Be prepared to deal with mid-level management who are entirely incompetent or store management who either do not care about the behavior of their mid-level staff or are incompetent and combative themselves. This is a single store that is indicative of what will be the eventual demise of the company, doing nothing to raise the image Walmart has sunk to. Best Buy is across the street, target and Kohl's are within half a mile. All three provide a better shopping experience at essentially the same or better prices, particularly with the rollout of Walmart's dynamic pricing models. It has to be said, a company that for decades has blathered on about American values but doesn't even give the pretense of stocking American made goods over Chinese junk is a company that has sold its soul. Add to that the gross negligence of retaining a workforce almost wholly dependent on federal subsidies and welfare for subsistence, and it's easy to see that this company will never manage to survive. Would give a negative death stars. Had three glasses just for adjustment. Came back my transitions lenses scratched and blurry. Both employees of a failed existence was loud and rude screaming that they came like that trying to forced me into lying to cover their lack of professionalism and not knowing how to do their work. I told the young female that these are transitions after the fact but they should realized. Went to Walmart this morning did not have one register open only self checkout. Asked the cashier to check me out as I do not believe in self check out only in the store. I placed an order for eyeglasses. When I went to pick them up the order was all wrong. I made it clear what I wanted. The wrong lens was made. not put into the right frames now I have to wait for yet another seven days to get my glasses. I paid over $400.00 dollars and can't get an order right? This store is smaller than all others in the area. All aisles are very narrow and it's hard to get two carts down a row. They have tons of stuff for all your needs, if you can find them. I was able to secure what I needed, and checkout fairly quickly. read more

The Walmart stories vary somewhat from each other! If you shop at two like we do you will find variations between them! Some variation maybe different stocked herbs and vitamins to different products or brand names! super-centers for example may carry far more herbs and groceries than a standard Walmart store! Parking is usually plentiful and ever flexible to how close to the store you can park! Handicap parking is generally available but you may have along the front to hopefully find a spot! They could increase the number and include a section for expecting mothers Like I have seen in the south! Of Course more Handicap parking is needed too! Walmart prices and variety make it more special to most buyers! Their online buying usually offers lower prices and you can have it deliver to you home or to a Walmart store of your choice for you to pickup at your convenience! They are also good on returned items to for either money back or another item! Walmart stores often have a fast food restaurant for ordering take home or eating there! We have on occasion had to return an item and they have been friendly and helpful in customer service! We recommend shopping at one or two of your close Walmart such as this one! read more

Would give them one star if possible. I would never have purchased anything there if I knew that defective merchandise would not be eligible for a refund. I was told by the cashier it could be returned, but the service desk refused to do a refund and the online "help" desk said they couldn't access the order before promptly quoting the exact amount of the order, proving they weren't being truthful. I really really really wish this location would rearrange and expand into a layout similar to the one on Tusc. The store has never once been tidy when we've come, and is really hit or miss whether you'll find what you need. Shopping here has become more frustrating than what's necessary, so we just visit other stores in Belden and get just as good of pricing and usually a better selection. read more

Ah yes, Walmart. You pretty much know what you're getting into each time you shop here. The people watching will most certainly be entertaining! I recently tried purchasing a coffee maker at this particular store. The walmart.com website said the item was in stock. Upon my arrival I found that was not the case. My next option was using the ship to store which went through, then sent me a notification that the item was not available. I went into the store to cancel another order of mine and what do I see on the shelf...the very same coffee machine I tried to order. What a waste of time. I don't agree with much that Walmart does politically or socially but go a few times a year because they meet other grocery store's prices if they are within a 40-mile radius. On those occasions I use this location because to even park at the stores on West Tusc or Route 62, you risk your life. The store is cleaner and safer. read more

Came in today looking for ingredients to make coconut rice and Augie was a superstar! He went out of his way to willingly help us find the very last can of pure unsweetened coconut milk. It was pushed in the way back, so he got on his hands and knees to spot the only can in the building. Then Tia helped us find a few other items and Jessica was very friendly at the cash register. I was there just last night (Monday 12/18/17). Worst experience of a Walmart I ever had. Took me three hours to get a cartload of crap...and I mean that crap, to which is possibly 2% cheaper than Target. The problems 1) It is Christmas week and there are hundreds of people in the store. There are a few very overworked associates stocking and the are helpful...but the numbers are drastically low for Christmas season 2) There were TWO cashiers !!!!!!!! The whole store had 2 cashiers and 6 self check outs (which are a joke ("please remove item.....error...see cashier...blah blah") . I had 12 people in front of me along with the customary problems of items not marked and price checks needed a lot. I waited almost an hour to get checked out. The cashier was so overworked I felt so sorry for her. Apparently management is trying to hold down costs by abusing customers as much as possible by having no respect for their time or patience. As I was internally raging looking at the severely understaffed store while thinking the 5 Walmart heirs have about $150 billion to split between themselves. Come on spoiled kids and wife, keep about $3 billion a piece ( that is $90 million a year in treasury interest alone for each heir without lifting a finger!!) Now take the other $135 billion and put it into doubling your associates pay and watch the quality of service go way up I have watched Walmart go up in price and down in service over the years and am waiting for the next new retailer to come up and take away their undeserved laurels. I'm going back to Target or Amazon and Acme, & Save a Lot . This outrageous bad service from Walmart (both online and stores) is not tolerable for this puny savings. Not to mention the obvious constant video "surveillance" everywhere that claims to keep prices low by using these creep cameras. The inept and cavalier attitude of anyone that is supposed to be knowledgable enough to assist you, has a lot to be desired. Tire and Lube is what you would expect from Wal Mart: shared waiting room with a guy wearing house slippers (seriously I can't make this stuff up). I had a problem with an oil change at Walmart, but automotive manager Ron and store manager Abagail made it right. They were friendly and professional and didn't give me the runaround. This trip to Walmart was a nightmare. I used the ship to store option to save on shipping and it was almost worth it to fork over the 5 bucks it would have taken to ship my item to me. Received confirmation that it had arrived and when i went to pick it up it was no where to be found. Very mean employees. Went to customer service to send money, she was bitching at me that I didn't have to fill out a paper. So while I was giving her information, she said my address didn't match my Driver license. I didn't have this problem before. I didn't know the address is a big deal. I mean I'm jus sending money, Walmart to Walmart. I've send money before so their computer should already have my information. My driver license address don't match my current address because I moved out . Yes it's my fault I should get that change but I already told them to use my new address before and they got that fixed. Anyways Got everything fix out looked at my receipt paper, the address is there that I have before. she simply told me that she can't use it because it didn't match my driver license. Okay thanks .. went to shop some things and went check out myself. Cash out person was mean too. Didn't say hello, didn't smile, didn't care to help put my stuff in the bag. Next time I will take pictures to show you guys proof. I'm not making a complain because that's not how I am. I'm making a complaint to tell you guys to train your staff to be nicer, talk nicer or a little more professional, and tell your staff to welcome people in, I walked in and this women was on her phone!!!!!!! What a joke. I don't often visit Wal-Mart but today I needed a flat fixed. Pulled but to the tire center to have 2 employees look and me and walk away. Yes I have a 2017 car which probably said I don't need a oil change but nothing outside said the lane I pulled up in said oil change only. After no one helping I got my 4 year old out of the car and we went inside. The first older woman helped us and told me i parked in the oil change lane. We went to move the car but she decided to help us. I told her I just had a flat and at my work they helped plug the tire so I did not have to change it to a spare. Then another younger lady came over and kept telling me they won't plug and plug. I tried to explain the plug was to get me to the store so I could have it plugged corrently. I was NOT trying to to replug and a tire but she would not stop so we left. What a joke. No one should ever trust this place! I wanted to go to her manager but my son was ready to leave and so was I. This is a store to avoid. The store is dirty, the checkout lines move slowly. If you need help with something, it is almost impossible to get someone to help you. If you do get an employee's attention, they are rude and reluctant to help. Go to Target instead. read more

I'm only rating this 5 stars so everyone will see this. My fiancé recently had surgery and it has been too painful for him to walk. We looked for the scooter carts or wheelchair carts for a minute until we couldn't find them and decided to ask an employee. She was an over weight older lady and she immediately got an attitude with him as if he was a punk kid just wanting to play on it. And then she proceeded to say something mouthy to the lady beside her about how he was mad because he couldn't use one of the carts and he was wearing a hospital band. Ofcorse he was because of people like her acting as if he was a joke. So by this time, he's livid, he has to walk around the store in excruciating pain, who wouldn't be right? So he starts talking about how horrible the employees at this Walmart are and everyone of them who walked past starred us down and gave us dirty looks. Not to mention there were empty boxes laying every where and the shelves still weren't stocked. read more
