On Monday, March 9, I visited both Kohl's and Target in Biddeford, Maine, but neither had a razor like that. The sales associate at Target mentioned that most brands don't make them anymore and suggested I try Walmart next door. At Walmart, it wasn't easy to browse since most of the men's razors were on the upper shelves, and I use a wheelchair. Fortunately, I met a very kind employee named Irial who was stocking shelves. She listened carefully when I explained what I needed and took the time to help -- lifting down one box after another until we finally found exactly what I was looking for: a Remington R3 razor with a sliding on/off switch. I can't say enough about Irial's patience and kindness. She went above and beyond to make sure I could find the right product. I truly hope Walmart recognizes employees like her and continues hiring helpful, compassionate staff read more

Visited on 7/23/23. This Walmart Super Center is just that......pretty super. Extremely well stocked and very clean. Groceries, automotive section, just about anything for your home and decent prices to boot. What's not to like in these trying financial times with inflation creeping up by the day. read more

If I could give a lower review I would.. stopped in the Biddeford store to grab a few items to finish our Xmas shopping. Just needed some chocolates and 4 gift cards for the grandkids. We selected 4 of the reloadable visa cards. That say 20-500 max... I've gotten them before. I handed them to a manager named Joseph who was actually on a register. I said I'd like to do these separate from my other items...he said how much. And I said just 100 on each. To which he said I could only do a max off 200.. I said no just 100 on each. He said thw store policy os no more than 200 in gift cards to prevent fraud. Now me and my wife are clean and well dressed in our mid 50s. Nothing about us says schetchy.. after a few pleasantries. Seemed like this manager just covering a register didn't want to process the gift cards. It may not be much. BUT WE WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THE Biddeford walmart again. This review pertains to the Tire Center only. As a first time customer to the Biddeford Walmart tire center, I did not know what to expect when it comes to where to go/park/check in, etc. After my arrival, followed the auto care signs down to the bays, and I ended up parking in front of a bay labeled "tire" because I was getting tires mounted. I figured I'd park, go in and check to see where I need to be, then go out and move my car accordingly. A polite man came out and asked me to move my car to a parking spot before the entrance, I say "no problem" and move my car, all is good. As I walk in the door to try to figure out where to go, I see a cash register on my right at the very corner of the bays' garage, and a door perpendicular to it that does say "enter" but also had a bunch of other things written on it so it was hard to distinguish if I needed to go in there to check in, or if I did it at the register. Again, I have never been here before. I see a man looking at me from the bays, so I figure he's going to try to help, so I just motion to the door and say "I check in here?" To which he says, in the *most* condescending tone EVER, "read the directions on the door. What do they say? They say EN-TER, right? So ENTER." He says it very slowly, enunciating each word for emphasis, like I'm a child or something. I legit couldn't believe it. I just laughed out of disbelief and entered the door to check in. Seething with anger, I try to hold it together to check in without drama. Steve at the check-in was extremely professional, and walked me through each step of the check in. All the while I'm trying to figure out the words to relay what just happened, wondering if it was worth it to even mention, and in the end, I very calmly and neutrally told him the events of what happened. He apologizes, and then says "guy with a big beard?" I say yes, and he apologizes once more and says "we've told him repeatedly not to interact with the customers." And THEN another gentleman in the waiting area chimes in with another story of his own involving the same individual. I'm again stunned. I call my boyfriend to vent, since he's been here before and had highly recommended them for service, and he says "oh yeah, I had a very similar interaction with him before." As I wander through the store waiting for my car to be done, I wonder how the rest of my interaction will go with this particular tire center. I'm rating it two stars ONLY because Steve was the kindest, most professional person to interact with and that deserves more than a 1 star rating. At this point though, otherwise, it's a no from me, dawg. Will update review after completion of service. UPDATE: unfortunately, and this is soooo against my nature, I ended up trusting the Walmart online tool that indicated which size tires I needed to buy for my car and never double checked. Welp, I wasted an hour circling Walmart (with no cell service) only to return and find out they were the wrong tires. Luckily, the nice guy (who now that I think about it, Steve might not be his name, on the quote for the new tires it says Damian, so maybe that was his name?) got me a new quote and offered to get them installed but it was double what I paid online so I politely declined. I was very impressed with his customer service, it's unfortunate one bad apple had to spoil the whole bunch for me. I ended up returning the tires then and there and bought a new correct set via the online app from my car in the parking lot. They'll be in next week and I've already made an appointment for installation at another Walmart location. I will never return to this tire center location again. read more

Under impressed with the pick-up service. I placed my order with Walmart and they had available pick-up from 8-9am this morning. My items came out to $38 and change This morning at 5:52am I get a email saying I need to approve the substitutes and get it back asap and I return it shortly after 6am I show up around 810am and park. Call inside and wait. The store associate comes out and asks where I'd like my groceries and I said back seat and I have recycled bags to put my groceries in. Within seconds my groceries are in and he says I'm all set to go and he's gone. I get home and open the door and my 4 biggest items (Arizona Watermelon) are on the floor. He put everything else in 1 bag , all laid flat on top of each other. I had ordered a quart of eggnog (box carton) which was on the bottom, 1/2 gallon of milk which was on top of the eggnog, 3 containers of creamer on top of the milk and eggnog and finally 3 pints of coffee milk which were on top of everything. My backseat had at least 25 recycled bags so he could have used multiple bags instead of cramming everything into 1. He could have easily stood up the drinks and gotten them into 1 bag, granted it would have been extremely heavy but apparently at Walmart they prefer to jam it all into 1 bag and crushing everything. It's now almost 2pm and the final cost was $32.69 ( they originally took $38 and change) and I'm still waiting for Walmart to credit my account for the balance Walmart is definitely getting worse by the day read more

The practice of checking people's receipts at the door is not only insulting but creates a bottleneck at the door. They never used to do this before the self-service lanes. The worst kind of management is those that lack the capability to deal with the issue individually but choose instead to instill blanket policy like treat all your customers like thieves. This is the best Walmart I've ever been to in my life. --crafts section with fabric and craft goodies that rivals a small JoAnn --tons of Pioneer Woman stuff (yes, I love PW it's my one brand Thing shut up let me have it) --everything is neat, organized, and generally well-stocked --enough registers on Scan n Go AND cashier check out (and all friendly) with very little wait --did not smell like a Subway --great selection of windshield wipers --all floor staff were nice and knowledgeable I now believe in unicorns and plan to go buy a lottery ticket. read more

Walmart advertised having a $349 pc for sale for $59 on it's website. Fine print precised that it was only available in stock at the Biddeford location. Luckily I called them before driving over, as I found out that they do not even carry the item. It saved me 2 hours of driving. This is a classic example of Walmart click bait false advertising. They just want to lure you in showing up so that you end up buying something. We need to boycott Walmart, which (alongside with Amazon) is ruining our economy. read more

I was in dire need of preparation h, my hemorrhoids were a-raging, I was in constant pain as they became worse and worse. I looked everywhere, high, low, side to side. Nothing. But then, it dawned on me, the store given to us by angels, my local Biddeford Walmart. I was struck with this feeling relief as I was certain that the perfect store had what I needed. And I was not wrong, they had plenty of preparation h. And I was finally happy as I was finally able to rub the ointment in my bottom upon the irritated spots. Life is finally good, after curing my hemorrhoids, I met the love of my life and had three kids, all thanks to Walmart! Thank you, Biddeford Walmart for changing my life. read more

Wonderful experience shopping at the Biddeford Super Walmart. A gentleman noticed I was looking for a particular item, and he offered to check out back in their storage to see if they had more to bring out. He was so kind and helpful and he found the item I was looking for out back in the warehouse. He went above and beyond to help assist me and I just want to say thank you for hiring such great people! This gentleman was stocking the juice and coffee in the fridge. I wish I had caught his name. Thanks for being so helpful! read more

I wanted to rate Walmart in Biddeford, as I saw on Google Maps that it's yelp was pretty low. Honestly, this is one of the best Walmart locations due to the customer service. My husband and I registered at amazon and bed bath and beyond, but now we've been buying everything at Walmart. Their prices are way lower and they've been extremely competent and helpful when needing to exchange or return items. Amazon has sent us some pretty terrible stuff and BBB has been a slight nightmare with returns. We bought our blender, microwave, 55" tv, dish towels, flatware, measuring spoons, step ladder, trash bins, etc. here at Walmart because they're way better than the ones we received elsewhere. Of course at any store there will be less than helpful workers, but two of the older men (ones a greeter and the other is in customer service) were absolutely incredible! read more

i was close to biddeford walmart. i had bought tire during the black friday sale. i bought them in scarborough. i would have waited for a long time to have them installed the same day. along with the tires, i was able to have mounting and balancing included. i was near biddeford walmart so decided to go there to get the tires mounted. once the young lady checked me in, she said there would be a charge of $15/each for the tires to be mounted. i asked why that was when installation was included. she asked a manager over. he told me that if i got the deal at scarborough walmart that would have to be where i get the tires mounted and balanced. there was nothing he could do for me. what!!!???? i thought walmart was walmart. not happy here. i went to the walmart in scarborough and was told i had a 3 hour wait. i think this is ridiculous!!!!! read more

I live in Biddeford and have to shop at Walmart quite frequently. I decided to buy my son a bike for his birthday from Walmart. This was a mistake. I figured a bike is a bike, where I got it from didn't matter right? Wrong! My son picked out a bike he liked,cost $100 not bad for a 10 yr olds bike. Within a week of use,the tire popped(they pumped to much air in the tires when they gave it to me) the seat ripped, it just started falling apart. I watched my son riding his bike, he wasn't rough on it, he has never had any issues in past with bikes. I attempted to call a manager at Walmart but they would put me on hold and after 10 minutes I hung up still waiting and called back and exactly the same thing happened! So I just brought the bike and receipt back. The manager I got was Jim, who proceeds to tell me it's all my sons fault. I had the bike less than a week! Seriously! He couldn't care less that I couldn't get anyone on the phone,and said fine I will fix the tire that's it. I didn't want my money back, I wanted a bike for my son!So he takes the bike,gets my phone #,and tells me he will call when it's fixed.2 weeks later my son keeps asking me about his bike, I can't get anyone to talk to me cause I just sit on hold waiting forever. So I go down there and get told the bike repair guy in on vacation and they don't know when he will be back! So I am given another manager(thank god, Jim was awful)Chris who proceeds to apologize for the call issues and the bike issues (this is the 1st apology I have received mind you)He says he will get it done today even if he has to do it himself. I finally think something is getting done.Wrong...3 days later I again am calling trying to find out what's going on with my sons bike. Meanwhile,my son is telling me constantly to never get a bike from here again and asked if we could just get it back and he'd fix it. Again I go down there and speak with another manager,Brittney I believe.I explain everything to her,she apologizes and said how about you just pick out another bike as an exchange? Finally someone trying to help solve this issue. I said ok just let me get my son so he can pick it out.She said she would leave a note for the associates to explain if she was gone. I came back later with my son,picked out a bike and when I brought it up to the service desk they acted like I was trying to steal the damn thing! It was exactly the same price as the 1st bike,what's the problem?This was ridiculous!!! My advice, buy as little as you have to here and...stay away from the bikes! read more
