They are so helpful here i haven't been to this store in so long. But wanted a new throw blanket i found a really cute Halloween one. White with pink skulls lol!! I love it. I personally feel this is the type of store that doesn't care what kind of reviews they receive, but I still wanted to share my experience. This Marshall's used to be great, the last few years it's really gone down hill. I took my grandmother shopping this morning, and we couldn't get her wheelchair through any of the aisles. They aren't wide enough. The store is so cluttered and dirty! Overfilled racks with stuff everywhere. So many clothes and items all over the floor, people stepping all over everything. We ended up leaving because it wasn't even shop-able. Clean your dang store!!!!! read more

Such a great store and in a great location. I would suggest to go early because it does get crowded and busy. There was so much inventory when I went. You can tell they are ready for the holidays. Store wasn't too messy since it is still early and the lines were also great. They have a huge area for one of a kind gifts for your children and rest of your family. I found some cool puzzles for my friends that like a challenge. Designs I haven't seen anywhere else and at a price I could afford. Don't get too flustered because there are a lot to choose from. My cashier was super nice and very helpful. She was sweet and had a conversation with us and I wish I got her name! Marshall's is located in the Placentia Town Center off of Yorba Linda Blvd and Kraemer. It's easy to locate and access and parking is plentiful. Marshall's is a fun place where you tend to find things that you didn't even know you "needed" It's great to get all kinds of seasonal items ranging from serving pieces to gift wrap to decorative pieces. I love getting my dogs' toys here. Just like seasonal home decor, seasonally themed dog toys are reasonably priced, fun, and festive. Lately I've also found some great deals on quality outfits for the grandkids. Pretty much everything from socks to PJs to jackets in a wide variety of styles and colors can be found. Check out is formed in one line that opens to a counter with somewhere near 8 cashiers. Pretty decent looking Marshall's location. Kind of a huge store, but there's good staff that will help you if you're looking for something specific. This store is a bit on the messy side, so it's like a scavenger hunt and will take you at least an hour or so, to go through the different sections of the store. Did get to use the restroom here, not a super closely managed restroom, but it gets the job done. Parking is also widely available here. read more

The large female manager with glasses is insanely rude to her staff and guests. She actively was talking poorly about a guest to her staff where I could hear and the guest she was talking about could hear. You could tell her staff was uncomfortable and they are scared of her. So sad to have leadership that doesn't care about the guest or her staff. Also she lacks ownership of her store. The isles are filled with racks, carts and go back boxes all over the floor. Incredibly hard to get around imagine a handicap person or a mom with a stroller trying to get around the store. read more

Store was messy/ aisle were very narrow in the clothing section, I could barely push thru with my cart without knocking things down... makes it hard to shop here! Had an item I was buying with a $3.00 clearance price tag. The cashier went a made a new price tag of $13.00 and said nothing about the price change. I checked out didn't catch it until I got home. I peeled up the new sticker and sat there was no way the origional one was $13.00 because the spacing was off so it said $3.00 originally. Called and went back to get a price change the next day. I get there and the lady tells me that it was supposed to be $13.00 if you look at some code on the bottom with a bunch of numbers. Only an employee would know this. And wouldn't change the price only allow a return on them. $13 made these baby shoes the same as other full price ones. Not a clearance price. It was unprofessional in my opinion to change the price and not be upfront about it. Then to return assuming they would honor the actual tag as it was stated on the phone and have them not do it when I came in and made a second trip didn't seem right. read more

I picked up my prescription and walked to Marshall's to buy a white shirts. Then I left my prescription on counter while paying. They called me same day, but I didn't pickup the phone because I didn't recognize the number and didn't check the message either. Next day, CVS called me to pick up my prescription. Marshall's employee walked to CVS and handed my prescription so they can notify me. I don't know who that was, but THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GOING EXTRA MILES FOR YOUR CUSTOMER!!! Really appreciated. Marhall's Yorba Linda is one of the more neat and organized Marshall's I've visited. They always have great shoe collection and their home goods section has clear aisles and shelves that aren't overly cluttered with random items. There's hardly ever a live when I visit and the employees are all pleasant. I'd recommend stopping in for clothes, home goods, gifts, gift bags and cards and decorations. read more

I would give a 0 star if i could. I came to buy these all cotton underwear. Well the first wash the elastic was completely damaged. They wouldn't take them back because they said they were washed. How am I supposed to wear unwashed underwear and how am I supposed to know after the first wash they were going to be damaged. I even had my receipt!!! Don't waste your money here. I have come to really enjoy shopping at this store over the years and shop here often. However, I'm going to have to take my business to a different location. Generally I find the store well stocked with such a wide variety of items. I also consistently feel that the people that check you out at the end are friendly. I felt compelled to write this review because I was completely appalled at something I experienced after I spent $50 at check out and was on my way out of the store. I politely asked a lady at the sanitizing station for one of them moist sanitizing towelettes they had sitting in a container.After spending $50 in the store during during a PANDEMIC -with our county still in the purple tier- I was refused ONE single moist sanitizing towelette. She directed me to use the automatic liquid sanitizing device stationed outside the store. I tried to use that and it hardly shot out anything at all. I put my hand under 4 or 5 times and I don't think I ever ended up with more than an 8th of a teaspoon of sanitizing liquid. Appalling. read more

Then turn another way and you'll find home furnishing. A whole mini mall into one shopping store with name brands. All of this at slashed prices. Must need to gone in with a goal or budget. I was told by management I couldn't accompany my 5 year old daughter into the dressing room to try on her back to school clothes. We were instructed to purchase all the different size, go home try the on and then return the items that don't fit. As a single father I find this to be ridiculous. These are closed private dressing rooms separated with walls and doors. It's not an open area where everyone changes together. Meanwhile when she has to go the bathroom I can accompany her in there no problem and there is no difference between a stall in the women's bathroom and the women's dressing room.. if anything there is more privacy in the women's dressing room. The child should go to their respective sex's changing room and the parent accompanying then should not be discriminated against. This was unfair and embarrassing. Also what if the parent couldn't Atroons to buy 3 sizes of every outfit and then return the ones that didn't fit. It is ridiculous. I will not be returning to Marshalls again. read more

This store is always one of my favorites. The stock selection is always decent and the store is fairly clean. That being said, their makeup selection is a disaster. There are broken pieces of makeup all over and open items all over the place. I recently went and picked up a makeup palette only to find that the mirror was shattered. Have never had an issue at any other Marshall's/tjmaxx/homegoods location. Went in to return an item I had lost the receipt for. Had no issues & then heard one of the associates making an under breath comment towards the associate helping me. All of a sudden I was told I was not allowed to do the return without receipt for store credit because an item was from a certain department. Never heard of that before, I even worked for the company & that was never a policy, wasn't on their website or in store listing in the return policy either. Called another location, explained what I had been told by the associates at this location. They said that wasn't in their store policy & they would be happy to return my item for store credit. They were overly apologetic for this locations "policy" towards me. Received a full credit refund from a different location. Will not be back to the Placentia location. read more

Who doesn't love scoring a bargain on that item of clothing that fits us perfectly and makes us look like a million bucks? Much of the time, you have to brave overstuffed racks of clothing not well organized by size and often have to check the items over carefully for rips, tears, missing buttons, or stains. Not at Marshall's. Everything here is beautifully merchandised. This store feels like a regular department store, not a bargain basement shopping experience. The shoe department is chock full of well known and beautifully displayed brand names such as Coach, Bandolino, Lucky Brand, Ralph Lauren, Steve Madden, and Ann Klein. There was a wide variety of sizes available in each shoe. There was also a good selection of athletic shoes by Saucony, New Balance, and Reebock. I spent quite a bit of time in their housewares department which has a wonderful selection of items. I purchased a large Calphalon stock pot to match the set I have at home. It had a price tag on it that said to compare the item at $70. Doubting this comparison I looked it up on Amazon and other sites and the cheapest price I came up with was $95. I can tell you I was pretty happy with the deals I got. I ended up with a scarf and several other items, too. This Marshall's store seems far more upscale than the Ross next door. Here, the employees greeted me as they passed in aisles and the checkout girl was friendly and bubbly. Definitely a great shopping experience. read more

I bought some sheets at Marshall's in Tustin last night. I tried the sheets out to find out that they were too small. The next day I went to the placenta location to exchange them since I figured they may have a better selection. Sergio the manager refused to exchange them for me. He claimed that I stained them and made me take them all the way back to Tustin. Poor customer service and not at all understanding what so ever. He seemed to be on the defense the min I walked up to the register. It's time for new MGMT Marshall's this guy is trouble for your reputation unless this is what your going for.
