Never shopping here again. I only came here because they were the only one listed as having a specific office supply that I needed. turned out they didn't even have it. I ended up grabbing throw pillows for my office. I was going to grab a Gatorade on my way out since in every store in the entire universe, single serve drinks are kept by the registers. Not at Walmart. After asking three different employees who all looked at me like I was crazy for asking where the Gatorade was, I was finally told it was on aisle 16. that's 16 aisles away from the register, deep in the store, a perfect place for people to steal singles serve drinks... what a dumb layout. And employees who don't even know where drinks are. With my two pillows and my two Gatorade's, I checked out and attempted to leave the store. However the door Nazi, who takes his job way too seriously, decided he needed to hold me up because I didn't have my receipt out. My receipt for my two pillows and my two single serve Gatorade's. This isn't Costco. No one told me I needed to keep my receipt out in order to be let out the door. This guy is really trying to accuse me of stealing two pillows and two Gatorade's. with my own shopping bag? Who brings their own shopping bag to steal shit????I will never stop at Walmart again, online, in the store anywhere for any reason. Prices are very reasonable and the majority of the staff members are nice, but to be honest the place is a bit worn and decrepit. Not to say the store is dirty, but it does seem a bit neglected at times. It takes ages to get a staff member to unlock anything. And as half of the beauty supplies and cosmetics are on quarantine, this can be quite an issue. Also the most recent time their system was done, I was rather curtly informed of this by a stressed employee as I tried to make a return. I don't quite know how to describe it, but it's a place a come to with a full shopping list and end up leaving with a heavy heart and the harbinger of a migraine. If I can, I will drive make the drive to another Walmart instead of this location. This location is smaller and carries less of what all of the other locations I've been to carry. The associates never seem to care to help. Anytime I have a gift card, associates seem to not know how to apply the funds to my transaction. Maria at the checkout always rates the store 5 stars on the pin pad before customer even gets the chance to mark their selection (If it were me, I would score it a 1, maybe a 2). This store needs significant improvement, more associate support and training. read more

This is my favorite Walmart in the East Bay. Even though it was a Saturday, I didn't see a lot of shoppers. Yes, things are locked up, but the ladies who work here are quick to assist you. One lady was patient enough to listen to my bf go on and on about the special soap that he uses. It was the first time that I took a stroll in the store without worrying about people ramming their carts into my hip or foot, like in the store in San Leandro. I completed self check out paid all my items and I did use 2 bags that I forgot to add on. Aren't they checking for big items and making sure everything is scanned? Walmart's store pick-up system is very stupid. It doesn't account for people coming in early to pick up their item. The thing is, I made an order at 5:00 PM yesterday, and at least expected to the online order to be ready by the next morning (normally it takes 1-2 hours after placing the order). I get it's the holiday season, and online orders will be more prevalent than usual, but you can't be that backed up to not reach my order by next morning? I tried to time my oil change to when I thought the order would be ready, which is 8:30 - 9:30 AM. I'm not doing curbside pickup, so I don't need to have it ready by 11:00 AM. After dropping off my car at the oil change center, I went over to the store pickup center and asked the lady if I could have them fulfill and pick my order since I'm already here. They still couldn't do that because my order is in a "timeline"? So they can't go out of order and just fulfill my order? Other customers, when they receive their email to pick up their order, they may not pick up their item in the same order the item was in their "timeline"; they might pick it up the next day. Why not just fulfill my order since I'm here? Wouldn't it be better customer service if they just done that for me? If I knew that they would pull this BS, I would have stayed at home until the stupid order was fulfilled. read more

I came here to get an oil change with the fuel service. They had me wait 3 hours and when I started my car the following day my check engine light came on. I took it to Walmart in Stockton and I was told they didn't change the oil at all and the old oil filter was never replaced. They were rude, dismissive, and disrespectful at Livermore service and I'll be filing a complaint with Walmart corporate about this incident as the ppl in service should be fired for doing something like this and Walmart is liable for any damages my car incurred in result to this visit as well! Several of the Walmart employees I have spoken to are pleasant and helpful. But I always feel depressed in this store. From the cracked tar-covered concrete in the front, to the carts inside that are always stuck and take more muscle than I have to unlock, to the lackluster food bins and overall grocery choices, to the bland aisles that have no charm or connection, this place is downright dull and bleak. I try to only buy a few things and research the aisle number before entering the store so I can quickly move in and out. I always do self checkout because the checker lines are long. Just saying this place is pretty much 1960's shopping with more stuff everywhere, but no emotional connection. read more

Digna (I assume she's a manager but I doubt she would have answered if I asked) closed the store 5 minutes early and lied saying she "pulled the money" for the self checkout kiosks that, quite literally, only take card. She was completely insufferable and refused to let customers who came in well before close pay with cash, meaning they simply couldn't buy their items. Horrendous customer service and it looks horrible on Walmart that they'd let someone so incompetent be in any position. She also yelled at a man who uses a cane for leaning on a cart for stability. read more

Went in the store today to buy a few items. Was going to go through self check out when I was stopped by an employee saying that I was over the limit. Limit was 12 items and I had 14. I asked her OK if I put two back. Can I still come through the line. She told me no I would have to go get a regular checkout line. I get Walmart and mostly major grocers are starting to get rid of the self check out, however, if you're gonna do that staffing conditions need to greatly improve as of 130 when I was in the store there was only two checks open. Had four self check out and only two were being used. The customer service in the store is horrendous, and that is why Amazon is getting more of my business. read more

Saw an item I wanted while stopping to get a refreshing beverage for my puppy and myself since it was warm outside. I asked to purchase it as the price said 49.99, the cashier Singh rang it up and it came up as 74.99 (quite a difference in price). When I asked if there was something wrong he said no, so I asked for a manager. Someone who was covering their name tag came over and told me it was a different price on the shelf entirely (69.99, which was for an entirely separate item) they then refused to give me their name (I eventually got it that it was Silvia) who then got a person with no name tag who only identified herself as "Maria". This terrible excuse of a human being said I was recording their staff when I asked for the name tag so I could write it down and file a complaint with corporate later for the way they treated me then called security and the cops on me. I left without further incident but this place is pathetic. To treat ALL customers like criminals is pretty telling they wish they were somewhere else in life and want to abuse the small amount of power they have. The lady behind me even commented that I wasn't doing anything wrong and they were treating me poorly. Don't ever shop here. Remove this filth from our neighborhood. read more

Called before coming in to return unopened diapers from our baby shower. The lady who answered the phone CONFIRMED that we can return WITHOUT a limit. When we arrived we were told only up to $50 LIMIT. Then they all of a sudden they refused to take any of them - even the walmart brand with their OWN barcode. Didnt even try scanning anything at all. I get with all the looting they probably became more strict but at least LET ME KNOW before I bring in boxes of diapers and hold up the line! Drove all the way here for nothing. No one to open locked up shelves. No one on the floor had any interest in helping other than to say I need to push the red button which of course I had already done several times. After about 10 minutes I called the store to see if someone will come. No one answered the phone at the store. I decided to just to check out with the item I did have and was able to speak to the team lead. I told her the spiel I'm sure she's heard 1000 times which is I've been waiting X amount of time for someone to open the shelves and she said no one was there and that no one was there to answer the phone either. She thought my normal voice was a "screaming" voice when I asked her there's no one to answer the phone even? She put her hand up towards my face to say not to speak to her like that and that I was screaming, apparently which, of course I was not. I said don't do to my face like that and she told me to leave and never come back, so I dropped the item that was in my hand on the floor and proceeded to leave saying goodbye to the lovely gentleman that checks your receipt at the door. He is always sweet. She was pure attitude. And as I was leaving was still shouting "bye! Buh bye..." as I was saying my last goodbyes to the man at the front door. Needless to say she said leave and never come back so I will not come back no problem. read more

Less than zero for a rating because they never have the power shopping chairs charging... EVER! I even went to management and pleaded with them to please keep those checked because you are offering a service for the disabled only to come down and be turned away because the service you offer is not being taken care of. It seems that you are not in alignment with your ADA compliance, if you offer disability carts you must maintain them. I will never both to step foot in this Walmart again and I pray that corporate sees this along with the letter I sent them in regards to this matter because the current manager Christine doesn't seem to take it seriously regardless of how many times I've spoken with her. This used to be an okay store but the efforts to prevent theft make it useless. A lot of merchandise in locked up and the self checkout is only available for an annual fee. This would be okay if there were enough employees. But there's not anywhere enough service. I will go elsewhere in the future. I just spent 20 minutes standing in line to checkout! read more

Wonderful service and clean organized store. I was looking for a gas can and they had no more of the size I wanted. A woman from the auto department looked up the can and saw they had it in. On a hunch she escorted me across the store to the garden department where there were some left even at a reduced price. She went out of her way to help me. I like how clean and organized this store is compared to other Walmarts too. I've been coming here for years and always found who was looking for. Rudest staff Going off on me was a kid who I asked if we can use tire pressure gauge tester to determine which TPS gauges to swap out. He said It can only check 4. It was like an AI zombie. The head clerk told me to ease up he just doing his job ! Basically I have 5 tires one in the trunk want to make sure which one was tripping the light because all are at 34lbs , she wigged, he wigged out and I was embarrassed by their demeaning attitude towards me so I left went to other store and it was cheaper and more professional. I was over at the Vet getting meds for my dog when I noticed the Walmart. Thought, "need a few things, I'll just run in and grab them." Easy trip, drain cleaner, some wiper blades, hand soap refill, you know just normal stuff. After wandering around a while attempting to find soap refill I asked for directions. I didn't realize when she told me but "on the other side by cosmetics" is very vague. You have any does how big cosmetics is? So, long story short, I gave up, put my items on a random shelf and went out to Amazon the items in my truck. Sorry Walmart but if I can't find things I can't buy them. In this store, there are two outstanding employees - Lucy ( looks like oriental woman around the late 30 or the beginning of 40 and Richard ( An American tall guy who looks strong and big with small amount of white beard ). I saw that Lucy sometimes work as the person who double check customer's receipts. I also saw that they both work in the area on the left side of customers's entrance door. It's a waste of time. It makes sense to me that Walmart would eventually follow the same way as dinosaurs. As for the in-store pickup of online orders, there was no one available at the counter. That makes sense from the cost standpoint, but you (the customer) must first walk around the store looking for the store staff, ask them to call the appropriate person to the pickup counter, and wait around for such person to show up. It's about 10-15 minutes just to pick up your online order. In another instance, I just had to buy a bike tire tube. All bike accessories and parts were stored in a lock box. There is a button to call the associates - the *button* works, but the associates didn't. This is another case of 10-15 minutes wasted waiting around for Walmart associates. While I was waiting for someone to respond and come (surprise: no one came), I ordered the same item from another e-tailer and left. There is a need for Walmart to protect the store itself from the deplorable people who going about randomly opening product boxes; and the conflicting desire for normal customers to conveniently find and pay for a product, and leave. I find this pathetic, unfortunately. All in all, I walked out of the store thinking that I should not shop here. read more
