    Flu meds: 4.99 each.

    Walmart moved into this space after Target left. I mostly avoid W. For various reasons. The latest one being it's so crowded there's no social distancing. Didn't want to catch COVID nor the flu. Had to come here recently to buy some Flu meds. Decided to come late in the afternoon on a Sunday as sports drains businesses of patrons during that time span. Was planning to get in & out quickly. 'Cuz scouting my get-away on the fly, taking pics wasn't a priority. Customer service was great though workers seem stressed & shell shocked. Had to flag down a worker to open the med. cabinet as all were "locked" until liberated by a worker to my custody . Same meds then "locked" in a plastic "box" till it reached a payment station. Cashier unlocked meds & placed them in my custody upon payment of $4.98 a bottle. Every item had a different $$ figure to be released from custody. Price tags seen, sometimes didn't match merch. behind it. Unknown when I may return ago. Hearsay a flu wave is coming from SoCal.

    Time for an update...? Too soon, but I want and need to link my pictures... Quality/Quantity - Again, the better of the two Walmarts in SL, thank you. If you are following, I have been spending more and more time in SL, slowly going south towards Hayward. Another reason I like this Walmart is because it is near and convenient to the other businesses I frequent when back in The Bay. FoodMaxx, Lucky, Safeway, etc. Better instock conditions, better parking, and still has all the departments that I need. I even did curbside pick up once, for the first time which was quick and easy. Atmosphere - See above. They have the following departments - Garden Center, Pharmacy, Grocery, Photo, Liquor, Subway, Delucas (pizza), etc. Open 7 days a week from 6am to 11pm. Plenty of parking. Well, I like to park further and walk as there are too many bad drivers and bad parkers. Plus I do not want any cart dings. Service - Self service. But the self service check out is fully staffed and monitored. Price - Inexpensive. I do not check prices with this brand. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1969, as the world's largest company by revenue (2022), $648+ billion sales (2024); 50+ stores in Nevada and 309+ stores in California (2022). 1962 Walmart Discount City. 1969 Walmart Inc. 1970 Walmart Stores Inc.

    Walked up to the register this morning at my local Walmart. senior female employee who needed to sit in a chair while cashiering. she would carry a conversation with her coworker nearby. There was no greeting not even the total amount due. I couldn't believe it cause I was raised to respect my elders and this senior female, elderly employee, her conversation was too important with her coworker at the time to even speak. Eventually I swipe my gift card and waiting on her in and literally she just stares at me. I waited to see if she was going to say anything she didn't so I said I'm waiting on you. She said I'm waiting on you with a tone in her voice. I shared i wipedwipe my gift card she says swipe it again. I said I will. She goes good when the star prompt came on the screen. I told her you'll get a one star for no greeting & caring a conversation with your coworker the whole time she said,she doesn't care you are rating the store and next time go to a different line. before I would leave the store I spoke to a supervisor. She apologized and said she will talk to the employee. This type of behavior Shouldn't be accepted by management.

    4 stars strictly for the great prices!! Yep, this Walmart, like most, has all the the same Walmart stuff that people' dislike, but that stuff doesn't matter to me as long as I'm saving dough!! And they carry a huge variety of things!! I've come here for food, car items, Christmas gifts, tools, vitamins, athletic gear, household items, and they have them at reasonable if not lower than normal prices!! Located on Hesperian in San Leandro, getting in and out of the parking lot can be a hassle sometimes, especially when the In-N-Out Burger joint next door is crazy crowded and you can only get out one way!! The key for me though, is to get in, get what you came for, and get out!! I'm not here for the experience or ambiance, I'm here to save money!!

    I mean it's Walmart ...... This particular Walmart is well stocked and well organized Prices are always reasonable I was able to find the items I was looking for no problem I noticed employee all around the store stocking and cleaning up Line to pay was kinda long but it went by fast As I was standing in line I felt something fall on my head It was water from the ceiling that had a missing tile and it happened to be raining really hard

    Haven't been to Walmart in awhile. They have armed agents there. Yikes. Not a good look.

    I haven't been here in awhile. This isn't a welcoming location. And never really has been. There were employees everywhere including the front door and no one spoke when I came in, and no one spoke when I left. The checker did say hello before they talked to their co worker as they checked me out, no biggie. It was weird as I saw at least 20 + Walmart employees for the 10-15 minutes I shopped. Things are all over the place and at times space is limited when trying to pass other customers in here, but there are a lot of good items here. This location is cluttered with items/employees and maybe the employees only job is to watch people and prevent theft, but I don't think most shoppers are here to steal so maybe say hello, smile, ask if the customer needs help finding anything. Not here though. On the way in I passed armed agents (Not security guards)and on the way out I passed armed agents. Bullet proof vest and rifles. It didn't make me feel safe personally. I know it's a crazy world, but not all are crazy and we want to see/feel some kind of normalcy these days. This didn't feel normal.

    Today I shopped at Walmart in San Leandro on Hesperian Blvd.. I shop there once a week. I usually buy fancy feast cat food and various other things. I spend about $125 a week. The last few times I had to bring to the checkers attention that the shelf says .87 cents and it rings up for .88. It's only 1 cent. But when you are buying 96 cans that's nearly $ 1.00. So it's the principal. Change the price on the shelf if you are going to raise the price. Today Teresa the checker made a big fuss. She didn't know how to do it. Other checkers did it quickly no problem. So I asked for a manager to accomplish the override. That was nearly impossible to achieve . Finally after being pulled out of line ,ridiculed and abused by Teresa. She called me names and said things about me right in front of me. Horrible treatment. I was patient and kind. I figured she hates her job. I just wanted the price adjusted. The manager finally came made the adjustment and did not apologize. Really on New Years Eve. It was at 7:30 am so the store wasn't busy. I don't know why I'm shocked. I'm a Walmart plus member and I try to use scan and go when I'm not buying something that's priced wrong. Just so I don't interact with Walmart rude checkers. If you get someone nice it's rare. She also said don't expect any service this is Walmart. It was like a scene from Saturday Night Live. It was so outrageous I laughed . I'm considering shopping at Target you get what you pay for. Walmart no service you can abuse someone else in the future.

    Walmart is always busy However, when workers are nice you got to give it to them. Ghruba from the money center dept. was very patient & kind to all her customers & she was pleasant. I did my transaction & I said, Thank you! Thank you for all the people who are Kind & Nice to all kinds of people! Keep up the Good Work Walmart!

    I think this is one of the better ones. Not full of kids throwing stuff in the aisle and the people have always been friendly.

I never received the text message they promised. I returned on Friday, and once again they couldn't locate my prescription. After more searching, they finally found it -- but they also tried to give me someone else's order at the same time. I had to explain that I only had one prescription and asked them to verify it using my phone number, not just my last name. The entire experience was very unprofessional, disorganized, and frustrating. On top of that, the drive-thru wait was over 20 minutes. For something as important as prescriptions, accuracy and communication should be a priority. This pharmacy seriously needs to improve its customer service and organization.

So I had to drive in. The parking lot is like a convention of the most depressing and depressed-looking people on Earth and everything just looked filthy. I think the inside of County Jail is cleaner. So I drove to another Walmart a 9 minute drive away, the one on Hesperian, hoping I wouldn't be met with the same nightmare; I wasn't. The Hesperian one was clean, the lines moved fast, and the shelves were well stocked. In this one on Davis, the impression is just chaos and anarchy in the entire store. The Hesperian one is still a Walmart (and God help anyone for braving any of them), but at least THERE (NOT HERE!) I was able to get what I came in for, and leave, within a short time.

    I had a very frustrating experience with the phone service at this pharmacy on March 11…read more Around 1:50 PM, I called because I needed to speak with a Mandarin-speaking female staff member I had previously discussed a medication question with. A male employee named Amo answered the phone. I politely asked if he could ask her to return my call and even offered to leave my phone number. Instead of answering my request, he repeatedly told me to call back in 30 minutes. At 3:23 PM I called again and the same employee answered. I asked again if the Mandarin-speaking staff member could speak with me. I stayed on the line waiting for her. After waiting for 27 minutes with no response, I drove to the pharmacy myself. When I arrived, the Mandarin-speaking staff member finally picked up the phone and told me that the employee had just told her about my call. This means my call had been left waiting the entire time without notifying her. I understand pharmacies can be busy, but basic communication with customers is important. If the staff member was unavailable, he could have simply told me honestly or asked her to briefly explain the situation. Leaving a customer waiting on the phone for almost 30 minutes without any explanation is very disrespectful. What made the experience worse was the dismissive and impatient attitude from the employee. As a Mandarin-speaking customer, this interaction made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I hope management reviews this situation and improves staff training in customer service and communication.
