Stopped in while passing through Colorado Springs and was pleasantly surprised! We found a super cute new Colorado hoodie for my daughter and a fun Bluey shirt for our younger one -- both were great finds. The store was clean and had a good selection. Only reason it's not a full five stars is the layout was a bit tricky to navigate, but overall a solid shopping stop! read more

This Walmart was located down the street from my hotel, very convenient. The store was clean and well stocked. The shelves were well organized. Prices were same as back home in Houston. Well, as always it's hard to have a ton of superlatives for a visit to Walmart, especially when it's for a store we just visited for convenience while on a road trip. So, this is a Walmart - it has all the usual things you would expect, which basically amounts to a bit of everything at reasonable prices. It's actually a pretty decent location, and had what we needed which was mainly just a few supplies for our hotel room. We just used the self checkout, and they were friendly when we needed help with an item, so really can't complain. It served the purpose for which we needed it! read more

I am a veteran in the military my wife and I are regulars at this Walmart. Things have changed completely. We live in Colorado 20+ years. I also wrote a review on the Main website. The last couple months we have not got good customer service looking for certain items in the grocery area. This day we got some good deals on Black Friday. I am writing this review because I met a very polite pleasant young man in the parking lot, pushing carts. I noticed he was pushing the carts by hand, working hard. He also asked if we needed a cart. I was very impressed. I asked him his name. He said it was Isaac, he said I am new. My daughter before she left to college used to push carts years ago at another Walmart. I know it's a hard job. This young man made my wife's shopping experience better by just being polite, offering a cart and acknowledging us. So thank you to Isaac I hope he gets a recognition. We will be happy to see you there in the future at our everyday Walmart. And I hope customer service gets better inside where we buy our groceries. Thank you! read more

The reviews on this store are ridiculous . Ive been inside to shop and experienced curbside pickup. Both times, all employees I interacted with were very helpful and friendly. Y'all so goofy leaving one star bc u came on christmas eve and the lines are long or u cant refund ONE ITEM or that your online order was split because you ordered GROCERIES which is required for any order with cold items. Surely you don't want your milk and meat sitting out for hours before you pick it up. Lmao y'all sound like how someone would imitate a Karen. Anyways, while shopping things were easy to find, they don't take tap to pay so make sure u have ur wallet. We went at 8 pm and there was no line, plenty of workers, and wasn't crowded. When I did curbside pickup I pulled in and waited around 5 minutes before someone came out to me. He was really nice and cooperative. Curbside is located in its own area off to the side of the building. It's quite large. The store is pretty accessible for wheelchairs it looks like. No steps or stairs. Some areas might be a little crowded with the pallets in the way but they move so idk. Only thing tho is once u place a curbside order, u cannot change the bag preference to bags or no bags. read more

Last time I ever use this Walmart! They overcharged us $3 on a $7 item. I had to go stand in line to get my money back, that's a HUGE OVERCHARGE. The next day I had to return an item, came in at 8:45 pm, the service desk closed at 8pm. WTH? I have never heard of a store closing its service desk before the store closed. Mainly use this location for RX and the people in Pharmacy are great! Seems like there is only one person trained for their sporting goods dept. and when she goes on break or to lunch, the dept. just shuts down! Ever heard of cross-training????? Okay, so, it's Walmart. Walmart is never good per se. It's always kind of grungy and packed with rude people. However, their handling of the COVID pandemic has brought them down to 1 star. There's someone at the door who's supposedly checking that everyone is wearing masks, but as we were leaving she didn't even blink as two women with no mask in sight sauntered in. Inside you'll find the majority is NOT wearing a mask - at all, never mind properly. They used to have arrows on the floor making aisles one way, we got physically run into more than once because they were ignored. No evidence it's being cleaned more regularly and no enforcement of state or local mandates. read more

Strangely enough, although not a huge fan of walmart, I have been to every single one of them in town, which is not really all that big of a feat (I think there are 9 total?). This place is pretty much not accepting cash unless u would like to stand in one of only 3 cashiers lines for 30 minutes because that's about the only way you can spend U.S. currency. Rude employees and bad policies. I was planning on buying groceries and supplies from this store, but not anymore. Sam Walton personally had a policy to let RVs and others park overnight at locations because he stated, wanted and believed more everyday people should travel and see the USA. I asked this location and they said they do not allow it. I voiced that in my opinion as a potential customer I think they should consider revising their policy because I did want to shop and possibly fuel up over $100 in fuel plus supplies at somewhere where I could stop, and Sam Walton had a policy of encouraging it. The employee got smart with me saying "Ill ask Sam when I see him." I said Sam Walton is dead. The employee responded yeah I know, we have security vehicles who will be on you if you pull into this location. Their demeanor was to be rude, sarcastic and threatening to me and not listening to customers. This location dishonors Sam Walton's legacy and goals in being a service to others. I'll spend my money elsewhere and advise others to do the same. I hope they will change their policy to encourage more travelers and honor Sam Walton's vision and wishes to help everyday people as well as get rid of treating customers with bad attitudes or threats. read more

Of the many Walmarts in the Springs area this is one of the smallest with a disappointing selection. If you have the time go to the one on east Woodmen., Monument, or south Powers. Never, ever come to this Walmart to get a fishing license! The clerk operating the terminal told me I need to get to the fish and game dept because I wanted a one-day fishing pass for my father who was coming to visit me from overseas. Turns out the clerk was either not trained or didn't know ho to use the terminal to issue a one day permit for a foreign national! Went to Bass Pro and they did it! My second experience was just a total waste of 30 mins waiting for the managers to locate the only one person who could the terminal! Get more people trained to a simple task! Yet today, the store manager there mistreated me, a loyal, local customer when it came to returning a Walmart.com order. Trying to get a pickup from these people is next to impossible. Using the app, I placed an order for grocery items. The "system" split my order into 4 different parts against my request. There was to be items to pick up as requested, items to be delivered same day, and 2 more orders arriving later this week, and into next week. I was able to pick up the delivery items per the app, but didn't receive the delivery items. I called the store and spoke with "Chris" who told me that the 11 items that were supposed to be delivered weren't in the system. I asked what I needed to do to get my groceries, and she told me I needed to call Customer Service, gave me the number. I asked if she was a Manager, and she told me "No, we don't have any Managers here" and hung up on me. Guess how happy I was when I called their Corporate Office to follow up... Sadly, the Corporate Office (Rene) told me that I would have to call back I two hours to see if they got my order fixed. This is sincerely some of the worst "Customer Service" I have ever received. What would lead a person to shop at a Walmart late at night? I am not sure what you were thinking, but I needed a white dress shirt thanks to a salsa-related accident and a pair of board shorts I forgot to pack and only realized after checking into the hotel. Fail on count one. Fail on count two. No dress shirt in my size. No board shorts at all (and yes I am aware of the season .... but c'mon, not even a single option? Seriously even if they were hot pink and said "Juicy" but still fit me, I would have taken them.) It has a great location next to the hotel, CIci's Pizza, and the liquor store (not necessarily ordered in relation to importance in my life) but they failed at providing me with any suitable alternatives to my late night clothing requirements. read more

Worst Walmart this side of town The parking lot flow is awful, really hard getting around and really surprised pedestrians are not regularly hit. Recently they've converted the store to more of a police state. Much of the merchandise that in other stores is locked up in cabinets but trying to find staff to unlock? First time ever being at walmart and it was not pleasant. The shelves were not stocked, there was smoke coming from the deli, (i heard the store manger to turn it off until some corporate people came cause the oil was old). The complete lack of care in the managment in that store is disgusting, to hear the store manager tell the associates to not care, is appalling. Worse, they never have associates to help cuatomers , i guess theyd rather line their pockets while they can cause customers like myself are all going to king sooper. As for quality of food in this store, id rather starve, multiple times meats we've gotten there was bad. Sick for days because of it. Damages canned foods are still sold even though the risk of a consumer potentially getting sick or dying from the aluminum can shards. Live better, ha! Shop here at your own risk, eat their food at your own risk. Youre bretter off shopping at sprouts or kind soopers. At least you know youre getting quality with them. read more

It's a Wal-Mart, so I hope everyone knows what to expect. If you don't you most likely have just awoken from a multi-decade long slumber under a large rock, so welcome back to the world! This Wal-Mart has the standard layout of the food market on the right side of the store and the pharmacy/garden center on the left side of the store. This is mirrored from the 8th street Wal-Mart but I have found this to be the most common layout across the country. And that is one of the things I love most about Wal-Mart. I can walk in and I know where everything is because every store is the same. I can purchase my whoozits and whatzits galore from Amazon and soon a drone will drop it off in my waiting hands, but if I need something NOW, I know I can go to Wal-Mart. They have a great balance of everyday items and more harder to find items. Wal-Mart has been there for me in my times of crisis. Like when the internet goes down because the Wi-Fi router kicks the bucket at 2am. Wal-Mart to the rescue! Grocery runs at 3am, the checkout ladies are always there to scrutinize all the processed food and frozen quasi-food-stuffs I decide to purchase. This particular Wal-Mart is better than most out there. It is clean and bright. There are few to zero homeless people outside the doors during the evening and early morning hours (7pm-4am). There are rarely annoying girl scouts selling me cookie food products outside of the giant food-product store I just exited. If I wanted cookies, I think I could have found them 50ft inside the doors. There are usually some faux-homeless people scamming people at the entrances. The guy that is always on the South entrance by the Chapel Hills mall drives that minivan he parks just up the hill in the parking lot. But, he must enjoy what he does since he is there every day that's not too cold or windy or rainy. This Wal-Mart is also 24hours like all the others in Colorado Springs (except the "Neighbourhood Markets"). This is something we Colo Spgs-ers take for granted, but in other parts of the country Wal-Marts close at 10pm, which sort of defeats the purpose of a Wal-Mart. read more

While the service was fine here this store seems big enough but with a whole lot of nothing! Definitely one of the poorest Walmarts that I have been to and it is not because it was dirty or anything, it was the selection. They simply did not have what I was looking for when most Walmarts do. This is a decent Walmart. I've travelled many places that weren't great cities with Walmarts right in the middle...and those were worthy of 1-2 stars. This one is a regular Walmart. Nothing great but definitely not terrible. They have a great selection of bikes. Seriously. Some Walmarts are not bike crazy but this one seems to keep their bike selection updated. The food is fine. Ok prices. They were out of cilantro on a Sunday night at 8pm which kinda sucked but I guess it could be worse. I suppose I will be making my way back to this place eventually. read more

They had me transferred to auto systems and said my 3 digits on the back of my card was incorrect and after all this, I could not complete my purchase! Costco, here I come! I'm definitely not a massive Walmart fan. However, I had an excellent experience with the pharmacy which impressed me. My husband was not in the Springs area and needed a script filled for a fairly serious medical condition. The place he went to get it filled couldn't find the proper prescription info for billing purposes from our medical insurance card and therefore, the script was going to be close to $200.00.At the time, we did not realize we more than likely should have an ADDITIONAL card which provides the prescription billing info. After searching and searching unsuccessfully on line for the information needed, I remembered that Walmart had filled my last prescription and should have what we needed. Upon calling at Walmart, I found out that they did NOT have the prescription information. Regardless, the employee went above and beyond by taking the information we had, researching and finding what we needed. She even called us back to ensure we were successful. Why have a picnic on a beautiful Sunday afternoon with an equally as beautiful woman? Should I buy that strong, sturdy rope so I can hang it from my banister and pair in with a chair just durable enough to hold a 204 pound man just long enough for him to work up the courage to "just do it already?" Should I buy that lime and shovel to bury my Labrador retriever, my only friend that didn't run away from me; or at least the only friend that I could tie up with a chain in the backyard (available in the garden section by the wheelbarrows) so he couldn't run away. I would look in his eyes and see it, his desire to find a better master. I'm sorry I couldn't walk you every day, but I've been wheelchair bound since seven and only wanted a friend to love. There really isn't anything you can't buy at Wal-Mart; well everything tangible you can at least. I've tried buying a laugh between mutual friends, and they're fresh out of stock. I've tried buying a warm, woman's touch, they checked in the back and it's not there. I've tried buying my father's pride, turns out they can't ship things from a different state. I've tried buying a kiss from a stranger, turns out that's a crime here in Colorado. But cantaloupe, green peppers, pancake mix, lawn chairs, keyboards, tank tops, white and brown eggs, cat litter and loose-leaf paper are all sold here and always in stock. Too bad it's nothing I need. What I really need is a hug from a long lost friend. Is that on sale? I'd buy the whole store out. Come to this Wal-Mart and be greeted by a friendly staff, fresh produce and great deals. The only deal I've made though is a deal with the devil; a deal sealed with blood and that can't be reversed. A deal I'll forever regret and that will always be a dark cloud hanging over my head. Unlike if you buy anything from Wal-Mart; their fast, friendly customer service will surely and swiftly return or exchange any item as long as you have the receipt.
