Lisa, you are incredible. Don't know how you can handle a line almost to the back of the store and have us out the door in record time. You are gracious, warm and greet everyone with a smile. We joked when I found the delicious smelling chocolate candle that it smelled good enough to eat and that you loved chocolate. I think everyone should gift you chocolate for getting them out quickly read more

This is a really nice Dollar Tree. It seems larger than other locations. They had several employees stocking shelves. The store was clean. Check out was quick, they had three registers open. This is a well organized store. There was plenty of parking too. read more

I love this Dollar Tree, I like to stop in often. They always have what I need, my daughter and I love to do art together so we get some of our art stuff here and random things for the house. This store is always clean and all the workers here are always so friendly and helpful! Probably one of my favorite locations for dollar tree. I would definitely recommend this store. A lot of the cleaning products are amazing too. I love the Holiday stuff of course. And the candy addiction I may have lol. Have a beautiful day! Plenty of parking available. Popped in to get a few last-minute items. The store was clean and had the usual inventory like any other Dollar Tree store. I was happy to find what I was looking for. Employee was friendly and fast at the checkout. read more

You can always find a good deal at Dollar Tree! They have something for everyone, kids, pets, household, cleaning, automotive, school, food, groceries, clothes, beauty, snacks, and especially seasonal items for each holiday! They literally have the darnest cutest things for fall, very similar to items you can find at target or walmart but for cheaper! Very decorative items. What really caught my eye the most are both glass and plastic jars for organization or decor. Tons and tons of cheap alternatives for organization needs! And always find something for the kitchen, whether its dinnerware, cookware, or storage! read more

Stopped in for some birthday balloons but ended up with a bunch of other stuff i really didnt need. This place looked it was a newer store opening but not too sure about that. First, i had to wait for one of the cashiers to pull out several balloons that were already filled which took about a good ten minutes. So i get about 10 and make the purchase. This cashier was obviously not a people person and had zero personality. So after she helped pull my bouquet i paid at another cashier because the one that helped me went on to assist another cudtomer. This other cashier (male this time) also very bland and doesn't know how to greet customers. Ok, whatever...seems to be the norm nowadays but i paid and went to put them in the car. Then i decided to pick up a couple other things while i was there so i got my Dollar Tree bags from the trunk and marched back in there. Shopped around and noticed this big store didnt really have full shelves of product. Several isles had empty shelves so i got what i needed, and then some. Went back in line to the same boring guy and after bagging my own stuff into my own bags that i brought in myself i paid and went on my merry way. I get home and glanced at my receipt only to notice this idiot charged me for my own bags!! RIPOFF!!! WHAT A PUNK! If i didnt live so far i would have gone back to collect my 40 cents after making a big scene of course! How dare they make money off of me by stealing. Yes, i know its my fault for not checking the receipt before leaving but im always hurrying so as not to hold up the line. That costs me every time. Dollar Tree needs to tell train them how to do their job. I would say to also teach customer service but thst has fallen by the wayside. Its almost unheard of nowadays...sadly. ugh!!! read more

This is a bigger store from the one's I have gone to. It's located in a strip mall and there's lots of parking. The racks were not ransacked randomly as maybe you've seen in other stores. Prices varies so more of a dollar tree branching sort of kinda price range. It's one of the better dollar tree stores I've been. read more

I have met the most tremendous and beautiful employee here by the name of Nikayla. It is just the most amazing thing when people smile and greet you in the most nonchalant places. I've never seen the film A Quiet Place, but this Dollar Tree is exactly that. The lighting doesn't help either as it's not brightly lit inside and I almost fell asleep looking for stuff here. I think there was probably 4 people total in the store the night I went in. I've been to a few Dollar Tree's and this one was the most neat and organized. I was on the hunt for coconut milk and recalled finding this at Dollar Tree in Santa Ana and found it here as well. If I could give less then a star I would.... I shop at this location on a weekly basis. Mostly for craft and holiday decorations. I have never had a problem with exchanging anything and have never been asked for a receipt. (At this location or at the yorba linda or Fullerton location) today they asked me and I didn't have one.... Instead of being respectful about explaining that they need it, the "assistant manager" claimed that they always need a receipt and that I could have never exchanged anything with out one. She was so rude and full of attitude. She basically accused me of losing and raised her voice in front of other guests in line. The way this "assistant manager" spoke to me was unbelievable. Not management material at all. I will never shop at this Placentia location again. read more

It's amazing how many great things you can find in this store for a dollar while they are so much more expensive everywhere else! You can get a majority of your everyday items here and save so much money. They have a huge variety of items across the whole store, and they manage to keep it clean and organized. There are rarely things strewn on the floor and the employees do a great job helping you out. I'll continue to come here whenever I'm looking to buy something and I don't want to break the bank. read more

I love coming here with my oldest daughter. We can spend over an hour looking at every little thing from cleaning supplies and glassware to trinkets and toys. They have the cutest stuff! Yesterday we bought a bunch of stocking stuffers and little gift items. We plan on making gift baskets (like we saw on the Dollar Tree website) to give to the needy kids at a holiday fundraiser we're going to. Great idea when you're on a budget! At first I thought it wasn't going to pan out well, giving dollar items to until my daughter started putting items together. I'm sure the kids are going to love them! The store is really clean and tidy compared to other locations. It was well organized and fairly busy when we went. Most Dollar Trees have the worst employees, so rude, lifeless and not wanting to help me. The same goes for this location. One guy, who I see all the time, always spreads his misery to us. I say, if you hate working there so much, then leave. However, yesterday we had a totally different type of cashier. He immediately greeted us with a smile when we came in, while busy at the register. Then during checkout, the line was really long. No other employee came to help open another checkout. He remained pleasant and polite, and carried a positive attitude while ringing up and bagging our items, while still greetings customers - something other employees should learn! Overall it's a great store, so give it a chance. They have a ton of holiday items for only a dollar!!! You best bet I'll be back again! read more

Almost always find something great in this store. It is small but mighty. This location has the first couple of aisles packed with seasonal/holiday items-BUT you need to plan ahead because as the actual holiday approaches, they sell out fast. This morning the checkout line was pretty long almost the entire time I shopped but the cashier (David) stayed calm and kept it moving until another employee came out to assist by opening another line. I appreciated his friendly attitude and overheard his great work ethic - staying after shift to help unload a delivery truck - give this kid a raise! Glad this store is near. read more

I went into the Dollar Tree on Placentia today and heard the manager yelling at the cashier. He would not stop yelling at her. Not sure why he was yelling but he treated her horribly. So disrespectful! There were about twelve people in line and when someone asked if they can open another register he yelled back at the customer saying "he was on lunch and the law says he has to take lunch so no he can't open another register" but instead of walking away to go have lunch he chose to stay at the register and yell at the poor cashier and chose not to open another line to help the customers. At one point he started walking away but went back to yell at her some more. Sisco was the most ugliest disrespectful person I have ever seen to treat an employee like that in front of customers. And he's the manager? I don't understand how he can treat someone so awful! I really hope the cashier reported the incident. He really shouldn't be managing anyone...he doesn't know how to deal with people. read more

Very disappointed at this location. TERRIBLE costumer service. Cashier was being very rude and disrespectful towards my mother today. My mother entered to purchase balloons and was standing there waiting to be helped (and asked nicely several times) the cashier then helped SEVERAL costumers that walked in, shopped, then checked out before my mother who was there before. And continued to ignore her with a terrible attitude. Once the cashier finished helping tons of costumers that came in after my mom which was about 15-20 mins later she came and was being even more disrespectful, rude, snappy, and did not care to help. This location needs to train their young careless workers to treat everyone equally with respect and dignity. Actions like this should not happen to any costumer. Helping costumers and satisfying their needs with the right help should remain your main goal. What a shame!! read more

I love shopping at Dollar Tree stores, and I visit different Dollar Tree stores every week to buy crafts. This Placentia location is not worth to visit. You will be very disappointed with this store because they have almost nothing! Lots of their shelves are empty yet they rarely restock. They rarely bring new items that other Dollar Tree stores carry especially office supply, paper crafts, stickers... literally there's nothing at this location! The store manager and staffs don't seem to really care about their business. When i asked them where i could find washi tapes, the manager said, the washi/deco tape were seasonal products which were discontinued. But it was actually new items, and they had in the store! So the manager didn't even know what her store had. read more
