Gotta give a shoutout to the employee in the pick up department for online orders. He was extremely helpful and really enjoyed his job. Horrible place to go to horrible customer service had an item that I bought that did not come with everything it was supposed to and did not work right went to return it and the lady was a manager at the service desk told me that she cannot return it because all the pieces weren't there and when I said it did not come with the pieces she rudely explain to me that her store does not sell defective items had to drive all the way to the Walmart in Hobart and there was no problem returning the item read more

The Walmart in Schererville,in make sure the cashiers charge you correctly I was charge 3 times for an item I purchased once, call them spoke with a lady on October 30,2015 was told there security people will look at the tape and get back to me. Called 10-31-2015 spoke with another lady was told someone will get back to me 48-72 hours. Well I called again today 5 days later and was told there security people has not looked at it once again. They are horrible when it comes to customer service. I will be contacting there corporate office. read more

This has to be the worst managed walmart in the country. They are always out. There is no way to go in this store and leave with all the items I wanted. They absolutely will not stock the shelves. The customer is totally irrelevant. It's usually a waste of time to even go in the store. read more

Overall Walmart in general and especially the one in Schererilville, IN on route 30 is a fabulous store to shop at. Customer service is supreme above and beyond they apologize when they don't have the size you're looking for and it's not even their faults they don't need to apologize for something like that however I'm going to post another review please read my 2nd review THIS review is about every other employee, every other experience I've ever had at The Walmart at the location I spoke of and every other Walmart I have shoPPED at. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Had intentions to purchase inflatable intex pool. Went on website to see if it was in stock at store before I packed up and drove to Schererville. Item CLEARLY said it was available and could be picked up same day. Seeing as item was available in store I figured I would just take it upon myself and drive to store, find item on shelves, purchase, carry to car, and drive home without inconveniencing a employee. However when I arrived I was unable to find product on shelf (no biggie).. Walked my way to the back of the store where you can obtain your "pick-up" items. Spoke to representative named Jordan. Pulled up exact pool on my phone and handed to Jordan asking if he would mind grabbing product for me. Jordan did not say much just started looking on his phone while I stood there. After what seemed like forever Jordan said "I'm not sure we have that" and that was all. I was completely dumbfounded by his nonchalant response. (Website says item is in stock at location) Thanked him and walked away. THEN, I took a different route thinking I would just order it online and Jordan would have to obtain pool from warehouse or wherever it may be. I did just that and went back to "pick up" section. There was a different employee there now whom explained that Jordan is on a "run" and will be back shortly and should obtain item for me. Not even 2 minutes later here comes Jordan again who told me "well our system isn't the best and there are only 3 pools left and 2 have already been bought so I don't think we have it." Oh, you don't think? Last time I checked Walmart keeps track of their inventory and even have handheld devices for such things. At this point my blood is boiling because Jordan could have just said that the first time I talked to him. The situation would have been defused if I was told from the start that I would not be able to pick up item until next day even though my confirmation email stated "pick up today before 8pm) Now, I have spent 2 hours of my time waiting on Jordan when my question could have been answered the FIRST time I spoke with him. Moral of the story I was treated rudely with no compassion and ended up cancelling my order. What is the point of "same day pick-up" if employees are not willing to provide the customer service that is expected when dealing with purchases and customers. I used to like coming to this Walmart, not anymore!!! The whole store is in disarray, aisles have items scattered all around and the shelves are either empty or overstocked. Also I ordered something online and tried to cancel it (2 weeks before it even left the damn warehouse) and they couldn't do it. This Walmart is definitely going to go down quickly and become a real sh*thole if changes don't come soon. read more

I went here for the first time in about half a year and the place was filthy! My goodness there were products strewn all over the floor and items just littered the aisles! I thought this was a semi decent Walmart, but not even close. The employees are so so unprofessional. Security guys are super creepy and so unprofessional! They stalk around the Walmart. Gosh this really ruined it for me and I can guarantee you I will never step foot in another Walmart again. read more

After getting the items we needed & standing at check out #8 for over 5minutes, I asked the employees if anyone was working at the register? All of a sudden we heard a voice say I'm coming. Cashier walked up said nothing, no greeting & scanned our items told us the amount, as we were receiving change no thank you. She appearred as though she was not wanting to be at work, just an all around bad experience. This Walmart is a great place to shop. They have great values, sales, and many items in stock. The only problem, they recently started playing music and it sounds horrible. The country music, in particular, is extremely annoying. They need to cut out the music and go quiet again. Only other problem is that they keep it too hot in there in the summer. read more

Came and purchased a tv here. Customer service was horrible, first off it took 40 minutes to get serviced, employees were rude, to say the least, the manager from electronics didn't know what they had in their inventory even when she came back from checking and when I asked her for some information on the tvs her exact words were," I can't tell you which tv to buy." It's Walmart. I don't think I could ever bring myself to give any Walmart more than two stars. The staff are - well Walmart employees. The customers? Walmart customers. I visit maybe twice a year when I need something and it's after hours - basically when it's a hostage situation. read more
