This Macy's store is very large, super clean, and fully stocked. I did not notice a single empty shelf, cabinet, display case, or even an empty hanger during the entire time my wife and I visited this store. GREAT job to the employees for keeping inventory out and available for customers. Many items were marked down, which helps make shopping here a positive experience for customers by giving them more value for their buck. Makeup haul!!!! I went to this Macy's to grab some makeup. Every year or so, I go on makeup hauls to replace the makeup that I have. I think it's good to do that because bacteria hides in your makeup. Even if you clean your brushes and sponges, there's still hidden bacteria creeping around. So, to combat that- I buy new makeup periodically. This time, I was on the hunt for a face foundation, eyelash and eyebrow makeup. I found all of that and more at Macy's. It took everything in my power to avoid the MAC counter lolol I'm such a MAC girlie lol Well, in the past I was. Now I opt for makeup that has some anti-aging qualities. I had just played 18 holes of mini golf and did a lot of walking at Disneyland resort and stopped by to pick-up my pants when I saw they had curbside pick-up parking. I parked and used the app to notify someone I was at the parking lot. Someone came out but wasn't sure which number I was in. Instead of knocking on my window and asking to see a conformation e-mail, they just went back inside. I later found out they tried to call me, but the phone number I had on file was outdated. My review is for the Lancome Counter on May 2nd. Anette and one other lady (I didn't catch her name) helped my mom and I. They were able to find the perfect Foundation match for my mom. And the other lady also helped me find a replacement lipstick for the color that I used to have that got discontinued. They gave such excellent customer service and informed us of deals coming up so we can come back and know about them. I loved the bunny desert plates and salt and spice shaker in my friend house and she told me she bought it from Brea Macy's. While It was the last day of keeping Easter decoration in home I was sure I can get them in Last Act of Brea's Macys. So, i was right! such a bargain! %75 off! The best value that I was able to pay for this cute products! I ended up paying $16 for two pieces of my favorite item. The Home Store is a nice location, with clothing on the first floor (Children's and Men's) and furnishings, and home goods on the second. The big problem is service, or lack thereof. The phone number that Macy's has listed on its receipts, as well as on the internet, and on YELP -the 714-990-1400 NO LONGER WORKS. I don't think they take phone calls at their present location, and most likely all the operators were let go. Instead, you have to call Macy's Customer Service, which is 888 822 6229. The hours are 8 AM - 10 PM Eastern. Macy's should get with it and change the number on the receipt, as well as on the internet. It's ridiculous for a company to hide like this, when they are in plain sight. read more

I will say Rita the salesperson was Great and tried to do all she could to get us through this bad experience but other than that it has been an ongoing train wreck So her ya go , going back several months we purchased a bedroom set It was sent out the 1st time and the driver was not willing to bring up the 2-dressers said he needed 3 guys this was an outside logistics company so they took them back the next the furniture was brought back and several of the drawers were jammed so they had to come back and pick it up Long story short this went on several more times with furniture that was defective the same driver not willing to bring it upstairs , they said they would fix it but never did and decided to just return everything with a FULL refund including the shipping cost We have been waiting over 2-weeks for our refund and have only got partial they billed each piece separate? I bought a five pack of miscellaneous suits from Macy's online but they were not the correct size for me. They were all one size too small. I also brought my sports jacket that was shipped out way too small! Not even close to the size I ordered. Seems to be a common issue when ordering suits online. Read the reviews. Many of them complain about the same thing. I get to the mens suit department and unbox all the returns that I brought back. Ling, the sales lady was so pushy! Sorry, I don't remember which credit card I used to buy my suits! Chill out! You asked me three times! WTH! All the sales info is on my Macy's app anyway. Do your job, be patient with your customer. I'm not the only one complaining about the suit sizes. Due to the items being returned, of course she mentions that the Macy's cash earned will be rescinded. At least she was kind enough to measure my suit jacket size. I told her that according to the Macy's size guide that I was between a regular and a long. Horrible service In the shoe department. I was in line waiting to ask for my size, the employee Tim was extremely rude when it was my turn he ignored me at the register and got stuck on his device after 2 minutes he finally asked what he could help me with I asked for a size and I sat down to wait 5mins passed and he came out from the back with the shoes the person behind me asked for but without my shoes and didn't even notify me that someone was looking for them. furniture buyers beware i purchased a pair of recliners, they came defective, drivers would not take them back immediately. another set was delivered, also defective, i refused the order and both sets were sent back immediately, begrudgingly by the delivery drivers. now to get a refund you have to talk to china, can't understand, takes over two weeks to get a refund, after multiple calls. dont buy any furniture from macys, this is their policy, besides endless time on the phone with people you cant understand. took an hour to wait on hold to get a supervisor plus even with defective merchandise you will not get a refund on the delivery, even if it is their fault. they only give you three day to decide if the product is satisfactory, so dont wait, dont buy from macys. horrible experiece. read more

First time user with Macy's personal stylist. I got paired with David Dunningham. He is a kind, warm-hearted, and knowledgeable. He asked about some styles that I wear, some colors that I like and whether I like stripes or not. After couple minutes, he picked some clothes and jeans, and I was surprised about his choices. It looks good on me! I spent around $700 for the clothes. After I was satisfied with the purchase of the clothes, I asked him if he could assist me more in picking fragrance for myself and some gifts for my parents. He recommended some Estée Lauder serums with the help of Amanda? I'm not quite sure her name, but she was kind and pretty cute. I spent around $650 for the 3 serums. It was 2 of the $120 and 1 of the Estée Lauder re-nutriv ? After that, David recommended getting watches for my dad. He asked Marco? Marcos? The guy at the watches counter to help me. Marcos showed me some of the Bulova's watches and some of the Tissot's watches. I narrowed it down to 3 watches that I like. Since I couldn't decide which one should I pick, I asked David's opinion on it. He gladly offers his opinion and I go with his choice. I Spent around $500 for the Bulova watch. I didn't expect I was going to spend around $2k today, I was thinking to spend around $500 or so. But I was pretty happy with the purchase today. During the 2024 Thanksgiving Macy's sale, I bought 3 rugs from their rugs department. I was asked by the salesman if I would also like to purchase rug pads for my rugs he then proceeded to show what the rug pad which was half an inch looks and felt like and I decided to buy the 3 rugs and the 3 rug pads. I picked up the rug pads in boxes from the Macy's store and the rugs were shipped to me. After receiving one of the shipped rugs, I proceeded to install it along with one of the rug pads that I bought at Macy's in my daughter's room and noticed that the rug pad that was sold to me was not the same half inches one that was shone to me when I bought the rug but a much thinner one. I went back to Macy's Brea mall store and asked the same salesman that sold the rugs and pads to me why the difference. He acknowledged the difference in the rug pad. And told me that unfortunately that was the rug pad that was provided to the store, I presumed at that moment that he knew exactly what he was selling me. I told him that I was charged for the rug purported to be half inch but was a quarter inch, which I could have purchased for less that I considered what he did to be fraud! I told him I wanted the difference in cost back. He said he will call his general manager to see if he can refund the difference. He came back and said per his general manager that he can't give me a refund for the difference in price since I have cut one of the rug pads but will give me refunds for the other 2 rug pads, which he did. I asked to talk to the Macy's store manager who was very pleasant and explained to me that the rug space at the store was leased out to the rugs vendor and Macy's has no control over what they do. She proceeded to give me a $50 gift certificate to cover the difference of the rug pad that was sold to me as half inch when it was actually quarter inch. So buyer beware! I gave 3 stars to Macy's because I think they should have better control of the activities of their store tenants. read more

Just tried to return a handbag that was a Christmas gift. After 3 1/2 months of use, it is falling apart. Two different associates told me they couldn't accept the return since 1) it was over 30 days, 2) I didn't have the original credit card (it was a gift!), and 3) the purse had been used and was missing the tags (no kidding). I asked one person for help and she pointed me to an area that didn't look like it would have those, so I reconfirmed, and walked over. I turned around and she had disappeared. She was clearly I long term employee. Then I found another lady who walked over with me to search, but she seemed newer and was unable to find anything. I ended up finding some of what I needed.
