items to a Walmart associate, show them your return bar code and they will package up the returns... simple... however.... After working with the associate for over an hour and waiting on the phone for 84 mins... there was no resolution for 4 of the items because it would only show "error" to anyone trying to assist me at Walmart. The items were from a third party and Walmart wasn't able to return the items. Never again Walmart!!!!! I sent an email to Walmart and nothing has been resolved. Sad! read more

This store is not run well. I recently went to the store having purchased a children's toy a few days prior. I went to return the item and was told the item could not be returned due to store policy. I asked where the policy was stated. They sent someone to look for where the policy was stated and the person never came back. Finally I said let's go to the area and just look. Two individuals went with me and after 20 minutes of looking found a small sticker in the sporting good section with the verbiage. Keep in mind I bough the item in the toy section and would never have seen the sticker having checked out at the main checkout area. This is a great example of when common sense is not so common. Wal-Mart for a billion dollar company to run this way you should be ashamed. Fraudulent policy for sure. Beware of this for any future shoppers going to this store. Go to Target instead. Spectrum salespersons harass you all the time. The Spectrum salespersons ( 3 salespersons in the store) don't care. I went into this Walmart to get a toilet bowl brush and plunger. I had a hard time finding it so I had to walk around a lot. That was fine. I was looking at other things also. However, 3 times when I was walking around or looking at products, there would be a Spectrum salesperson asking if you had Spectrum. Extremely annoying. Rather go to Target. read more

This is a review for the Auto Center and relates to an incident that occurred some time back. 1. I took my car to the auto center here. Got an oil change, but the tech put on the cap wrong. 2. While driving home all the oil leaked out and the engine seized. 3. Told to drive car back to Walmart oil center. I did but they could not fix car. 4. Walmart insurance would not cover damage to car because they said that I was responsible for damaging the car because I drove it back to Walmart instead of having it towed. It was my wife's car that she was proud of and the manger at Walmart assured us we would be taken care of, and we took his word on it. read more

I got a phone call 5pm and the lady started talking about her grocery delivery. I stopped her and said she had come trough a private no. She told me they said she was being put through to a manager. Her call came again at 5.30pm. later on I got a call and the young men, associate started asking if a red wallet had been found. I told him that this was a private no and he said he would notify the manager. 9.30pm another call from an associate who said all he did was put in 3 nos on the phone from the floor to reach a manager. This happened for 2 days. I could not get through to the Brea walmart. I contacted head office and was told it was my phone and I should contact my provider!!! they were using their phone and putting nos in how would it be my fault. Despite the nice gentlemen breaking the usual garden center checker being friendly and efficient, I have to rate this a 1 star. Everywhere I went in the store there were employees having extremely personal conversations on the floor. Myself, working in hospitality for over a decade, know that that is not professional or guest friendly. Service WITHOUT bad attitude is alive and well at Walmart on Imperial Highway in Brea. Kendra, Dept Manager, was exceptionally helpful today. She had to stop what she was doing to go to her storeroom to get a product I wanted. She was awesome and didn't reflect any negativity or frustration in having to stop her work, push her cart and fetch something for me. This may not sound like much but how often do we find this type of service anywhere! And then! I went to Electronics and met John. Second time in 10 minutes I received exactly what I needed, actually better than what I came for, understood the difference andas provided with excellent service again. And John had to pull my product from the top shelf. Again, no negativity, frustration or inconvenience expressed about my request. Way to go Kendra & John. I will seek you both out next time I need help (in your respective departments of course)! read more

This is the worst. There are more employees walking around than customers. I came in for a window screen I bought online for pick up. There is only one person handling returns and pick ups together and there are at least six ppl waiting in this line and the store is empty. I don't understand what the other employees are doing besides getting in the way of my cart. Normally I wouldn't bother yelping about a bad experience but I had to do something with all the time I spent waiting in line. And to the lady that did finally assist me... Where do I start? 1) Inventory is always a crapshoot. Sometimes entire aisles will be empty and you're just out of luck. 2) On several occasions I have purchased something and found random parts missing. It's as if customers are buying things, taking certain parts out, and returning the rest for a full refund. The problem is that the employees don't seem to be checking that everything is there before putting it back on the shelf. 3) Certain "expensive" items (like electric toothbrush heads) are locked in a case, and you have to wait 10+ minutes for an employee to open it for you. And then they don't trust you to take it to the cashier - they take it up there and you have to ask for it. 4) Customer service? Forget about it. Once I went there to buy a refrigerator advertised to be on sale. When I got there, they had not adjusted the price on the sticker, so I called an employee for help. That employ told me to take it (i.e., I had to physically haul the refrigerator) to the customer service desk. After I waited in the customer service line, the customer service person told me there was nothing they could do, and to take it back to the shelf! Enough is enough. quite possibly the WORST customer service possible at the Brea Walmart location by Jay and his manager Vera. The new self checkout machines were not fully operational as they did not allow cash payments nor cash back. We made the mistake of requesting cash back and when we apologized for the error, we were immediately given attitude by Jay who rudely told us we shouldn't have done that... and that now would have to wait for for his manager. once his manager, Vera arrived, she too gave attitude. no greeting at all. Vera then proceeded to demand our receipt. Again we apologized to Vera for causing this inconvenience to her. Vera then angrily mashed the screen, retrieved the cash and proceeded to attempt to scold us for using a machine that was put into service when it obviously shouldn't have been. Didn't stick around for Vera to finish talking... took the cash and walked out. ZERO customer service skills. WORST walmart experience ever. If you hate customer service... find a new job. read more

Walmart Tire Center has been my go-to tire repair center for installing new tires and replacing tire pressure sensors. Last month they fixed my annoying tire pressure light which keeps flashing when I drive my car. The repair person was very professional as was the receptionist who attended to me to make appointments. The wait for service was rather long at times, hence 4 stars. If you want faster service make sure to make appointments online ahead of time. read more

Called corporate & they credited my credit card back to compensate me for them having wasted my time. Home Depot does the same thing. This review is for the Vision Center. This was my second time shopping here. The first time was about two years ago when I got an eye exam and bought my first pair of glasses in years. The service back then was top notch, and things were even better the second time around. This time, I came in for another eye exam, to get contact lenses. I haven't worn contacts in several years, and was a little nervous about it. My initial exam was with Stephanie Munoz. Stephanie ran all of my tests and was super easy to work with and very personable. She made everything easy and quick. She ran all of the machine tests and even helped me with instructions on how to put in and take out my contacts. I couldn't have asked for better service. After working with Stephanie, I met with Dr. Giap Le. Dr. Le was very thorough in testing my vision and discussing all of my options. He answered all of my questions and gave very clear answers, addressing all of my concerns. I was skeptical coming since I had bad experiences with other eye exams, but Dr. Le was incredible and made sure I was comfortable and educated in the whole process. I am so glad I came to the Walmart Vision Center to get my exam. The whole team is top notch. Also, thank you to Hannah who helped me pick out my glasses and to a couple other employees who helped me when I picked up my contacts and glasses a week later. Highly recommended! read more

The WORST!!! Walmart has once again proven how horrible of a company in general they are!! Bought some bath products, unfortunately I fell ok and unable to venture out for a few months. Coming back to the store to return products WITH receipt and they would not honor it!! Even with receipt showing I paid full price they only wanted to give me 10% of the value. A receipt totaling around $85, they wanted to give me $9 back. I will NEVER shop at a Walmart again!!!
