I'm a hater. Just am. I rarely go, and every time I do, I'm sorry. Stuff is cheap-- and it shows. Anything I've ever purchased there has broken far, far before it's time (and I learned my lesson- if it has moving parts, don't buy it at Wal Mart!!!). Food--- some things are cheaper, but not all- I've been surprised at how expensive things like olive oil were, when Superfresh had olive oil on sale for half the price. And produce doesn't look good, meats scare me there, deli is all off brands. Service sucks. If I go, it's to buy cleaning supplies (my wife loves the rug cleaner there for when our dogs have little oopsies-- dog urine, THAT is a Wal-Mart quality issue), rocks for my garden-- stuff that can't break, and where quality isn't that much of a priority. Never going to this walmart again. The employees spend their time socializing and joking around with eachother with total disregard for customers. When you ask for assistance, you get an attitude. I had placed an order with the deli department for our company holiday party well in advance, on the day of the party, when I went to pick up the order, I was told they did not have my order ready and were not going to make it. The store manager and deli manager were rude, very unprofessional, and basically told me I never placed an order and that they do not take orders. A deli department that does not take orders for party food? How is that logical? This store is full of lazy workers that do not want to do anything...from the deli attendant, all the way up to the store manager. read more

My favorite of the three Walmart's in my area. This one is the largest and typically has what I need. It's spacious and clean. Both are important when you're shopping. Since it is 24 hours, I can enjoy a peaceful shopping experience late night/early morning. Friday night is my go-to shopping time. Why? Because no one is really thinking about household shopping at 11pm on a Friday. Yay Me. The photo center the best of the Walmart's around me. I have gotten holiday and graduation picture cards made here, in addition to regular photos. They are always crisp. The management and staff are pretty decent. The 4 star rating is because the produce area has gone down over the couple of years, but I found that is the case among a lot of the walmart's lately. read more

Watch out for rats. Several times my husband and I have seen rats or mice on steroids because they are huge, running through the grocery dept. We understand that it's very difficult to keep such huge stores pest free. However, it should not be a routine thing to see vermin running around in a dept. store. Most of the employees are rude which makes dealing with the rats seem more appealing. Only good thing about this store is the layout and selection as opposed to the walmart closer to home. read more

Not a fan of this location at all. Walmart is definitely the place to go if you want the cheapest prices, but I honestly would rather go somewhere else and pay a bit more than go here. Parking lot is average, the store is generally pretty messy. The employees are not at all helpful, and every time I come to this store there are only a handful of registers open with very, very long lines. On more than a few occasions, I've been waiting in line and have to wait as cashiers leave their registers or hold conversations with other cashiers instead of helping customers. I've been to plenty of other better-run Walmart locations, I just avoid this one like the plague. read more

The only reason I'm even giving this store two stars is because they have two cashiers that are so friendly, courteous and helpful, that even if I'm in a horrible mood, they can get me to crack a smile. Tonight, I went to pick up my son's birthday cake from the bakery. They had a sign up, stating that their hours are 8am-8pm. I arrived at 7:15, and there were no employees to be seen. I waited a couple of minutes, in case someone was in the bathroom, and after 5 minutes, I called out "Hello?" After waiting for 10 minutes, still, no one returned. I called the store, and the employee who answered the phone paged someone to the bakery TWICE. Still, no one returned to the bakery. After waiting 22 minutes, a store manager came to my aid, and she was very pleasant, and apologetic. From now on, I'm ordering cakes from Giant. read more

This walmart: "Let's go buy 30 cash registers and only keep 1-2 open during the night time" I have NOT been satisfied with this Walmart. It seems like I go to this store just to wait in line for a long time-- it seems like they don't put enough people on registers, so lines get longer than I've experienced at other Walmarts (esp at night time). It's a bit frustrating. No wait, it's really frustrating. Not just to me, but to other people I know. My girlfriend hates shopping here just because of how the lines can be. Also, carts build up in the parking lots most of the time and the parking lot seems to always have trash everywhere on it. On the flip side, I've noticed that their customer service has improved slightly... I've had a few people who were stocking shelves that I've walked by ask me if I need any assistance. That's something no employee at Walmart has ever asked me. lol but that's still not good enough Walmart. Get yourself straight!! read more

What has happened to this Wal-Mart! Nightmare is the word that comes to mind. Poorly stocked, filthy and only two full service check-out lines open last night. It took over 45 minutes just to get to the cashier and unfortunately, I have had to deal with this cashier before. She works at the speed of molasses. And despite the long line behind me, she took meticulous time to very slowly add more bags to the bag carousel (which was already full). I tried to get the attention of what appeared to be several floor managers, all of whom ignored me. This associate has no business working as a cashier. read more

Again, Sweet Husband Mine and I ended up having to come here for something that we just couldn't get elsewhere (we're against shopping at Walmart on principle). After the disastrous experience at the Putty Hill location, we were expecting more of the same here. Not so, to our surprise. Two days after Christmas, the store was surprisingly organized, and employees were actually milling around, asking people if they needed assistance. I've never seen this in a Walmart, ever, and with the way their stores usually are, it's no wonder. The store was actually pretty clean, too. No baskets of merchandise lying everywhere. They had a decent clearance section, too. There were about 15 to 20 registers open out of 40 - probably the first time that I've ever seen it. If you have to go to Walmart, this is probably your best bet - it's definitely the cleanest one I've ever been to, with the most helpful employees. Both SHM and I were really surprised. No "people of Walmart" here. Customers were actually pretty well dressed and acted - gasp! - normal. Not bad. read more

This is a nice size Walmart with the best hours! It's open 24 hours a day! So my favorite time to go is late at night. It's usually pretty dead so you don't have to worry about the crowds that you would normally see on weekends. The only issue you'll have at night is the employees restocking the shelves. But hey, at least you'll get first pick of the new merchandise! read more

Seeing as how I just wrote a review for the one in Towson, I figured I should write one for this location. I come out to this store instead of coming to the Towson store. This store is a lot nicer, bigger and the layout is so much easier to navigate. Plus I don't feel like I'm trapped in a game of Frogger when walking through this parking lot. Like others have stated, be prepared to wait for a while in line if you are visiting late at night. They only have a few cashiers on staff and the lines can get really long. Amazing store with pretty good staff. Store is really stocked and especially in the morning when they first open. I can into the store recently to buy some deli and and this younger woman by the name of Jah helped me too perfection. Great service with a positive attitude and also quick and attentive. they get one star for the prices.i went there with my friend who needs a motorized cart and they only had three unusable broken carts left. I asked the host station about it and she said first yelling at me is not going to help. This was definitely one of the nicer walmarts I have ever been too! Typically I have to go to the one in golden ring. Everything was neat and organized the staff was surprisingly fun and friendly! This was the first I have ever had the cashier actually speak to me and ask me about my day and actually seemed to care about me as a customer! When I first began shopping at the Cockeysville location, I thought it was the best Walmart in the Baltimore area. However, it has gone downhill since then. The grocery and health/beauty areas are never stocked fully; and there are never enough cashiers available at checkout. I have now started using the self-checkout, however, that usually has long lines or machines are down. Also, no one ever answers the phone no matter what time I call during regular business hours. Your customer service area is also packed with returns and lines are always long. Your customer service associates are not the most courteous sometimes either. I recently lost my cell phone in your store and I left another number to contact me if it was found. I did not hear from anyone and again I called several times, with no answer. I do not live that close to this location, but I travel to get a better Walmart experience than the inner city because this location is the largest. I know that during COVID you've had to change your hours and have been short staffed, but there needs to be better scheduling, staffing and organization. read more

It's clean, and it has food, which is convenient. It's also huge, which would be fine, but it's almost TOO big. It's like the store is so massive that you would think they would have more stuff, but what you really get is that the main aisles are larger, and there are about 30 cash registers, but never more than 4 open at once. You will always wait in line at Walmart, and it would be so easy to just have more cashiers, but instead, there are a ton of unused registers. Stock is always surprisingly low on a lot of things. I mean, like half of the aisle is empty space on the shelves. So really it's a huge store filled with a lot of nothing. It's great for makeup and bathroom items, but if you genuinely tried to grocery shop here or you're looking for more than an expanded rite aid-type of selection, go to Target or Wegmans instead. read more

Upon returning 6 hours later was told " it isn't ready yet". This came from one of the rudest counter people imaginable. How does a person like this get hired ? How can they be allowed to stay on. The pharmacy in this Wal Mart is terrible. I transferred a prescription from another location and was argued with about it by pharmacy staff. Online it clearly states that the prescription expires on 8/22/2015, and two separate employees told me it had expired. Unless they have perfected time travel, my prescription is not expired. I was not called when their was an issue, was told they would call my doctor to get an updated prescription, then was told a few days later that they don't do that. Went to get myself a new laptop. It was just a $450 laptop, nothing fancy (like they even have a fancy one). The lady asked for my ID, even though I remembered buying one from a Walmart in WV, they never asked for one. Not only did she ask for my ID, she started asking her fellow employees around if my ID was "fake or real." That was pretty insulting. Did they really need to see your ID in order for you to buy a laptop? After such experience, I don't think I will ever go back there until their employees learn how to show respect to their customers. read more

While this store has an excellent selection of products, you can never ask for help because the employees are all gathered like a flock of geese in areas where their managers cannot see them. The other caveat of this Walmart is how mysteriously non-sale items wind up on clearance carts without price tags. You need a phone app to shop here because so many items do not have prices on them. They probably figure you will be too embarrassed to reject the item at the cash register regardless of the cost. Best time for shopping here without having to use defensive driving techniques is early morning on Saturday or sunday. Otherwise, shop at your own risk. read more

Awful, rarely stocked and there's never staff at the cash registers. When lines are wrapped all through the front, you can usually see 3-4 employees socializing by a closed cash register watching patrons wait. Walmart is known for being understaffed but to have enough staff who refuse to do their jobs? That's terrible. It's Walmart. You get the fluorescent light, warehouse Walmart ambience. What you get at this Super Walmart is low prices on cereal and other goods, well stocked shelves and a pretty clean store. It is open 24 hours so it's a good go to if you need to hit a grocery/discount/department store at an atypical hour. read more

What a hot mess. Apparently, they could not look up our records for buying an item from a different Walmart location. I don't understand why this isn't a centralized system. Staff needs to be better trained on what can and cannot be done. We had an AWFUL EXPERIENCE with ILLEGALLY SOLD EXPIRED DAIRY! We placed an online order for groceries picked up on 11/09/2021. The problem is the EXPIRATION DATE IS 10/23/2021 which is 18 days past expiration when picked up! I have pictures for PROOF! My wife fell seriously ill for 2 days from FOOD POISONING! When I returned the product to store on 11/13/2021 NO ONE seemed to want to provide a SOLUTION! NO ONE! Before I left I proceeded to check on the ILLEGAL PRODUCTS & to my SHOCK it's still in the case & I found more products dated 10/01/2021! You read that right 10/01/21 & I was in store on 11/14/2021, 6 WEEKS PAST EXPIRATION! They have done NOTHING! I've contacted the Baltimore County Health Dept/ state health dept & the FDA! CORPORATE has been contacted and they just want to make a claim & not PROTECT the CONSUMER! PROFITS 1st CUSTOMER LAST! It has fallen on deaf ears! BUYER BEWARE! The store looks good and is usually well stocked. Parking lot is creepy after dark. The employees and management border on hostile toward customers. They do seem to have a good time talking amongst themselves, however. Get ready to wait a long time to check out. The cashiers may be slow but they sure are rude. Clientele is typical Walmart-if you want to see the worst of what an area has to offer, go to Walmart. With so many other shopping options available in this area, this store is our choice of last resort. The Target down York Road is much better-even if it is much smaller- and prices at Wegman's up York Road aren't that much higher. read more
