This is a review on the customer service I received over the phone. It was basically non-existent. I called to check to see if they had a specific Sterilite storage bin in stock, and this is how the exchange went. Walmart employee: Hello Me: Hello. I'm calling to see if you have a specific item in stock. I have the item number - can you please check for me? Walmart employee: We don't have it. Me: What do you mean? You don't even know what I am looking for. WE: Well I can't check for you. I don't have a computer Me: Are you serious? Well can you transfer me to someone who can help me? WE: Hangs up. REALLY?????? This Walmart is ALWAYS picked over and the shelves are a complete mess. I would say 9 times out of 10 I can't find what I'm looking for and it's usually because the item hasn't been restocked. It's as if no one ever checks inventory or bothers to keep shelves organized. I want to love this Walmart since this location is so convenient for me, but I'm always very disappointed by and frustrated with my experience here. read more

Terrible Wal Mart. This place needs an extreme makeover. It's dirty, unorganized, and there is always only few lanes open to check out in while the lines are very long. Walked into electronics debt looking for a neckstrap for my new phone and employees scurried around pretending to be busy but no customers were in there , I looked all over the store and I must say what a very messy unorganized store this is with unresponsive employees except for one that was working cleaning in the jewelry dept, I wish I caught her name but she was the only one that was helpfull and ask me for help. But all in all still no neckstrap. its kinda weird not being acknowledged in a electronics department that has alot of high priced items, thats were my salesmanship would shine but i dont work there. read more

I'd like to meet the flunkie manager of this place and slap him like the lazy idiot that he is. 2 registers open, lines all the way back to the clothing. Then suddenly one cashier walks to the back of her line and picks a random person and says "this is my last customer, right here". So now all the people behind that person are screwed and have to wait in the other line. Oh wait, now another register is opening. Another clusterfuck as everyone shuffles over. The line that I'm in hasn't moved in 5 minutes because there is some issue with payment and the cashier doesn't speak Spanish and can't explain it to the customer (sad, isn't it?). Everyone is mumbling to themselves about the manager and his absence in this situation. I put my items down and walked out. I'll go to Target from now on instead. Aside from this incident, this store sucks. Shelves constantly in disarray, bad inventory control, general lack of care by employees, but I'm sure it starts with bad management. I come to this walmart almost every weekend, and i enjoy every experience accept for the simple fact that THERE IS NO ONE ON THE REGISTURES!!!!!!!! Drives me crazy, you have 17 lanes and only 3 people are working??? kills me everytime, makes me not want to even walk in there. I had a bad altercation with a lady that was working in the jewlery department, refused to notice me when i wanted to buy a pair of errings and when i tried to get her attention she was like " one min im busy". The F*ck you got a bad attitude for, like your next best thing, relllllllaxxxxx, idk who made you think your worthy of your attitude but your not. If I could give no stars I would. Ordered my daughter contacts and went three days in a row and they keep saying that they cannot sell to me because they have no license. Called to speak to the manager and they wouldn't even get on the phone. Costco is cheaper and I have never had a problem. This place is a joke. read more

As far as Walmarts go they are all visually the same. But sometimes you find a store that is well stocked, good selections and great check out service. I hit the trifecta tonight. Found everything on my list. Found a great sweater in my size. And had a very nice young man named Bryan as a cashier. Very pleasant and super efficient. Plus a cool ponytail. read more

I just visited the optical center and have never had such great service! I worked with Dan and Arthur to order some new frames. Not only did they save me $70 but they were very prompt, professional and they showed how much they care about the patients and not just money. Because of them I will be returning everytime I need glasses or have an eye need. Dan and Arthur really deserve a promotion or some recognition for being phenomenal eye techs. read more

Place is a joke, I waited 20 minutes to pick up an item I ordered online. It took 15 minutes before anyone even helped me. I called the store to speed this up but that didn't help. The rudest night employees. We went to get cat food 8 minutes before they closed and on are way to the resisters the store just closed and was finishing up ringing up people. I had this young employee come up to me and my wife and say we are closed you have to leave and wouldn't even let us buy the cat food in are cart even though there was over 20 customers still in the store ringing things up. This used to be my first choice when getting baby stuff or cheap sneakers. Not only is EVERYTHING made in China there, but they hire employees who don't speak a freakin word of English. NOT ONE! I asked her where something was and she just stared at me like I had shit on my face. So I started loosing my patience and asked the manager of that department. Not only was she rude, but she also refused to look for the item that I desperately needed that day. As if Walmart couldn't get any lower, this was just like fucking WOW. There is no maintenance crew. I was looking in the pet food isle and someone actually let their kid piss on the floor right in the middle of the place. I told an employee about this and they just said "it happens, ill get someone to clean it up'. You'll get someone?? How about YOU get a fucking mop and do your job! Lazy lazy lazy! Jumped in to buy money order, was waiting 15 minutes in line, my whole lunch break. Try to avoid this place

Every time I go the shelves are empty. They would sell more if they stocked inventory. It's not like they ran out that day. I could go back a week later and the same items are not available. I'm talking basic stuff, i.e., men's socks, a light for my wife's bike, etc. And the employees do the best they can with what they're equipped with if you get my drift. They SUCK! Went there at 9:00 p.m. Black Friday to buy a StraightTalk phone on sale. Flyer said guarantee to have for first hour. Waited four hours iin the cold and snow to get in. They didn't have any . Was told they never coming in. Spoke to a supervisor then the store manager to see if I could get a rain check or a substitute, I was told no in both cases. I go to subway a lot and I will never go to the subway again in Walmart in danvers. They up the points to get a sandwich which I didn't know until I gave them my card and would not let me leave until I paid so I called my wife gave them my ATM card number and paid the full amount and left the sandwich and the card. I love this Wal-Mart. This is not a superstore, and they tend to be better, but it is way ahead of the Wal-marts in Lynn and Salem, MA. A lot of the prices are so shockingly cheap that you can't believe them. I remember when they first opened, they stocked a lot of things that sell poorly in left-wing metrosexual Massachusetts-guns, bibles, and straw hats (the only acceptable thing to have on your head here is an expensive baseball cap). The first few times you go to Wal-Mart, you have trouble finding things, but then you get the hang of where things are. Note to you naive shoppers out there- retail stores don't want you to find things to quickly-they would prefer you to wander a bit and pass a lot of marchendise that you might then buy on impulse. Best bets- basic men's clothes, hardware, housewares, furniture, jewelry, toys, sporting goods, and pets. Worst bets- books-limited selection, groceries- limited selection. read more

The people who work at the Vision Center in the Danvers Walmart are the most incompetent and rudest I have come across in a long while. I had prescription lenses put into a new pair of very expensive frames bought elsewhere. I went to pick them up after receiving a call they were ready - 7 days later - and couldn't see out of them. not Walmart's fault - I had received a wrong presciption from the Opthomologist I visited elsewhere. Went back to the Doctor and received right prescition. Kelly, from the vision center, said Walmart would correct them "free of charge" within 90 days. Brought the glasses back to Walmart - another 8 days later I went to pick them up. They tried to pass the old, incorrect script off on me then would not give me a refund without my receipt even though they had all the records in their computer. since this happened, I have heard similar stories. Stick with the real vision places - forget about Walmart Vision Center. You'll be sorry! By the way, the people that work in the vsion center dress and behave far from the professionals you exppect. I ordered one 8x10 photo online through the 1 hour option. Before I left my house I tried calling the photo center to confirm. I kept getting redirected to he regular store phone and then the man there would redirect me to the photo center where the phone would ring endlessly for six minutes and then hang up on me. I had gotten a confirmation email and went to the store to pick it up and they had no idea what I was talking about. The woman then found my order and said 3 people were ahead of me and the picture would be ready in 15 minutes. I walked around and came back and still no photo was printed. I then proceeded to wait for an hour without any indication as to when my photo would be printed. Then after all this time, the woman tells me the machine is broken and she doesn't know how to fix it and would I come back tomorrow? I asked if I would get an email or a call letting me know it was ready and she said no. I will never come back here again the service and communication was terrible. read more

customer service and cleanliness stink! not only did I find trash throughout the store (subway wrappers, coffee cups, ripped apart products etc.) but I was less thrilled with customer service. I know how crazy walmarts are and rarely shop here but we ended up at one to buy a cheap bookshelf. we lost our shopping cart at the beginning of the store (aka we ditched it when we could barely move around people and aisles with one) so when we did grab a book shelf we thought uh oh better find a new one... we ended up finding an abandoned shopping cart full of trash. we cleaned out most of it out aside from scattered brand new Ziploc bags..someone must have opened a box. when we got to the register the cashier Susan was so rude about it. she accused us of doing it and told us we needed to leave the cart at her register..not even offering to get a new one leaving us to carry the (heavy) bookshelf out of the store ourselves. mind you there was noone in line behind us it's not like it was super busy. it wasn't a big deal but what bothered me the most, so much so that I'm writing this review, is that when I said thank you before leaving she responded with a short and rude "yup." um excuse me! that is not customer service!
