This walmart is okay at best. They have a decent selection of stuff within each department. Right now they are remodeling the checkouts so thats a mess and made some long checkout lines. Also the bathrooms are dirty. read more

My wife went to go get a nail pulled out of her tire and she was told it was in and unrepairable area. Before she left I told her not to let them tell her that. They did and we went somewhere else to get the tire repaired. The automotive department are absolutely crooks. Barely a 1 Star on customer Service! I will not give my dollars to this Business anymore. Returned an item and credit was voided - sounds like internal fraud. Trying to receive my credit was nearly impossible but 4th trip worked. "Thank You CS Manager for refunding my money i appreciate it." This was NOT a bunch of money but it's the principle. I frequent this walmart and I have to say my experience this morning was excellent. I visited around 9:30am and almost every team member acknowledged me and said hello. Janet, my cashier, was very friendly and made small talk while checking out my items. This Walmart is always clean and well stocked. I also use the pharmacy and they are a great team, even with how busy and short staffed they are. It would be great if they could get more pharmacist and tech hours. read more

It's a Walmart. In Cedar Park, so you can't expect too much. Experiences have generally been good, but the quality out of the automotive section can change - I've had one vehicle damaged (they paid for the repair) and have brought tires in only to be turned away as "we don't do mount trailer tires". Best produce of any Walmarts in the area for sure, good muffins and bread from Bakery. Have heard a lot of complaining about walmart.com. or online ordering. Sometimes it says it's available at the store and it really isn't. This is a glitch in the system/program and beyond their control. Went in today to grab a video game for my husband. I gotta say, I am definitely not one to grab a manager and let them know about a team member who assisted me but I had to today. There was a gentleman named Dee working in the electronics section, and he was hands down the nicest person I have encountered while holiday shopping. When I went to Texas last month to visit my sister one of the first things I wanted to do was visit a Wal-Mart Superstore. I figured this would be the home base for everything I envisioned Texas to be, I was not disappointed. First of all, nothing in Texas is small. Their Wal-Mart's aren't just Wal-Mart's, they are "Wal-Mart SUPERstores" I believe in my heart that the idea of the "supersize menu" came from Texas. There was SO much store to explore that I really didn't think that 9 days would be enough time to cover it! Its ingenious really, a place where you can get your tires changed, get your family portrait taken, while eating your super size McDonalds and your Venti coffee from starbucks. Get a life time supply of groceries in case a democratic president gets elected and kills everyone, and a gun to protect yourself, complete with "Jesus loves Texas" and "Bush is King" stickers (not joking here people!), and if you forget to grab your maternity shirt and wife beater tank top for your husband, you can grab it on the way out! They have it all here! I made sure to dress like a "Texan" as to not be identified as a Californian and even worse a Californian from San Francisco- I went equipped with my black wife beater tank top, my ripped jeans and brought my 2 year old niece along for show and let her eat powdered donuts straight out of the bag while pushing her in the cart, thus making little white hand prints all over my fabulous ta-tas. I got more compliments in one turn around the store then I have since I moved into the city, and I am never short! There were an abundance of helpful people out and about on this particular Sunday. One gentleman with the tightest jeans I have ever seen (I am still not sure they weren't paint) complete with chewing tobacco followed me around helping me find the isle with the Pork Reins and Butter. The checker that rang up all of my purchases (I decided against the Pork and butter) had hair SO high and so stiff that I pondered how she got in and out of cars. When I told her that my niece was not my daughter, and that I was only 26 she replied that "don't worry dahlin, I am sure you will have a litter of your own someday" WTF!? I can only assume by my expression that she thought I was having problems conceiving, because it is impossible that a 26 year old female would willingly take birth control. And finally, the woman (? i think) in Customer service, that was 400 lbs and business in the front, but let loose enough to have a party in the back, a female MULLET! GEM! GOLD! SCORE! TEXAS RULES! She cut the tags off my sunglasses. This gave me away though, as I had 2 people comment on the way out that they just "don't understand those Hollywood type glasses, must be a California thing." Walmart doesn't care about its customers! Just caught COVID-19 and came to pick up groceries, just having them leave them next to the car. Never did this before. They gave me a pickup window of 7-8pm. Got there enjoy 7:45, pulled into a "pick-up" spot, but the app wasn't responding. So called number, but no one answered. Drove around looking for the pick up section and found it. Called their phone number to advise I was there to pick up my groceries. They said they were closed. I said I was given a window of 7-8pm and even though I initially went to the pharmacy p/u (my first time trying pickup) I still got the the right place and called before 8pm. Was told it was 8pm and they were closed. I had to pick them up by 7:59pm. I told them I was just diagnosed with COVID-19 and I needed my groceries. He still refused, so I said, so I have to go in there myself and take a chance of getting people sick, which he didn't care about. Obviously I didn't, but I'll NEVER SHOP AT THE CEDAR PARK WALMART AGAIN, EVEN WHEN MY FAMILY RECOVERS!! read more

I've worked in retail for almost 25 years, at both large corporations and small businesses. In the retail industry (and in business in general), providing friendly service and an enjoyable shopping experience is extremely important in building a customer base and attracting and retaining those customers. Just like most people out there, I've had some pretty bad experiences as well as some good ones. But when I have a great one I always try to let people know about it. At this Wal-Mart location I'd like to commend one employee in particular and the store staff as a whole. Sean, who works in the electronics department, has twice now been so friendly and helpful. Several months ago I went in looking for a prepaid cell phone and service and as soon as I walked up he looked up, greeted me and cheerfully asked how he could help me! He helped me select a phone and service plan (LG Phoenix 4 with AT&T) and assisted with the setup process. Also engaged me in conversation and it's obvious to me that it wasn't just a scripted "How's your day going" chat. I left feeling very pleased. And about 2 weeks ago I went back and was happy to see him working again. Once more he gave an outstanding customer experience. I know personally how demanding and frustrating it can be to work in a large retail store environment and when an employee goes above and beyond I HAVE to compliment them. Thank you Sean! And also thanks to some of the other employees at that store and to one of the store managers, Trey (I'm not certain of the spelling) for being friendly and helpful. Why do I keep giving this store chances?? I stayed away for a long time, because the service was terrible. If you're going to have a bell at the fabric cutting area, you need to have someone there to cut the fabric. I rang the bell several times and waited 20 minutes. I ended up cutting my own fabric and taking it to the front. I told the cashier, no one would show up. So I waited many months before returning. Now when I leave this store, they make me stand in a little line to show my receipt before I can leave. YOU ARE NOT COSTCO!!! If you have a loss problem, then you need to train your staff better at loss prevention and stop selling crap to attract undesirable customers. I don't see Target up the street asking for receipts before I can go out the door. I have done nothing to indicate that I should be stopped to prove I purchased my items, which have been bagged by your employee!!! Terrible customer service! Went to the gun counter to buy 2 boxes of ammo. Waited for 30 minutes for eye contact from the employee. Assistant manager came over to help, oh no, not to help the other customers waiting, to help the employee with something else. At least ask the customer "hey, how are you? I'll be right with you." Terrible experience this past weekend at Walmart Superstore, 201 Walton Way, Cedar Park, TX 78613. I had a return within 30 days of purchase. The initial purchase was a request from a store associate who recommended I buy the item and return if there were any issues. After accepting the recommendation of the associate, the product turned out to be defective - appears to be the low quality of the product. I returned to the store and narrated the issue to customer service - was told that based on their policy, my only resort was to hold on to the item - no option for a refund or store credit. Based on their policy, my only resort was to get a replacement and since they had none at the store, drive from one Walmart store to another till I could find one - BLATANT DISRESPECT FOR CUSTOMER'S TIME. I finally accosted a manager onsite (Daniel, a team lead) and relayed the story to him. He asked for the name of the store associate, which I obviously didn't have. Initially, he appeared to help me but then finally repeated the same spill from customer service - drive from store to store till I could find a replacement. Nothing could be done onsite. What kind of a return policy is this? I left their product for them at the location. Now, they have the returned product as well as my money. I'm boycotting Walmart going forward - would rather spend my money and resources at a place that values its customers. The store manager, Michael, wasn't onsite, and I was told to get his contact info from the front of the office location, but that as well was unavailable. Treat your customers better and improve your return policy! There are so many alternative options to the products you sell. read more

stay away from buying a phone from the walmart store another company handles that and it was the biggiest sh*t show ever. i had to return 3 times to try and get the sprint phone working. they call sprint and then try to port your current phone number took hours of wait time it was quite a joke the next day i went and the guy still could not get it working after 2 hours he just told me to visit a sprint store can you believe that so i leave and i gave up i said i'm returning this dumb phone and i'm going back to straight talk. also they lie to you if you give them your social they will run a credit report they said it was soft it would not the guy straight lied. i am very happy with straight talk and prepaying all day never never never go with sprint their customer service lines does not allow you to talk to someone and then cut you off and never buy phones from walmart they really don't know what they are doing sadly. walmart in general is a ok store you can't make this sh*t up!!!!! read more

Their customer service is disgusting . I called to check the price of some tires and the first time I called I got hung up on. And I did assume it was an accident because accidents happen so I called again and someone picked up the phone and then transferred me to the auto department where this women rudely told me the line was busy so I politely asked her if I could be put on hold. Now I pride myself on being polite to everyone cause it's the nice thing to do but this women was short and rude with me and when she finally picked the phone back up after I was on hold for 20 minutes it was to hang up on me. So I once again called and got sent back to the auto department where she picked up the phone and told me with clear agitation that the line was still busy. She then proceeded to talk to someone next to her (possibly a costumer) and then she sneered at me because she had said something but I didn't know if it was at me or the other person so I hadn't answered. I did hang up and I'll definitely make the drive to go elsewhere. I get that costumer service can be hard but that's no excuse to take it out on the costumers. read more

Walmart overall sucks. No customer service, rude employees, and not such great product. With that being said though, I truly love the Cedar Park WalMart. The first time I went in there, an employee asked me if she could help me find something. I had a look of shock on my face I'm sure! That was over 2 years ago. To this day, every time I go in the employees say hello, have a good day, etc. I shop there on regular basis, to where the employees recognize me and strike up friendly conversations. From bottom to top. While you can get most items at Walmart - Cedar Park (usually reasonably priced), the Auto Care Center and store management on Walton Way recently demonstrated that Customer Service is not one of them. All the way from the lowly pony-tailed service technician (in need of a heavy dose of customer service and anger management training) to the under-trained on-duty Service Department manager (11/15) - although she certainly did try her best, up to the Store Management, demonstrated inept efforts in satisfying the lowest level of service to this customer. It was interesting while communicating by telephone with two "store management" personnel that neither person identified themselves or their position at the store during our conversation. The store management have not yet followed up with me by phone or email. That expectation might be a bit high. Recommendation: If you require at least a C- in Customer Service, go elsewhere for basic vehicle services, and shop on-line. read more

This Wal-Mart has very discriminating employees. Mike and Josh specifically. Every company has their own policy I get it let me start off by saying that. Now what since does it make to have a policy where if I come in to the store with my boyfriend that does not look under 21 whatsoever and I get a bottle of wine why do you need his ID for ?? He not once touched the bottle of wine nor is he paying for it. Yet, I look over and see a lady with her teenage daughter touching and scanning the alcohol for her mom yet she never not once got ID ? Mikes excuse was oh well that's her daughter ?? How do you know that ?? There policy doesn't even make sense one bit , then when I ask them to explain so I can record their voice and take them to court they won't speak. I'll tell you right now if people want to give alcohol to their underage children they are going to do it regardless. When I asked the employee what was the difference between us getting the alcohol and the lady with her daughter getting it and touching it they literally said because thats her daughter. Advice for anyone , if you have someone with you that doesn't have their ID on them , just go in the store alone !! You're welcome. read more

After an episode of a dead car battery and a rescue from AAA, I rushed into this Walmart location and pulled up to the Auto department, left my car running and explained my situation to a guy with a tablet thing. I clearly described my situation as that I have a dead battery, I had to get a jump to get here, and if you turn my engine off it will not turn back on. I actually said that 3 times, "it will not turn back on, the battery is dead". I asked the guy twice if they had my battery in stock and he assured me, twice, that they carry everything and it wouldn't be a problem. I left my keys and went inside the store to wander around until I heard my name on the loudspeaker. An hour passed and I never heard my name so I went back to the service department to inquire. I was told that Walmart does not carry my battery and they were mad at me because they couldn't get my car to start and they had to push it out of the way. I was LIVID! I demanded to know why no one called me over the loud speaker or on my cell phone. I explained my dead battery situation multiple time upon arrival but apparently the jackass I talked to was a dipshit. After 30 minutes of demanding a battery jump for my car the service clerk said he would find someone to help. The portable jump starter that belonged to the service department was dead so I had to wait another hour for a service tech to jump start me from his personal vehicle. While this was very nice of the tech and I am appreciative to only him for his assistance, I can not in good faith let this story go untold. I do not trust this Walmart service department and I advise patrons to steer clear of it as well. read more

The Auto service center at this location is horrible. They need to train their service technicians on specs of vehicles. I sent my daughter there to get an oil change on her new truck and they put 9 qts of oil in a vehicle that only holds 6. When questioned on the amount of oil they told her that is what it calls for. If you are smart you will take it somewhere else. On top of that, they can't cut keys right either. read more
