The employees are brain dead losers who have nothing better to do other than Carry conversations on and on ignoring costumers in need. A few employees have mistreated me, my mom and my brother multiple times. From one woman yelling at my brother who's is "special'. To totally manipulating one of their own employees to not talking to my mom. The Said employee is special too. Her and my mom knows each other from a family friend. This place has got to have the worst employees imaginable. I don't expect five star service from a place like Walmart. But manipulating and totally mistreating their own customers. This place is a huge dumpster fire. The fact that this has happened so many times without repercussions is unbelievable. They then expect you to give them 5 Stars. Employees are vigilant about telling customers to keep their masks on. But I stood off to the side just to monitor 2 employees wiping down registers. Ummm hello!!!! If you use the same cloth and walk to the registers after a customer leaves, never changing the court, never using any type of cleaner. As good as it gets. When you think of Walmart I think of quantity not quality. With that in mind it's kind of like a huge dollar store. It reminds me of Zayre back in the 80's. I came here to get an oil change right when they opened at 8 am. I was the second person in line and it took them an hour and a half. The first person was out in 30 minutes. I literally watched them do nothing for like 30 minutes and a 10 minutes oil change took another 30 minutes. I don't see how this is possible when they weren't busy and I was the 2nd person in line. I come to this Walmart all the time with my fiancé because I like it better than the Rockford location. It's cleaner and selection is better, but unfortunately I don't believe I will be returning here. On the way out today my fiancé and I were asked to show our receipt to make sure we paid for everything? It was completely unnecessary and offensive. We didn't bag certain items like iced tea and a big case of water obviously and the person at the door rescanned them to verify. All we had was food and drinks and some other snacks. I don't know what they thought we were stealing but as paying customers we don't ever want to return. read more

Slowest employee at checkout. Had to enough time to write a review while she was taking her sweet time scanning. It really takes her 1 minute to scan 5 ITEMS smh. Even though she looked like she was in her 60's the old lady next to her could go faster. read more

They really just don't care is the overall feeling you get. Like a product? Good luck in it being in the same spot or being discontinued next visit. You get the feeling the workers are not treated well by the lackluster, downtrodden look they all have. It's generally kinda dirty. In a hurry, be assured there will be very few cash registers open, even on busy holidays so they can pinch pennies and pay the share holders the big bucks. We don't have many choices to grocery shop out here as the other mom and pop places have been closed. Sooooo, oh well. Not happy! PS Avoid most produce as much has mold or rot, esp. the onions and oranges. You can tell it's bought 3rd rate, thus the very short shelf life. PSS Our car was hit while we were shopping, never did find out who did it. They were not helpful with the security footage. read more

I must say, this store is probably one of thee nicest I've seen. It is always clean, well stocked and plenty of knowledgeable employees. Always a pleasant shopping trip with rarely, if ever, an item I could not find. With that said; KUDOS on the all-around AWESOME shopping experiences with your pick-up & online shopping experiences. The personal shoppers and department managers are not just extremely well-trained and professional but polite, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. ALL of the employees I have encountered in this department are TERRIFIC, even when their computer systems and phones were down. True story! (The employee wrote everything down and shopped from a list.) This is truly an A+++ operation, from start to finish. Seriously, I've had some pretty large orders and (hoping not to jinx myself here) NEVER a missing item, EVER! Never an overcharge/undercharge. Never a disappointing item. Never a product close to expiration date. Never anything shy of pure excellence. Prices are great, too. They do not even charge for this service. Unbelievable! I can't tell you how many times I have forgotten a bag or item and left at the store. (Who hasn't, right?!) Several times I have timed this entire experience from the time of arrival using their shopper app, NEVER more than 1-2 minutes until I see my personal shopper come outside with my entire order. From start to finish, the entire experience 'may' take 8-10 minutes total. Honest! Imagine getting your entire holiday meal (ALL of it!), some Christmas gifts and all your cleaning & household items brought to your vehicle, loaded-up and gone within 10 minutes. It is a FANTASTIC experience! ...Not to mention an ENORMOUS time saver. This is TRULY a wonderful idea with the best trained individuals for the job. My experience at this Walmart is generally never good, but today takes the cake. The store is a disaster. Constantly out of everything I'm looking for. The fact that there are limited cashiers is insane due to opening all the self serve check-outs. The lines are so long and because of that the main aisle is so completely blocked with people and it's hard to get around them. The lack of staff is not anyone's fault, but it sucks that there's never enough help. Considering the lines are so long to check-out with a real person Walmart should take into consideration of putting an employee there who is fast enough to do the check-out. The process of checking out today was quite painful due to the fact that the guy was so ridiculously slow. He seemed disinterested in being there and you could tell he was a bit overwhelmed and unhappy. Even though he turned out being a nice guy, I don't think that cashiering is the right job for him. To make things more painful, I was purchasing a bottle of wine and we had to wait to get someone over 21 to check me out. Regardless if it's a busy day at this store or not, trying to find someone to check me out when purchasing alcohol is completely nuts! More employees over 21 need to be given the ability to help check customers out with alcohol. Also, the whole thing about being stopped when trying to leave the store if you don't have something bagged is ludicrous. If all your stuff is bagged and you're trying to exit the store you usually have to try to sneak around people to get out because the people who do get stopped to have their receipts checked are all stopped right in front of a high traffic area. I have just about rammed into someone on a couple of different occasions. This store has literally gone to shit. If it weren't literally two minutes away from my house, I probably would never have continued shopping here. After today's visit, I think it's time I just suck it up and drive to Rockford for even my most simplest of needs. And another thing, after all the changes made in the store goes as far as product placement, everything just seems to be a giant mess. Everything looks disorganized and all main aisles are just filled with crap that gets in the way of navigating through the store. I am so beyond over this place. Oh and I just remembered another thing, I don't want to have to wait so insanely long to check-out with a real person, but when I have more than 10 or 15 items and degenerative disc disease which limits my range of motion with my back, I don't feel I should be penalized having to wait so long to be checked out by a real person because I can't always do self check-out myself. And even though a lot of this is corporate bullshit, this Walmart still needs to get its act together. Hopefully whoever reads this (if anyone even reads this) forwards this on to the district manager or to corporate or to anyone who might be able to listen to the consumer. Visiting my boyfriend's family from NYC, I was giddy when we passed a Walmart and asked if we could stop. When asked what I needed from Walmart I squeeled GLADWARE. We also got my boyfriend swim trunks because we forgot to pack them. I didn't want to buy more than I could fit in my carry on bag but I was very satisfied with my Gladware purchase and snack items I picked up along the way. I love how inexpensive Walmart is, especially in comparison to NYC prices. Either you love or you hate Walmart but I lean towards love. This location isn't so huge that you get lost and I didn't feel overwhelmed like I can feel in the superstores. I vote for opening a Walmart in NYC but who knows if that will ever happen given the current war going on over it. Sigh. read more

It's usually easy to park,and they keep the checkout lines moving fairly well. It's cleaner than most of the Walmarts in the Rockford area, and much faster to checkout and pay. Otherwise, your typical Walmart. read more

This Wal-Mart store is nothing special. It always has everything in stock and their grocery side is above others I've been to. My main complaints are in the automobile service area, check outs, and lack of personality from employees. On countless times in the auto service I have been turned away from getting an oil change because they are too busy. Quick solution: hire more workers. The cashiers are always understaffed which results in them having terrible attitudes towards customers. Also, most of the cashiers don't seem to be too bright on how to bag certain items. They either put the wrong things in the same bag or they put too few items in each bag. My last little annoyance is 9 out of 10 times there are no carrying baskets available. Some of us don't need a big cart and prefer to carry a basket to fill. I knows it's my lucky day if I walk into Wally-World and see one sitting there for me to grab. Overall it's a decent store but little things need attention given too it. Nothing like a little bit of proper management training wouldn't be able to fix. read more

Needed tires. Called them to verify cost out the door for the size I needed. Told them I would have someone bring the car around in the morning. I received a text from the person dropping off my car that the price was much higher than what I was quoted so I had them put one of the service people on the phone and I was told the inventory of the tires I wanted what's wrong and the only tire that they had in my size what's going to be $35 more per tire I asked why they didn't tell that to the person dropping off my car and I was basically told well that's the only Tire they have so that's the only price they have also told me that if I wanted the tire I originally called about I could just call around to all the Walmarts and see if they had it. I was under some time constraints to get this done so i decided to get the more expensive Tire then I was given a new price for the tires including everything out the door when my friend got done paying for the tires it was $46 more and what I was quoted I come to find out there's a lot of charges that they work into what they call their lifetime tire rotation charge when I didn't like was when I asked for a price out the door I meant to get out of your place what will it cost me and I was misquoted either the place is very badly run or there's a bunch of crooks there read more

China-mart . . . enough said. You get what you pay for. Only good point is store hours (24 / 7). Never buy their beef. Poor quality. OK to buy staples. Most of Staff really doesn't care to help much . . . and that's if you can find someone to help. Isles are not marked very well. read more

Terrible experience on 10/28 at 7pm. Janitor cleaning womens restroom saw me standing there and proceeded into the restroom for about 10 minutes to clean. He came out where I was still waiting to use the restroom, and acted a little defensive. He told me he was cleaning and to go to the back. I asked him how long he would be, and he said a long time, at least 15 more minutes. He was clearly taking his time. I asked why he didn't tell me that 10 minutes ago, and if I could use it really fast. He told me no, and was pretty rude. He needs to be taught basic customer service skills, and you should have a sign up saying your restroom will be closed for 30-minutes due to cleaning. Does it really take 30-minutes at 7pm to clean a restroom? read more

produce is DISGUSTING! found 3 containers of strawberries with mold in them! store is NEVER stocked!! managers walk around with their noses in the air forgetting that WE give them their pay checks.
