Worst store ever. Overworked hourly associates. Managers walking around doing absolutely nothing. I did one hour photo and 5 hours later they are still not ready. I literally saw at least 3 department managers walk by and a couple senior managers. Called while I was in line to get Alfonso in photo some help because he's working his tail off and a female manager by the name of Bethany said she would get some help and still nothing. I was at this Walmart earlier since it's closest to my house. Upon leaving the store, the woman with green and blue hair grabbed my cart to stop me at the door and then demands my receipt. Then proceeded to riffle through my bags to verify the purchase that she watched me scan through the self checkout. She even went to the trouble to relay to her coworker that I was questioning her process. First of all no one is required to show their receipts to any store employee, unless there is a suspicion of theft. I can definitely see why the store has such low scores on yelp. Store management here is the worst. Purchased snow chains to go up to Lake Arrowhead. I was assisted by a Walmart employee with getting the proper size. While going to Lake Arrowhead, I was informed that I did not have the proper size. I had to buy new chains on the spot. Tried returning the ones sold to me by Walmart and they would not accept them. Able and Anthony said it was their store policy not to accept returns on snow chains. They said I could try returning them to another Walmart, which made no sense. I told them both that there was nothing posted saying all sales were final on snow chains. They said they were aware of that, however, if they posted policies everywhere, they would have to post policies all over the store for every item. I felt it was appropriate to share My latest shopping experience & give recognition where it's due. I noticed allllll employees were productive, working in a teamwork efforts. All while each employee acknowledged me & offered their help. I wish I got his name but a gentleman went online to look up the product I was in search of, & personally walked me to it. I had the security come to me and ask if I needed help unloading my bags and he returned my cart for me..the store was clean!! What a great experience.. !! This place has the worst management. I was in line behind a woman who was having issues using her card. It took the cashier and three slow moving managers to help her. Instead of opening a new line to move other customers in and out of their store they did nothing; instead, they all stood standing there like they were in the movie Idiocracy. I left the line and went to self checkout where employees are just standing around in their own world and conversation not acknowledging any customers. This store is a joke. I just left this Walmart I came to get a tv for my bedroom and when I went to go purchase it I went to the self checkout there was literally 4 girls there that didn't bothered to help me cause I was scanning all the barcodes and nothing but what did the girls do NOTHING! Just stood there and stared so I went to a register that was next to the self checkout line, the cashier Celia, she was such a good employee she tried to help me, and when she was trying to takeoff the wires from the TV box, so I could go ahead and head to my car. It was not budging so she try so hard to open it and it wouldn't open now. The girls that were at the self check out line and was that did not want to help me, they were just standing there and staring at me and the cashier Celia, not father to help us nothing until two other coworkers came to help us, and that's when one of the girls from the checkout line came to us and decided to help that girl was name Lanie Sotheby's other 3 girls. I have been a costumer for 5+years and at first there was the theft of my bike seat in front of the store. That was a loss. But things seemed to be ok after that until I bought some steam cards from electronics department. DIRECTEXPRESS users "BEWARE" the machines and cashiers. If you slide your card and you see (thank you) on the machine you are being charged. If something doesn't register with the machine when you buy it but you see a transaction, stop!!! You will have to get your money back from the store and you will get the run around trying to get your money back. We go to pay after spending an hour and half at the store. My mom had a bottle of wine and we were denied purchase because my gf was not 21. The dirtiest Walmart I have ever been too and I've been to a lot of cities in California! Out of stock on so many products and the shelfs in every department was a mess especially make up and kid clothes. We just moved to north San Bernardino and this is the closest walmart, I rather drive to a different city than to ever go to this one again. The store didn't even have baskets inside! I had to walk back out to the packing lot and get one myself which was so inconvenient especially because it was like 40 degrees when I went!!!! Horrible experience to say the least! The first time I bought the dog a collar I thought it was funny you have to get them to unlock them. The nice helpful boy had to put the 4.99 collar in a gross plastic box like it's diamond ring status. The puppy grew. Went back for collar number two. The girl actually allowed me to walk the quarter mile with my 3.99 item to self check out without it being in a locked box so I could pretend I work for free and help my own self to prove to the lady at the door I actually purchased the thing and didn't try to rip them off. There are reasons their costs are down. Everything else always is too. They are just gross stores. I go when forced and today I have to take a GF to one. I am so sick and tired of this Walmart's "idgaf" attitude. Their customer service is beyond lacking. It's not only a one time thing but a constant disappointment. Pick orders often have the wrong items ordered and most of the time the person bringing your stuff out acts like they are doing you a favor. If you need something from their poorly installed and locked cages , forget it you're better off going elsewhere buying what you need there and there coming back and you'd still have to wait to get whatever you "rang" for. Today was the absolute last straw when I was trying to purchase a mattress. I asked for assistance and the pink haired lady looked at me like I asked her to get me a Martian from Mars. But after last night an employee at the self check out, CHRISTINE, she was so helpful to me, she was patient kind and very attentive with not only me. I saw her spreading herself around with all the customers She was making herself readily avaliable and politely. I needed to do last minute shopping and was sick with fever as well and just wanted to shop and get out of there and start what was my FRIDAYasap due to the fact i was also sick.
