So, as far as I'm concerned, this place is a 5/5 for a Walmart. It had everything you would expect in a Walmart, an employee actually said hello to me, no one was being arrested outside the front door, and I didn't get stabbed. I had a very bad experience with Walmart today. I was walking through the aisle today looking for a very needed essential item. It was a feminine product. A man working at Walmart with a braid came up to me in the middle of the aisle and said "What are you looking for miss?" and me as a young woman was very scared because he kept coming closer to me. I was feeling harassed and afraid for my safety. Rental car tire had a flat during our vacation, so we went to firestone. Got there 20 minutes prior to closing and they wouldn't take us in. We then turned to Walmart. They not only stayed an hour later than closing but also helped call the rental car company to explain why the tire couldn't be patched, which resulted in the rental company paying for the tire instead of us. I wish I could learn to love Walmart. The prices are usually good. The problem is that I can not find an employee in this store when I need one. Sure there are plenty of stockers around but they don't have a clue and usually speak marginal English at best. This store is clean and a little smaller than other Walmarts. Frustrating experience. The cashiers a have constant attitude when it comes price matching. They have very specifics rules that we follow and ever... DO NOT got to Da Vi Nails inside wal mart. They burned my mothers face with wax and now she has blisters. As her face was burning the worker went to get the phone. She couldn't wipe it off cause it was hot she would have burnt her hands, then she has the nerve to ask for a tip. Its Walmart. As far as Walmarts go it is very clean inside and out. That is a plus compared to most locations I've been too. I'd still much prefer we had something else in our community, but it is what it is. If they ever start treating their employees better then I would consider giving them more stars, but they continue to pay their employees low wages and offer them little to no benefits. read more

It's so annoying that Walmart has their overhead lighting that cycles why your shopping to save money (pennies). It actually costs more money to keep turning that many lights on/off all day with the power surges than to just leave them on so the customer can first enjoy their shopping experience, and two see what their buying. I've been going to this Walmart for over 10 years, the staff has always been friendly and interacting with customers in a positive manner. People writing these complaints- BOO HOO. We all need to run to Walmart sometimes and this location is a Walmart rarity- clean, well stocked, clean lot. Anything shady going on you can usually blame on the fact that it's next to the highway. Personally, I've only encountered friendly and helpful employees but I myself am friendly and low maintenance. Anthem Walmart is a terrible experience for me ive worked there for 4 years and shopped there. Im surrounded by people not trained properly and a management staff that is lazy. Feeling abused by both frustrated customers and lazy management team who refuse to put in the effort it takes to run a business slowly but steady it has gotten worse over the years, This Walmart used to be so good and ran well but with the store manager and management staff putting all the blame on its employees and not taking responsibility nothing ever gets better except an upset staff. They have plenty of people but they cut every ones hours and the scheduling is done very wrong and works against the company, customers and employees. If you really look you can see some health code violations in the store, Such as not rotating product, placing new product in front of old product and employees walking by left out food rotting on the shelf's from customers. Laziness in the store is has caused people to take shortcuts risking the safety of the employees, and damaged product. The returns in the store have tripled over the years, and the employees are getting blamed and yelled at by mangers/supervisor's to work faster risking injury with unreasonable time lines as if the people in charge have no clue to what they are doing and that shows their lack of experience and common since to me. Ive seen the truck being unloaded with employees throwing valuable products up to a tv on to a pallet but the worst is the people who load the truck you can see they are doing the same thing the trucks come loaded in a an unorganized mess. When throwing boxes you can injury another person, and most likely damage product, this is just unacceptable and needs to change. I hope some one some day will investigate this Walmart so they can see it for themselves. read more

Went to the automotive center and asked to have my battery checked after needing AAA to jump start it. Battery had a sticker 6/17 so I wanted to know if it was 1. Good, 2. Covered under warranty. Pulled up at 3PM to several empty bays - told 45 minutes, they would text me.....After shopping for 1 hour and checking out I returned to automotive to be told my battery failed the test but was covered under warranty (told this twice while waiting) and it would be another 45 minute before it would be ready. After watching the technicians waste time, look at phones and bad mouth customers I was told my car was ready at 5:30. And they charged me $108.00. After being told twice it was covered under warranty. All I originally asked for was the free battery check......if they had told me it was bad and not covered I could have gone to auto-zone, bought one and changed it myself in half the time for the same price and received a 5 year warranty Vs a 2 year warranty and crappy battery. The customer service supervisor by the name of Nancy was so rude when I brought a set of dishes for return because they were defective and she said I could not return them with out the original receipt and I had a copy from my neat receipts and they said they do not accept photo copies of receipts and then went on to tell me she was to busy to deal with me and that I need to take them back to the store in Happy Valley where I originally bout them and see if they would help me for witch they did but I had to drive 10 more miles out of my way just to take care of it. I was there on for the Black Friday sale that happened on Thanksgiving and very impressed with everyone's behavior in fact the worst behaved was an assistant manager yelling at the older gentleman wearing the cowboy hat that worked at the door. The (middle aged?) asian lady that works nights is the absolute worst. I had an item without a price tag and she asked me to go get another one. Bitch, I'm not getting payed right now, you get it. On my way back with the notebook she desperately needed me to go get because she doesn't know how to price check, she started hurrying me with her hands because there was a line of people collecting. Took 35 minutes to check out!! Store clerk would not match items that were as advertised. Brought in ad match that I had printed out from a local Fry's Market and was not given the ad match price even though the dates were listed and ad was printed. Penny was an absolute nightmare to deal with. She is an angry bitter old lady that has NO business interfacing with people! Horrible experience. STAY AWAY FROM this WAL-MART! read more

You can't beat the service at this Wal-Mart when you check out. Everyone is for the most part friendly and helpful. The only down side is every time I go there for something in particular whether it be a food item or not, they're always out of the thing I need most and that is extremely frustrating. read more

I like that there is almost always someone working in the isles. Grocery has everything I need. Check out is pretty good too. You can't account for everyone deciding to check out at once and having a host of things like coupons, price matching, etc. Some customers are slow, not the cashiers. I like shopping here much better than Fry's, too crowded and there ads with the must by 4 of this, must buy 5 of this gets on my nerves. Not too mention shoppers and cashiers are not friendly like Walmart. Will continue shopping here. For the other commenters, I know of the hot days too, humidity keeps things hot and when the solar power kicks on the store lights dim. I asked one time. Problem solved. read more
