Mistakenly bought the wrong size shirt due to the fact that tha hanger was mis-marked. Tried to simply exchange the shirt for the correct size. After waiting for 20 mins, I was told that the Returns Desk was closed and had been closed since 6 pm. Their electronics department is the worst. When we wanted to return the phones we purchased their manager Michael was never there and the other two employees didn't know exactly what to do and didn't have the authority to process the return. Then we come to find out that the new guy who opened the first phone lines had two companies charging us for the phones AT&T and Verizon. We kept getting emails saying that we had pending charges and it took four weeks of going back to the store to get every problem fixed. My recommendation is to avoid purchasing anything from the electronics department. They won't care to help you out for a return or a problem you might encounter. read more

I always have bad customer service. I get this one lady all the time and she is super rude and talks back at me every time I go in. I don't shop here much anymore because of this reason plus they never have the items I need in stock. I only go if no one else has the stuff I need. I rather spend more somewhere else then here. Not enough cashier open always long lines. The last few times I went just for propane paid and all then they tell me they don't have any! While why sell if you have none and now they have to refund me my money back instead of checking before I pay it. I also try calling to see if they have propane now and no one ever answers the phone. I usually don't have any problems with this store, but today... man they were something else at the fitting room. Took my 11 year old to get a swim suit. (She's always had a long torso so 1 pieces are a bit of struggle to find one's that sit correctly). So we find 6 that she liked and go to try them on. At first the girl was opening the door then she stops and goes oh you can't try on 1 pieces. what? Yea and any 2 pieces you can only try on the top. Again, what? That makes no sense. I asked well how am I supposed to know if it fits? She then asks 2 other women who proceed to tell me the same. I say that makes no sense and walk away. Well frustrated because it's already hard enough to have my daughter actually pick ANYTHING, I go back and totally turn into that damn lady that calls for the manager. Welp that did no good. Not only did 2 come up like they were walking into a fight, they begin telling me that is policy as well. Then one of the ladyies begin to tell me that there are many small women in this world and they try on the girls swim suits so she can get crabs... w.t.f. am I hearing... then when I ask again how I'm supposed top know if it fits or not? I am told I can return them if they don't fit and they will just dispose of them. So I have to buy all of these, take them home to try on, then return the ones she doesn't like or doesn't fit? The manager tells me he's not saying I have to buy any of them but she can't try them on here it's policy... Again none of this makes any dang sense. Knowing I'm not getting anywhere I leave the suits and go. Just so everyone knows. Walmart (and everywhere else) policy is to leave your underwear on while trying on any bottoms. Plus you want to do that anyways until you wash them. Common sense people! I have been purchasing diabetic supplies from this Walmart for 2 years. Yesterday I tried to purchase the usual syringe/needle size needed for my dog (per the vets instruction) and the pharmacy tech refused to sell them to us even tho they had them in stock on the shelf. She said we could by some that were 2mm shorter on the needle but this isn't what our vet recommended. To be able to buy the size I need I have to go get a prescription (which I had in hand 2 years ago but don't have it now) yet 2 years ago they said I didn't need the prescription. The pharmacy tech said that they've had this rule for as long as she has worked there - that's 2-3 months. The Pharmacy Manager Nina wouldn't even come over to explain this, she just kept sending the pharmacy tech back with her pronouncements. We never got a straight up answer why I couldn't have the original need size I need. Nina, your management skills suck. read more

One Word: Arthur! Best. Employee. Ever. I was recently in LA visiting a friend. We decided to spend a lazy Sunday at Venice Beach; my friend was on rollerblades and I was riding pretty on a rented beach cruiser. Needless to say, I re-fell in love with riding a bike and I decided that day that I had to own one, pronto! Problem was I did not want to spend upwards of $200 on a bike... so I turned to Walmart. I went to this Walmart location because they have a bigger bike selection than the other Walmarts around my immediate area. I found a bike I liked, but couldn't find the price. Arthur immediately helped me locate the price and gave me tons of tips on how to go about buying the perfect bike for me. He was funny, helpful and full of tips. With his help, I ended up ordering a pink beach cruiser online versus buying a color I didn't like at the store; and I opted to have it delivered to the store so they can put it together for me. I was shopping at your San Bernardino location (4001 Hallmark Pkwy, San Bernardino, CA 92407) on 5/12/2019 and I was trying to look for assistants to grab a product that was locked in the case. I first looked for an employ for that particular department, but with no success. I went to the department next to it to ask for help for what I needed. I requested help from two workers and got the same answer- "that is not my department; go find the girl that works there." They did not even request to call someone over for me. I got upset, grab what I had, payed for it and left. I ended up buying the products I wanted from a different store. read more

I went in at about 8:30 there was little to no customers as it was still early. I waited about 20 minutes for someone to come and unlock the medicine cabinet so that I could get access to some Tylenol. I asked a few of the workers that were passing by or that were stocking the shelves if they could help call someone to open the medicine for me, and I was responded with "you have to press the call button" as though I had not done so since I got to the store. I even went to the front and requested assistance from two cashiers asking if they would be able to radio someone to help. They did so and no one came. I ended up leaving at around 9:00 after being fed up with waiting, mind you I would have understood if there was a lot of people, but please recall that the store had little to no customers the whole time I was present. As I was leaving one of the cashiers responded with " no one came, sorry" and made little to no effort to ensure that I did not leave with a negative experience. Terrible customer service. read more

A place to get your emergency necessities only. Other than that I much rather go to the most ghetto Target. Customer service is bad but that's no surprise to anyone that has ever been to a Walmart. As someone who has worked customer service and actually put in the effort to service customers it really tears me a new one to deal with people who really suck at their job. Got charged repeatedly on 3 different items so had to go back to get my money back. It took about or even over 20 min for customer service manager Dwanya (or however it's spelt) to show up and help. They had to call her 3 times over the intercom. She finally shows up with the most bland face and uncaring attitude. I didn't get a hello or an apology for the inconvenience nothing. It took her another 20 min to help me get my money back. This review is for the Pick Up/Layaway area. The first time I ordered from Walmart.com, I received an email explaining that my item was damaged during delivery. A little upset, I contacted Walmart Customer Service to refund me because I did not want to wait again for another product. Today was the first time my order successfully arrived to the store. When I got to the Pick Up area, one employee was assisting an angry customer. I don't know what the issue was but the customer demanded that the associate make a phone call, so the employee went to the back room. There was a young woman in front of me who had been waiting for some time and behind me, a line started to form. It's a little upsetting that the associate couldn't call for back up. A couple other associates have walked by and looked at us and didn't do a thing. Fortunately, one lady asked if we have been helped and she called for assistance. Overall, not a great first time experience for Pick Up. Would I use the Ship-to-Store option again? Probably. Most likely. But I thought I would inform other customers of the experience. read more

My experience here today started out with a major misunderstanding involving the online photo ordering services being inconsistent with the hours of this particular location. I ordered several photos for a wedding that is taking place tomorrow, I received my confirmation text stating they were ready at 7:45pm and that they were open until 10pm for me to pick them up. When I arrived at 9:15pm , there was a closed sign on the desk at the photo center. This was troublesome being that my text confirmation clearly states they would be open until 10pm. So I spoke with the nearest associate in electronics, a nice young lady who informed me that the photo associate was gone for the day. I asked if anyone else would be able to assist me, she asked a tall lanky man named Scott nearby, he very rudely said "the sign over there says they close at 9, so no, no one else can help you" i then explained to him that I have experience personally ordering photos from several Walmart and even received them in the past well after the closing hours where a customer service rep opens the drawer for me with no complaints. As I do not usually get there so late, I am aware it isn't a regular practice but I am sure it can be done. There for I posed a new question, "who can I have open it for me? Being that I have been misinformed on the hours with no fault of my own, furthermore I am here on travel with no knowledge of the regular hours aside from the information provided to me on my app" he then further disrespected me and spewed out " you can drive back here tomorrow morning when they open, that's it. They locked it up , no one is going to open it for you" Fast forward to me requesting a manager to speak with for further assistance I was then introduced to Stacey a delightful person who went above and beyond with a smile on her face. And then a Marilyn who then assisted her in helping me and taking me to the registers herself. Horrible experience, I woke up extra early 6:30 trying to beat the crowd at Walmart, the parking lot was empty.. The employees were racially profiling.. I needed a cooler asked where they were, the 1st person acted like he didn't know what I was talking about then he finally told me where they were. Next I walk back there, they sent 3 employees to follow and spy on me to make sure I wasn't going to steal.. I went up to the customer service section to see if they could order the one I actually wanted, she sent me to the ordering service in back of the store it was at 7 am but they don't open until 8 I walked all the way back there for no reason. Anyways, went to the checkout line to see if the cashier knew more info or could help, he was the only person that helped me out his name was Rudy he provide great customer service. After leaving the cashier, the lady who asked to see the receipt is staring at the receipt and asking me is there anything in the cooler another person assuming I'm going to steal. Anyways I bought it, but when I get in the car I was irritated about being profiled so I went inside asked for the manager and told her about my whole experience. I let her know I didn't have to steal my earrings cost more than their paycheck, if we are all minorities why are they racially profiling? We are new in he area came here and everything is out of place and the workers are kind of dumb. They don't know where anything is. I asked to buy a hair straighter and they were locked, so they said they'd go get the key. After 29 minutes of waiting! They said they couldn't find the key! Really? ok .... The produce isn't so bad. Surprisingly a very clean and up kept Walmart. Always well stocked and employees are generally nice with good customer service. I come here for a variety of things and they always have what I'm looking for in stock. The exchanges/returns area and lines are never overflowing (at least when I come). The parking lot can get a bit chaotic with people walking in every direction when you're trying to leave, but nothing too terrible to deal with. Subway and auntie Anne's are also in here if you need a quick snack/lunch or refreshment. Usually also very clean. Thank you Walmart for being better than other locations I've been to. read more

I came here to buy my baby some laundry soap and other items along the way. Paid for my stuff and when i got home i realized i didnt have the baby soap with me!! I was worried that i was going to have to pay for another bottle of laundry soap. I went back to this wal mart after 2 hours. Walked up to one of the store managers and asked her if they found baby soap on register 15. She said that they did have some items that were left behind. So i gave her my receipt and waited to see if they had my soap. The Walmart in San Bernardino, CA at 4001 Hallmark is a very lousy store. They are so unorganized and in such disarray. The shelves are always empty, the merchandise set in the middle of the store floor and never are unpack on the shelves. My experience is with their online department. I ordered a product online, they sent me an email to come pick up on 12/4/2019 I wait until Saturday 12/7/2019 and go and pick up my item and the tell me it probably has not been unpack or they are waiting for the truck to come in, those lazy ladies didn't even try to find out it my item was even there, they just gave some lazy excuse. I went to the manage on call that day (12/7/2019) and she gave me some lazy excuse and didn't try to help either. This Walmart needs to retrain their employee's to better help their customers. Bought a coffee pot from here that broke in less than 2 months didn't have the receipt (didn't plan on returning it) also don't have the card it was bought both any more due to fraud. All I wanted to do was exchange it for a new one.
