They have 2 stories! So if you're looking for something and don't see it on the first floor, head up the stairs and it'll probably be there. They do have an elevator, as well, if needed. By the registers, they have 3 Self Checkouts for easy self-serve shopping. One staff was monitoring the operations but it was a seamless experience for me. You just gotta keep in mind you are downtown so you may encounter unhomed people and all that comes with that.

We've entered 2021 where life is about efficiency and everything is done online now. Forget coming into the pharmacy, have it delivered directly to your door! Communication is done via text, phone, and/or email. You can transfer your prescriptions to Capsule, and/or have your doctor send the scripts over. From there, once they process everything, they'll send you a note stating the item is ready and you'll schedule a day/time for delivery. Note: you must be home for delivery, delivery can even be scheduled for that same day!

I only came to the 5th Street Target because it was the only place that had what I needed,a simple pen for black label for homemade gifts. I came against my better judgment, and honestly, I wish I hadn't. First off, the parking is a mess. You have to park in the garage and get validation to avoid paying $7. There's no handicap parking right in front of the elevator entrance either, which makes things way harder than it should be. I could have used street parking but didn't feel like being hassled by the men that wait in front of the store. Once I got inside, I started noticing a man, Hispanic, curly hair, maroon shirt, no name badge walking past me multiple times in different sections. First in the makeup aisle, then again when I moved to another area, and again a third time. It really felt like he was watching me, not shopping. He made me super uncomfortable. I was using the Target app to scan items and make sure I was getting the right prices. Just trying to get in and out quickly because, truth be told, I've been avoiding Target for a while now. When I checked out, one of my items rang up higher than what the app said. I went to Guest Services, showed the price on my phone, and was told I must've grabbed the wrong thing. I hadn't, I scanned it myself before adding it to my cart. All this over a few markers. I'm sticking with my boycott. I came here trying to support my own project and left feeling watched, dismissed, and frustrated.

Well, I ended up buying ice at a higher price from a gasoline station...don't remember the name. Am I raging about the difficulty of finding ice? Nope! In retrospect, it is rather humorous that so many places were out of ice simultaneously. If all of the ice went to fun pursuits, I'm good with the icecapades (case of the missing ice). Lesson learned: Buy ice in my neighborhood before heading downtown Austin.

Ok now that is out of the way. Review time: I really love this location so much. The store is huge with wide aisles making it easy to navigate compared to the smaller stores. Even if it's crazy busy on a Sunday afternoon you can still get to the items you need with ease. The store is still very clean and of course modern since the rebuild. Employees are friendly. The shelves are stocked fully 99.999% of the time. I live extremely close to the East 7th Street store (5 min away) and opt for this location time and time again.

It looks like the place was hit hard as there were items everywhere, there were boxes littered throughout with items meant for restocking, and the energy just felt a little tense. That being said, I think it's not too bad of a location. Super close by where my Airbnb was and close by bus station and a major road in the city. It's long but not wide and so there aren't a ton of aisles but the aisles are longish. The beginning of one aisle might have chips but by the end of it you'll be with the makeup. Cashiers are up front and there aren't a lot of self checkout lanes. Some items were locked behind a glass door but for the most part, everything was accessible without the help of employees. I didn't find my first choice for a couple of items but found my backup choice. So I'll give it a 3 star. But don't expect it to be the cleanest or most tidy

I said forget the coupon (which the pharmacist in the 2nd floor gave me). After my purchase, I told Ruby about the elevator incident, that she was more engrossed in her cell phone than providing good service. I asked her who is the supervisor of this CVS. She said she is the supervisor. What a shock. A supervisor who gives Bad customer service and who didn't know how coupons work. Negative star rating!

I've been really impressed with the level of customer service at this CVS, particularly in the…read morepharmacy. I had a problematic insurance situation, and both the pharmacist and the technicians really went out of their way to get the mess figured out. This was a situation that stretched over several days, and required the pharmacy to make multiple phone calls to the insurance call center, then ultimately get creative with how they filled the prescription so that it fit within the insurance company's requirement (they didn't do anything wrong, there was just a glitch in the system that prevented the prescription from being filled even after it was approved, and they managed to outsmart the system). Best of all, I didn't have to go to the pharmacy and deal with all of this in person. They answered my phone calls, worked it themselves, then called me back with updates and the ultimate resolution. When I went back for a flu shot several weeks later, the pharmacist remembered me. Oh, and I love that they text you when your prescription is ready for pick up. Great. I noticed that another review commented that no one greeted them as they came and went. Perhaps after seeing that review, the store manager corrected the problem, because now the person working the register by the door ALWAYS says hello. The first few times it happened, I was caught off guard because it so wasn't expected. I wasn't sure he was even talking to me, so I ignored him, but then it happened again and again. So, good on CVS for responding to this feedback. Like others, I don't normally review chains, but I thought this was an example of excellent customer service that should be noted.

I called Texas Dept of Pharmacy they were Zero help told me I could request my records but you have to send them a copy of your Social Security card, pay a fee, drivers license and get it notarized. There is no point in requesting records because what good it that going to do me. I am being blocked from getting the pain pills that I need in beautiful Texas because of some BS records that are painting me as some high risk patient which is not the case. My only stop now it to call a lawyer which is disgusting that I have to go through this to not be in pain.
