It's one of those places where you can literally find almost everything in one trip -from groceries and household essentials to home decor, garden supplies, seasonal items, and so much more. Basically, if you need something, there's a good chance Walmart has it. I especially love the huge selection and the prices. The store is clean, there's a huge parking lot, and it's very convenient for everyday shopping. A couple of things could be improved. The self-checkout area often has several lanes that aren't working, which can be frustrating when the store is busy. Also, the main restroom seems to be closed for cleaning pretty often. With small kids, it's not always convenient to walk all the way to the restroom on the opposite side of the store -especially after you've already checked out. Maybe we're just unlucky with the timing! Overall, though, we really love this Walmart. Great selection, good prices, convenient location, and pretty much everything you could need under one roof. Definitely one of our go-to stores! read more

I give Walmart a 5 star because of Joe. I come to this store several times a month for certain things that only they have and they have it at a decent price. But Joe who stands by the door greeting everyone and checking receipts on the way out is a kind and loving man. He adds that personal touch that makes shopping here so great. The cashier by the outdoor department is awesome as well. It's the only way I enter and leave this place and I do it when they are working. I just moved to the area so trying different spots to see which one I like better. Tried this Walmart twice and so far so good. It's a huge Walmart, one of the biggest I've been to in a long time. It was clean and organized well. Everything was easy to find. Lots of registers open including self check out. Definitely will be using this one more often. read more

Walmart + Delivery is the worst at this location. The drivers always mix my bags with other customers bags and my stuff is always missing, we are talking about several bags missing, not just 1 item. I have had to complain about this the past 2 times! I will not let $35 of missing items just go down the drain. read more

Ordered a M black mens sweatpants as on line it said this store had it. picked it up this morning and it was a L !! can't these people read? or better yet i went in to return the L sweat pant and went to look myself and there were no M black sweatpants, so they just put the L in the bag and figured i would not notice. The stores seem to have NO Medium sweatpants at all, they only have shirts. Plus the help is terrible. the last two times i ordered on line got the wrong merchandize both times and that was the store in Sunrise FL. total incompetent people read more

Great Walmart, far better than the other Walmart's in the area. I'm actually somewhat surprised at their low rating. They definitely have all the usual Walmart inconveniences and annoyances that I've come to expect; inconsiderate employees, broken and dirty carts, customer mayhem at peak hours. But on the other hand, they do stand out for their impressive selection of items, far surpassing the range available at my local Walmarts' in Delray and Boca. And the fresh fruit and vegetable are actually not that bad. So while the experience is imperfect and irritating as I've come to expect from the Walmart chain, the sheer variety and quality of the products kinda makes up for it. My teenage son found an Xbox Elite Controller on clearance for 140 bucks. It was about 20% off retail and offered as new in what appeared to be sealed box. He even purchased an extended warranty all with his own choir funds. The next day he goes to add it to Microsoft's website and finds it to be out of warranty, over a year old, and previously registered. He then uses the item and finds it is broken. The serial number on unit and in box both match. We visit our local store hoping for an exchange for the issue and their mistake. Nope ! They won't even take it back as it's electronics and must go back to the Deerfield Store specifically. What if we bought outside State, from a National Chain ??? So we drive the additional 15 minutes and find Customer Service closes at 8pm even as store is open and staffed. No one will help initially. Luckily one manager she's the concern on sons face and assists. She will not exchange for mistake even with one in stock and proof of Information printed from Microsoft's website. Luckily she will return and refund. So he comes home screwed over, and taken advantage of by not only the perp who tricked Walmart, but also the store itself. Selling an extended warranty on used merchandise also seems almost fraudulent in nature. And they wonder why their reputation is so darn bad !!! read more

In addition to selling a variety of products, this Walmart has the dumbest and laziest workers I've ever seen. They have approximately 36 registers and ll but one self service area were shut down. The line was out the door and I asked one employee if she could just open one of the other self service registers for me as I only had one item. Nope. But you just did it for that person. Nope. So I asked to see a manager. "there ain't no management here." You mean there's not a store manager I asked. Nope. Only a matter of time until these stores start closing because they refuse to service the customer. read more

I've given this Walmart's Photo section several chances now and I'm done. I've tried it mainly because of its same day service but, after three tries, it's obvious they can't fulfill that. Ad to that there is usually no one there, makes it a very frustrating experience. It doesn't help that the sales clerks who work there have an attitude like we are bothering them for needing help. This Walmart really isn't anything special. However, it is clean and I love the subway here! What really sets this grocery store apart from the rest is Barbara in the deli. She is sweet and extremely patient while remaining efficient. I met her today and she actually did make my day just by making small, simple conversation. Keep it up, Barbara! You are wonderful and I hope you're recognized enough for it. Side note: the food in the deli is awesome tasting and great prices. I just wanted to give a shout-out to Chelsea in customer service (the return area- not sure what it's called). I had a huge return from Walmart.com that I thought would be easier in person. I was so wrong! I was there for almost 2 hours. There was something wrong with the system. She had to call multiple people and still I had to take some of it to FedEx. I could complain about it, but there's no point. Chelsea tried her hardest to help and was even so nice as to lend me her phone charger as my phone was almost dead because I was there for so long. This is store number 1916 in Coconut Creek. It is by far the worst Walmart in the local area because it is always very dirty the aisles are blocked with dollies and boxes even at 6:30 in the morning. Management obviously doesn't care how this Walmart looks. I've had to submit two separate complaints to walmart.com on the upkeep of the store. The employees have no etiquette whatsoever and are useless if you need help. I've had several rude encounters and experiences at the employees in this Walmart. The parkland store is a much better store and they don't block the aisles with boxes and dollies but unfortunately it's a good 25 minutes away from me. All of management should be fired at store number 1916 and replaced with managers who know what they're doing and know how to get the store in shape read more

The store is always clean. They have a lot of options and good inventory. The prices are always great to. Everything is always stocked up and organize. However when you order online and go to the pick up area the wait times to be really long if it's a big package. What time I ordered cat litter and they took almost 15 minutes to get it. I could've just gone by myself picked it up and paid at the register. I also ordered a bike that was supposed to be assembled. They took 30 minutes to bring it out and it wasn't even a sample. Took my son here for glasses. We visited his Optometrist before going to get a prescription for his lenses. There were two employees attending to customers at the Eye Center, one woman and one young man, maybe in his late teens or early 20's. The Optometrist scribbled his signature on the prescription so it was not very legible. The young man handed me back the prescription and said it was unacceptable. I asked him if he was a handwriting expert and what qualifications he had to reject a doctors prescription. He walked away from me and we needed to wait for the manager to finish with another customer. She called the doctor and verified that it was his signature and that he had given us the prescription a short time ago. At some point, event the entry level employee at Walmart should be smart enough to understand that you cannot overdose on an eyewear prescription. The questioning of the signature was absurd. Last time we visit Walmart for something as easy as making an eyeglass ordere. read more

Walmart Supercenter is a full service department store. You can find a huge selection of reasonably priced clothes, a complete pharmacy, any holiday items, a very complete garden center with live plants, electronics, computers, cameras, magazines, a very large grocery, almost anything you need or desire. The lines are never too long. The staff is very helpful . Everything seems to be at discount prices. You can get a passport photo done while you wait. Walmart has a nice shoe department. They also sell costume jewelry. I enjoy just browsing the myriad of items they have and always find something new. read more

I wish I could give this Walmart a Zero! It's the closest location to my home, but their services are absolutely horrible. 1. Shopping carts never work or they are all in the parking lot 2. When you can't find an item, don't you dare ask a Walmart employee for assistance. They usually respond by saying "this is not my department" 3. Out of 50 lanes to check out, they usually have just 2 registers open. I have addressed my concerns with the store employees or manager on several occasions and there are no improvements. If I could give 0 stars I would, I will NEVER go back. Honestly I hope to hear from corporate. When I got home 80% of my order was missing. They didn't make it right. $250 spent, I received $30 worth of stuff. What was suppose to " save me time" has cause me much more time. I live 30 minutes away. Now I have to drive back. I am beyond frustrated, the worst service and experience. I want my money back and I hope nobody ever does pick up there again. If I could give this store 0 stars, I would. It's Walmart, so expectations are low going into the transaction, but this particular experience left me underwhelmed even so. The process should have been simple -- order an item online (a bicycle) and pick-up the assembled item in the store. After receiving notification that the item had arrived in the store, I called to confirm that it had been assembled. That's when things went off the rails. It took me approximately 20 phone calls over the course of two days just to get someone to answer the phone. Even then, that person was not able to answer if and when the bicycle would be assembled. I was promised a return phone call. Let's just say I was not surprised when one never arrived. Follow-up attempts to reach the store were similarly unsuccessful. At this point I am most likely simply going to dispute the credit card transaction and go to a local bike shop. I didn't expect world class customer service or quality. You get what you pay for, right? But in this case, I did not even get the basics. Walmart, you can do better. read more

Just to clarify , this review is with store #1916. I have Been shopping at this store quite regularly (typically every weekend) for 8 years. Seems to get worse each year. The venors block the isles so that electric carts cant get by and overall, employees people are rude, particularly Michael at the servcie desk. I try to give Michael a break as its obvious he has a neurological deficit and I can relate as I have one myself and my sister was born with cerebal palsy. But at times he can be very rude and unprofessional. When he tries to be professional, its a rather weak and feeble contrived effort. Sorry Michael, Im sure your job can get tedious and I feel for ya. I truly do not think I can do the job you do. But that doesnt give you the license to treat people in the manner you do . Also, I know this review will go no where so I'm not going to get into the details of what transpired at this store on April 29 2021 at at about 7:30 am. I will instead create a BBB case because I know corportae will get it - and I myself will contact a high level exec at corporate because the bottom line , its not the fault of the walmart employees or vendors who habitually block teh isles , the fault is with managment and training. If you want to see a true desparity between good employees and marginal (at best), shop at Target. They shop their employees down to a science. Love those walmart! It is huge! They have a Subway and and Auntie Anne's pretzels ibside as well as a hair salon, a nail place and an eye doctor place. The food options are always fresh. They have prepared foods as soon as you walk in. The bakery section is always filled with fresh baked goods. Any time I have ever needed help someone was always there to help. The cashiers are always nice. They have a huge garden section with a wonderful selection. This is by far my favorite Walmart to go to! read more

Every time I go there it's nothing but a sea of shopping carts in the damn parking lot. It's like they don't hire people to pick up the shopping carts. On top of that every parking lot driveway does not have a parking cart corral. And some people are so lazy they even leave it right in between cars instead of the grass patch behind parking space. I have been coming to this Walmart since it opened and I have to say after today I will never come back or spend my money here. There were two cashiers in the entire store so I opted to go to self checkout where the lines were slightly shorter. After waiting for my turn for roughly 25 minutes it was finally my turn. But nope I was told I had too many items for that particular line and the woman standing at her podium made me leave to go to another line. Nowhere does it state that you must have under a certain number of items to use the self checkout. I then had to go to a line with a cashier and I again waited 30 minutes to be checked out. If Walmart wants to boost profits by reducing employees which directly impacts customer service then they need to give a discount for using self checkout as we the customer are now doing the job of what should be a Walmart employee or they need to hire more cashiers. It's pretty simple. I am absolutely disgusted. read more

This is a fairly large Walmart. It has a big grocery section. Sometimes I can find products there that I can't find at other Walmart stores. They have some great sales, especially around Christmas. I'm always there on Black Friday, which is the day after Thanksgiving. Surprisingly, on Black Friday, it's not usually terribly crowded. I don't go first thing in the morning. Maybe that's why I miss most of the crowds. The parking lot is confusing if you enter on Hillsboro Blvd. I like to park near the center entrance. To get there I have to go right, drive through the grocery sections parking, before I can get to the center. It's inconvenient. They need more employees on the sales floor who can help customers. If I want to know where something is it's hard to find someone to ask. They also need price checking machines. When I was there last night I found the same items with different prices. I had to go to the cashier to find out the right price. The cashiers are usually friendly and helpful. This Walmart is open 24 hours. Being able to shop for groceries, medicine, pet food, whatever I want, when almost all of the other stores are closed, is great. read more

On 10/29 I went to this Walmart pharmacy to fill 2 prescriptions for a relative who had surgery nearby. I'm told it would be 35 minutes (only 1 person ahead of me.) I asked if they could hurry as I had to pick up my relative. My phone went off a couple minutes later, texting that the script was being filled (waste of time.) I went to the Subway inside this store to order a pizza. I was told by the young man working there that they were out of pizza boxes so he couldn't make one. Phone goes off again from the pharmacy. I go over and find they're out of one script and only had it in a lower dosage. I said lower is ok and am told the Dr. has to authorize and now its after hours. I ask for a manager but she is busy in customer service. After 35 minutes I get a call to pick up my relative . I ask for the one script and it wasn't ready. I go to pick him up and the phone goes off that the meds are ready. ;I come back and no one is in line. The young woman behind the counter has the meds in a plastic hanging bag, takes the script out, rings me up, then hangs it back up behind her again and tells me to go to the next window where a man hands it to me. So 3 useless time consuming texts, out of a common medication and the person behind the counter then can't directly hand me the meds??? Totally unacceptable. How do I know they are common meds? I went to CVS after and the pharmacist was shocked that any pharmacy was out of them. My relative had asked me to get him water (only if it was quick, on the way out.) I saw machines outside the exit and put money in and of course the drink machine was out of water. This was terrible experience after a long tense day. I will never return to that store. It had poor, ok, non existent service at that location. read more

I was at this Walmart on July 6 an employee named Richard (he was Black) made this experience at Walmart the best experience ever. He was smiling and give us some useful recommendations about pepper, and found us the one we needed. First he asked if we need any help, which if you are not the first time at Walmart- you know it's very unusual. I was not really expecting any help, but he really knows how to work with customers. I don't even understand how this place still remains in business. Besides the constant odd clientele that appeared there, there was also an incredible amount of things wrong with this store. I went in there looking for a few simple items, and yet I still managed to get stuck there for over an hour. Immediately when I walked in I realized it was cooler outside, and I live in south Florida. There was absolutely no air conditioning in the entire store. First off, I was searching for a valentine's card. The selection was as bare as the greenery in a desert. Many cards were ripped and plopped all over the floor. Next was some stationery items for my daughter. The prices were exorbitantly high. And they only had two brands to compare: Crayola, and Cray-Z-Art. I don't know what they are showing on commercials, but I would not go to Walmart for saving money, because I did not save money going here. Searching for markers was impossible! There was only Crayola, but all the boxes were torn open and missing markers! And with the crayons, they only had the big packs, like the 64 ones, so they force you to spend more money. Out of curiosity, I went with my son to glance at the toy section for Star Wars toys. There was nothing! Nothing at all! The absence shocked me. How does a movie that, still in theaters and making money, has made over 2 billion dollars, and their toys aren't being sold in a mainstream store? It's ludicrous! The worst part was the checkout. In the entire store, ranging many many many checkout lanes, there was only two open. Both had elongated queues, which barely moved at all. The employees were very unfriendly. My cashier spoke did not speak at all and refused to look at me, as if attempting to avoid me. It was a very awkward situation and it just shows how dreck the staff was here. Between the abominable staff, broken and open merchandise, lack of refreshing air conditioning, very high prices and lack of diverse merchandise, this Walmart receives a one star out of five. read more

It's like any other Walmart even enough check out lines open. But they do have two self check which help with a speed check out if you don't mind doing it yourself. They up date there subway but it's the same people working behind the counter so I don't go in there anymore.... The nail and hair places right next door are good for the price.$$. If anything the main reason I'm give them 5 star has to do with there online pick up. I order things online quite frequently and pick is super fast. In the last 4 months I have started using there online Grocery function and it's a time saver an a half , My two favorite people to bring me groceries to the have have to be this Takeria and Noel there always friendly and fast. I do feel bad for them when it's raining and they have to come out with groceries but that Florida for you. ........The Walmart need to build them a tarp or some type of coverage so they are able to take the heat and the rain when we have it. read more
