Worst customer service. I don't know why they have a jewelry department as it is seldom manned. Waited 15 minutes, requested three different employees to request someone to come to the jewelry department, no response. Finally called the store's main number. After 3 minutes they answered, finally I heard someone announce on the PA for assistance to jewelry, finally someone came. All for a watch battery. In general, I'm not a big Walmart fan to start with, but I do end up shopping here quite often only because of its location close to my home. With that said, this place is a total and complete disaster, even by Walmart standards. The parking lot looks like a war zone with trash, uncollected shopping carts, etc., but when you walk through the doors, that's when the fun begins! The physical store is very "tired" from top to bottom...light years from the feeling you get walking around a Target, for example. In many respects, this store feels like one of those odd-lot clearance places, or a step back in time to Walmart in the 1980s... I can't say I've ever experienced a more disorganized, poorly managed retail catastrophe. Many products seem to be randomly thrown on the shelves...the signs on the aisles are rarely accurate...and there's literally no order or consistency as to how various items and brands are arranged and displayed. Even if you know what you're looking for, it takes forever to find it...IF you can endure the aimless wandering around and/or dealing with equally bewildered/clueless employees. Even with that, I typically walk out of this store without a few items on my shopping list, because they were out of stock. I assumed this was due to the COVID-19 situation, but happened to stop at the Precinct Line store in Hurst the other day, and found their shelves to be well-stocked by comparison. read more

Tell your racist deli people when I ask for fried chicken I'm pointing at, that they first off, don't look at me with a brain dead look on their face and ask me to repeat myself 4 times. This is the nicest Walmart. Much better than those in FTW and Arlington. Always clean and easy to shop in.

I avoid this Wal-Mart. It's always dirty, most staff is usually rude if we actually need help, and the lines are ridiculous.

I am so upset with WalMart!!! I spent a lot of time shopping online, then stayed up until midnight on Tuesday to get a delivery spot and thought I was set to get my ordered delivered on Friday morning (Wal-Mart sent emails confirming my delivery time between 8-9 am). Friday morning I got up and got ready for my order to be delivered, checked my phone for updates and guess what??? At 4:28 in the morning I received a message that they cancelled my order. What the heck? If they didn't have time for me why was I allowed to select a time spot for delivery? Why wait until 3 1/2 hours before I was supposed to get my delivery? After I waited days for this delivery they decided they didn't have time for me??? Shame on you Wal-Mart. This was a totally unacceptable way to treat a customer or former customer now. I could have ordered elsewhere had you told me you didn't have time for me but since you waited till last minute I can't get another order before Easter. In times like this when things are already stressful getting a grocery order should not be something we should have to stress over too. Shameful... read more

This is the only time I ever got on Yelp to see if other people hated a place as much as I do - and apparently they do! I am not a fan of Walmart in general, but if you go to WM, you know what to expect. It's not going to be fancy or nice. So keep in mind that my hating of Walmart is specifically about this location, measured against other locations of WM. And if you think WM has an already low bar, this location will let you see just how low it can go. I have actually been reduced nearly to the point of tears while waiting in line here, just because it moves at a supernaturally slow speed. I think the employees here have competitions over who can work the slowest, and apparently there are a lot of very worthy competitors. If you simply cannot avoid going here, make sure you plan 20-30 minutes to get through checkout. Pick up some wine at the store because you'll definitely need a drink or three by the time you leave. read more

We have TRAINED employees that shop for your items, and dont worry they pick out the FRESHEST produce POSSIBLE! i say that because come on....its not SPROUTS! so all you have to do is drive up to the grocery side of the store and we bring it out and load it into your vehicle. We do ask if you want your eggs or bread up front. Our store here at 1178 is #1 in customer service in the DFW AREA....and thats a proven statistical fact! For first timers we do give you a gift bag! If youd like to save yourself the frustration and stress of dealing with bad customer service and long lines....by all means use our service! A creppy man hanging out in the women's shoe section tried to try on my shoes, (he wasn't a part of the staff) I told the manager about it and she handled it very well and professional. The Pharmacy inside this walmart charges higher prices then I found elsewhere. Plus their staff is quite mannerless. I have had bad experiences. One, there was this white gal working in the Pharmacy and who kept staring at me while I was shopping elsewhere in the store! Staring at customers who are shopping in the store and without any reason is bad customer service, Second, there is this man Hussein who works at pharmacy who constantly stares at me when I visit the store. I have seen him may be more then once when he was exiting the store while I was coming in and he was mocking me! I don't know him and I don't know why he would behave rudely. I do not recommend this pharmacy. As for the store itself, when you need help there is no one who is around or if there is anyone they pretend that you are not there! They just don't seem to care. The lines are long and you just stand and wait while some workers just seem to be walking around doing little. This store is badly managed. read more

I absolutely hate this Wal-Mart. I was a customer here and I worked here for a couple of days I got so fed up I walked out. The employees are rude and the managers don't give a crap nanyone. they don't train you at all they just hire you make you wait 2 weeks then put you out there. Then when you need help there isn't nobody around. Everyone is "busy". This is one of the dirtiest, worst kept Wal-Marts Ive ever been to. I hate having to shop here, but cant always make it over to Grapevine to their nice one or I need something the Wal Mart Neighborhood Market doesnt carry. The cashiers are very slow, though I have had good experiences at least interacting (a few of them are very friendly) with them on the occasion that their self checkout is too backed up. Self check out can be a problem here, too. When the machines arent working properly, it can take a while for an employee to step in to help & usually they don't even acknowledge you when they approach the machine. They do always correct the problem, quickly, but when you say thank you & smile, youre saying it to the back of their head because they cant get away fast enough to deal with the five other problems that piled up in their absence. As someone who appreciates good, polite customer service, this seems like a real shame, to me. I really want to like this supermarket, but Ive been shopping there for almost 2 years & nothing has improved. read more

store manager is terrible and the assistant managers are somewhat helpfull if the store manager lets them do their job !!! the automotive employees are very helpfull and the electronic department employees are always helpfull and go out of their way to help !!! My experience in the sporting goods department is terrible because there is never anyone there to help you, and it is the same in the lawn and garden area. my complaint is that there are not enough employees to do all the work there is and I see these few employees being over worked and getting in trouble if things aren't done. Wake up store manager !!! You can't expect employees to get everything done and give good customer care although your employees are doing their best !!! The store manager is so controlling that the employees can not do what needs to be done. I feel bad for the employees here ! They need the home office to step in and put someone to work undercover ! read more

This Walmart needs some serious help training managers and staff on customer service and how to run all of their departments. I went in for a hunting license after getting off work, I asked the clerk in sporting goods if he could help me, he proceeded to tell me he would find someone who knows how to. He returns after a few seconds and says " the manager said to come back at 8am nobody can do it right now". With a confused look on my face I said are you serious? He says "for real man" then walks away. I go to find the manager and ask why I have to return the next morning and she gave me a line about its specific numbers that have to be entered and there is only one staff member that has access to it. Now why in all the years that Walmart has been selling hunting licenses dose only one staff member have access to the information Needed? I will not be giving Walmart my business for hunting licenses any more and I will definitely not be returning to this Walmart. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR MANAGEMENT, THIS STORE NEEDS A SERIOUS STAFF EVALUATION. read more
