Late in the season I had to call around to local nurseries in Brunswick County to try and find native milkweed for some hungry monarch caterpillars as they had eaten mine down to the stalk. Shelton Herb Farm had some available but not enough to feed the eating machines that are the monarch cats. Their solution....bring the caterpillars I had to their farm and let them free feed in their milkweed field. This was the kindest offer and literally a life saver. Such thoughtful customer service and so appreciated. Shelton Herb Farm is a charming nursery with a variety of herbs, native plants and garden tchotchkes. I can't wait to go in the spring to buy more milkweed!

Honestly I wasn't expecting much because the shop seems small, however upon walking in I was immediately proven wrong in my expectations. I am pretty sure the owner was there when I went in. He was extremely knowledgeable about the plants & was very kind. I had to go back a second time (even though I was only in town a few days) to get another look at the plants & buy a shirt to remember this gem! I felt as though the prices were very reasonable (and honestly less expensive than some of my favorite online nurseries!). It was very obvious to me that they source healthy and well established plants. If this shop was local to me, the owner/employees would be sick of me from coming so much! I ended up leaving with two plants, but if I could have I would've gotten so many more! My only complaint is that their online shop isn't as stocked as their in person shop, however that is hardly a complaint as going into the shop you can tell how well cared for their plants are!

The location can't be beat, with ample parking and just steps away from tons of other great small businesses in the Cargo District. One of the best things is how often they restock plants and pots--you'll always find something new and interesting with every visit. As a plant lover, that's what first drew me in. But as someone who also appreciates unique fashion and design, I've been blown away by their merch. The hats and shirts are not only high quality but also stylish and comfortable, perfectly fitting the vibe of the store. I could tell things were different, so I asked if there was new ownership or management. I was berated and called an a__hole. Then I was cussed at profusely. As I walked away, the previous owner Jason said "f___ you". I never once cussed or raised my voice,. In fact, I was stunned that anyone would treat a customer that way. After leaving, I called back and asked to speak to the new ownerand I was hung up on. I left this same review on their Facebook page, to which they replied that ".....the customer is not always right.....your actions dictated the response you received". For some reason, that review does not show on their Facebook page as of this moment.

Not only did this contractor do a horrible job and we had to hire someone else to fix it, but we also paid him for work he did not complete and never received a refund! He never returned our calls, texts or emails. I contacted Bianchi, explain the situation, and asked for help since the contractor was referred by them, but they declined to get involved. Given Bianchi's reputation, this was extremely disappointing! I do not recommend this company!!

The selection of flowers in the arrangement was amazing including hydrangeas, liatris, lilies etc. And the vase the flowers were placed in is beautiful. I have received bouquets from them for other occasions and they were always beautiful as well but this one for Mother's Day was exquisite. My son lives in NJ and when asked about a local florist I suggested Sweet Nectar. He has been using them for my birthday and Mother's Day for a few years now and the arrangements have never disappointed. I cannot recommend a florist more highly. I ordered "Mother's Day Flowers" from Sweet Nectar for my mom online & chose a beautiful bouquet & spent $113. The flowers that were delivered were NOTHING like what I ordered. When my sister called to let them know they were very nice & said they would fix it. They also, said they wanted the flowers back that they messed up on, very tacky & unprofessional. The new flowers were delivered the next day. The vase was correct & the colors were correct, but again nothing like what I ordered. Thank goodness my mom took pictures, so we could see what she got. Again, very disappointing. I've learned my lesson & will not be ordering from this establishment again.
