It looks like the place was hit hard as there were items everywhere, there were boxes littered throughout with items meant for restocking, and the energy just felt a little tense. That being said, I think it's not too bad of a location. Super close by where my Airbnb was and close by bus station and a major road in the city. It's long but not wide and so there aren't a ton of aisles but the aisles are longish. The beginning of one aisle might have chips but by the end of it you'll be with the makeup. Cashiers are up front and there aren't a lot of self checkout lanes. Some items were locked behind a glass door but for the most part, everything was accessible without the help of employees. I didn't find my first choice for a couple of items but found my backup choice. So I'll give it a 3 star. But don't expect it to be the cleanest or most tidy

I said forget the coupon (which the pharmacist in the 2nd floor gave me). After my purchase, I told Ruby about the elevator incident, that she was more engrossed in her cell phone than providing good service. I asked her who is the supervisor of this CVS. I only came to the 5th Street Target because it was the only place that had what I needed,a simple pen for black label for homemade gifts. I came against my better judgment, and honestly, I wish I hadn't. First off, the parking is a mess. You have to park in the garage and get validation to avoid paying $7. There's no handicap parking right in front of the elevator entrance either, which makes things way harder than it should be. I could have used street parking but didn't feel like being hassled by the men that wait in front of the store. Once I got inside, I started noticing a man, Hispanic, curly hair, maroon shirt, no name badge walking past me multiple times in different sections. First in the makeup aisle, then again when I moved to another area, and again a third time. It really felt like he was watching me, not shopping. He made me super uncomfortable. I was using the Target app to scan items and make sure I was getting the right prices. Just trying to get in and out quickly because, truth be told, I've been avoiding Target for a while now. When I checked out, one of my items rang up higher than what the app said. I went to Guest Services, showed the price on my phone, and was told I must've grabbed the wrong thing. I hadn't, I scanned it myself before adding it to my cart. All this over a few markers. I'm sticking with my boycott. Consistently poor service from the pharmacy team (Airport Blvd, Austin, Texas)…read more Prescriptions are never ready when we arrive to pick them up, and even when we wait, they still aren't prepared. My daughter and I were forced to return to the doctor and pay again because the prescription window had expired--despite us attempting to fill it within the allowed timeframe. We were also overcharged, and the coupon was not applied. No one asked which pricing option we preferred, even though other pharmacies routinely provide both options. My other daughter lives in Boulder, CO and picks up the same prescription and NEVER has any of these issues. CVS: Please fix this. It's frustrating and should not happen even once, much less more than four times. Disappointed.

While staying in Austin my friends and I went to this Target to get some groceries, sunscreen and such. Our first challenge was finding a parking spot that we didn't have to pay for. We could 15 minute parking and them walked through an abandoned lot to the very lack luster entrance. My immediately impression was that this reminded me of the Target from the early 1990s that competed with Kmart. The ceilings are low and the selection was limited but I would say, basically being located on the UT campus, the inventory is probably targeted to stuff college kids needs you know like ramen noodles and storage tubs. The one bright spot was that there was a Starbcucks inside and after our morning errands we were ready for coffee.
