This is a solid Walmart supercenter. It has pretty much all the supplies I need. The staff are accommodating and helpful. The set up is well organized, including the way to get to the self check out and cashiers. The place is generally clean. That being said, take care in the parking lot. My car has gotten scratches from other car when my car was parked. Getting into the Walmart parking lot station can also be a bit confusing. And this is not some fancy store, so the expectations should be different than from a place like Whole Foods. Still, the location and pricing of items are ideal read more

Walmart on webb chapel has a delivery problem . Their drivers just delivery to wherever they want to. Whether it's front gate, your front door or back gate. They don't follow instructions at all. Saw this Walmart location after having a late breakfast with a friend from Indiana. If you've been to one Walmart, you've been to just about all of them. However, this one stood out for its cleanliness and super-friendly employees. The guy at the self-scan area was full of joy that was contagious. Wow, what a way to inspire a customer to come back! I went at 6:00 AM because I was in need of cat litter asap! So I go in and get my cat liter (2 bags) and a small safe box... I had a total of 3 items. I was the only one at self checkout as it was really early. The cashier attending the self checkout made her way to the register next to me to watch me checkout... giving a vibe as if I was stealing. She watched me scan all items and complete my transaction ( get my change and receipt) and she still had the audacity to ask me for my receipt, After she literally eyeballed me. Then she proceeded to touch and grab my items as if she could not clearly see that there was 3 items in the cart.... I get that there is an issue with theft in the area but please don't make your paying customers feel uncomfortable, especially if you watched them scan and pay for ALL of their items. Absolutely the worst Walmart in DFW. It is not a supercenter, even though it's listed on Maps as a supercenter. It's very cramped and closed in. I use this Walmart for quick purchase trips only. Walmart is one of those corporations that does NOT put quality items in lower income neighborhoods....,which is total corporate foolishness & discrimination. This location is in a lower income neighborhood, so you are hard pressed to find quality items unless you are getting basic household items & toiletries. The flip side is that staff at this location is usually a lot more helpful and friendly than those at other locales. I'm a sucker for friendly staff. 2.5/5. First things first -- it's a Walmart, what are you expecting? It's just like what you would expect of a typical Walmart, but there are some extra factors that make other locations a little better than this one. First, like many other people have said, there are SO MANY cash registers and aisles open, but there's only a handful open at any given time, and I've come to this Walmart during various times of the day. The aisles are also a little cramped and small. In the food aisles, there is barely enough space for two carts to pass by each other, making it kind of difficult to navigate if it's a particularly crowded day. I haven't had the chance to use the pharmacy services, but will update my review when I get the chance. What I do like about this location is it's convenience - it's located fairly close to the medical center and I haven't had a problem finding parking. At the end of the day, it's a Walmart, and if you are coming here, your expectations should already be tempered. read more

The man in Hunting section is a liar, and lazy. He said machine had been down all day to purchase hunting licenses. When I had a buddy go there earlier that day, and he was able to purchase one. I give the store a one no help at self checkout so I removed all my items and was able to checkout before anyone (NEVER) showed up to help with the self checkout! Never have items in stock!! However I do give 5 stars to one of their outstanding employees her name is Regina and works at the Customer Services counter! She went above and beyond to try and correct an issue! She was very kind and friendly. She is the type of employee that stands out and should deserve a raise for her amazing service with this virus going around! Thank you Regina !!!!! I've been to this location a few times out of convenience. Unless Walmart shuts down, I likely will be back. Target is my preference, and much closer to home, actually. But, when I need lots or know that my savings will be vastly greater, hi ho, hi ho, it's off to Wal-Mart I go! It's uncomfortably a busy location but I mentally prepare before walking in. I stopped in here to buy an inexpensive extension cord. It is your typical Walmart. A bit off-putting were the three blue-vested employees standing right at the entrance/exit - almost like security guards. I thought the staff was very helpful. I couldn't find where the extension cords were, and asked an associate. She led me a fairly long way (out of her way) to show me. I was pleased by that. Went there Thursday Apr 23. Was yelled at the entrance I didn't have to wipe my shopping cart cause the employee already did. Then I was picking up merchandise and saw the cart with bread on sale, grabbed some muffins, as soon as I did a black guy comes out from the warehouse area, slams the bread cart and doors with a jack, a minute before and he will get me, didn't even says sorry, kept on shopping. This Walmart employees seem to be so unhappy and care less about we the shoppers. On top of that, yesterday I sliced the pineapple I got and tasted like rat poison. It used to be a three or a four but in the past couple years it has declined rapidly. It closes at midnight but they lock the doors before that and will even stand at the door and turn you away ten mins before closing which sucks normally but even worse when it's 22 degrees and you are walking to the store for only one item. I know they got in deep trouble with corporate for it a few years ago when my boyfriend was working there. If you do make it in the door good luck making it down any aisle I get that they need to stock but there is no need for the trash to be blocking one side when the employee is and the pallet are blocking the other. And god forbid you are in a hurry. If I had a car to get to the Walmart at 635 and Midway I would go there but I don't so sometimes I have to make due. I would rather give you $10 then go inside this Walmart. It's small, dark, always dirty, 3rd world....crowded with families that bring 6 children running screaming up and down isles. Order online and do the curb pick up.. they arrive at the car in 2 min. Recently I returned 2 frozen items that were RECALLED because of Listera. The 1st person had to call her supervisor because she didn't know how to do a RECALL. 5 min. This supervisor looked to be 18 barely shaving, they asked if I had my receipt? RECALLS do not require receipts, I said NO. They asked if I had my credit card (NEVER GIVE THEM CREDIT CARD, became HUGE ISSUE) I said yes, they scanned it and said these frozen items were purchased more than 90 days ago. I explained how a FREEZER works, you buy put stuff in it and use it when you like. RECALLS are NOT RETURNS. This Supervisor began arguing with me telling me I can't get a refund because it's been longer than 90 days. I asked to see another manager, HE RUDELY & LOUDLY SAID "I AM THE MANAGER", I laughed in his face saying your the head manager for this entire store. I told him to GET HIS SUPERVISOR.. 5 min. Another Latino woman with long painted nails shows up, she has turned her badge backwards so I can't see her name. She goes thru the same, dog & pony show... telling me I can't return these items as they are outside the 90 day window, I try to explain THIS IS A RECALL because the food could be toxic and dangerous.. It doesn't matter if it's older than 90 days.. it's a RECALL. Things get escalated all FOUR of the Walmart associates are yelling and screaming at me at the same time.. They are talking Spanish to each other, laughing and screaming at me telling me to calm down and your not getting your money back, etc. I continue to raise my voice screaming back at all FOUR that it's a RECALL they have to take these tainted toxic items full of LISTERIA BACK. An older African American woman who has worked there for many years is working close by, she speaks up to the 4 Walmart associates arguing with me that they MUST TAKE BACK A RECALL, they don't have a choice. They call another Supervisor ( 5 people behind the counter) It takes them another few minutes to bring this top Supervisor up to speed. She has so much face make up on, white eye liner with spots at different points on her face. It is almost like communicating with some tribe in another country. She has this total, attitude that she couldn't careless or be bothered with this and she is only listening to the 4 associates surrounding her.. She is the only one that can authorize a $17 override refund (HOW RIDICULOUS). Over 30 min. and a screaming yell-fest for $17 RECALL!!! Which is suppose to be the easiest refund of ALL. When done I spoke directly to the upper, upper, upper, upper Supervisor directly. I said perhaps you should run this experience up the ladder, and use it as a training example to your staff on what and how to do a RECALL. She rolled her eyes and made a Latino shrug barely looking me in the eye and said. My staff know what they're doing they know how to process a RECALL. Standing there with FIVE Supervisors, 4 of which were just screaming at the top of their lungs telling me I couldn't get a refund because it was purchased 90 days ago outside of their refund window. I just shook my head and said, obvious they don't know what a RECALL even is they just started laughing and talking in Spanish. There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION. read more

Went here to take advantage of Vudu disc to digital for some blu-rays. Keep in mind here that I already created my list, so there was very little to be done to make this happen. When i get to the Photo Center, not one of the three people that I spoke to even knew what I was talking about. Funny thing is that there are signs at the entrance about Vudu, signs in the Photo Center about Vudu (I could see seven from where I was standing, including a giant sign hanging from the ceiling above my head), yet no one working in that section knew how to help me. They call the department head over who has no clue, so she suggests calling another store. The other store (where I should have driven to immediately because 45 minutes later that's what I was told to do) explained what to do, but the person could not figure out how to log on to the computer... really? After the assistant store manager comes by and ignores the confused worker to pull someone else to help a customer, she returns a second time realizing there was a problem and said that she also had no idea how to do it and to call another store. Eventually they tell me that they don't have the "machine" to convert the discs. I complained to the completely apathetic and useless store manager as politely as I could, but once I saw the look on his face and his rather rude response, I could tell it was pointless. So off to another location I was sent. Guess if I have to go back to the evil empire, I won't be returning to this location and will drive a few miles out of the way. Pros: I really can't think of any. Cons: 1. This Store is Expensive (for a Walmart). Krogers is probably cheaper. 2. The Store Layout is terrible. It just doesn't make sense. 3. There is no deli. (Everything is prepackaged). 4. Too few cashiers. This store always has lines. 5. For some reason it looks cluttered and dirty. I'm not sure if its lighting, layout, or what have you. It just doesn't look neat and clean. 6. The parking spaces seem really tiny. I always have trouble parking in between two cars there and I'm a great driver. It's a lot of correcting to go in straight because the parking space seems very narrow. 7. There is no 'Vision Center' or 'Garden Center' that's stated under the google profile for this store. Those departments simply don't exist there. read more

I hate this walmart. The aisles are way too small, the layout is terrible and they sell spolied meat here! Sniff everything you buy and make sure the seal has not been opened by other customers who seem to like to sample things here. I almost bought a can of almonds that already been tampered with..something told me to look under the lid and sure enough somebody had already popped the seal and helped themselves. Check expiration dates! I will no longer be visiting this walmart although it is the closest one to me because of the bs you have to put up with! read more

She's the type of person that WalMart should be proud of having for an employee!!! I wanted to check to see if the store had an item before I schlepped my way over the WalMart - so she took down all the information she needed, model nbr. etc. and was able to tell me WM did NOT have that item in stock. This is a pretty standard Walmart in terms of product selection, quality, and prices. However, this place is a zoo every single time. Have you ever seen Jimanji? It's just shy of that. The place is always crowded and the people are not nice or even polite. Sometimes it takes up to 25 minute to get to the cash register. I have never seen a Wal Mart so jam packed with customers and employees. Unfortunately none of the employees were at a register. Most of the employees were bringing merchandise out of the back room to be stocked on the shelves. It was hard to navigate the main aisles because there were so many employees moving pallets around. I couldn't go more Than a few feet without having to get out of the way of somebody ready to run me over with a pallet of merchandise. The lines were so long. I know lines can get pretty long at WalMart because they never seems to be enough cashiers, but these were the worst I've seen. read more

I had ONE simple question. Was my online order ready for pick up? After spending 45 mins on the phone--being transferred from dept to dept, being placed on about 20 holds, being told customer service only had one person working there so they couldn't answer the phone, to finally having someone "ACT" like they were the person I was supposed to speak to... I ended my call WITHOUT having my question answered! This guy asked for my order number, name, and phone number and said he will "call me back" after he looks into it.... if he was the CORRECT person who could finally help me he should have been able to search my order number in the system and give me an answer right then and there! I planned to go on my lunch break to pick up my order but after spending almost an hour on the phone I rather not deal with them in person! They got my money! Absolutely awful I want return!! I kept asking workers where is certain items they would shrug there heads and say I don't know ! I also said do you have a party isle the man and woman acted confused and said do we have a party isle to each other? I said forget it I will find it you work here and know absolutely nothing! And walked off! Very uneducated people there and can't speak proper English! All of the isle are full of boxes, one nearly fell on top of me! I understand inventory coming in but do it in a safe way majority of all isles are full of boxed inventory this place is just nasty!! I'm 99.9% not a fan of this Walmart....but it is sooooo close to my house. *sigh* Damn you Walmart for being so damn convenient! Seriously though, I'd rather drive to the Walmart down on NW Hwy/Skillman and be sure that everything that I need (and want) will be stocked. This Walmart is hit/miss....mostly miss for me. And they always seem to only have two lines opened with a store full of customers. The store isn't really arranged properly - they have bathroom items in the front of the store (shower liners, etc) but the shower caddy's were in the back section....with the light bulbs and faucets? I just...I just don't get it. Go back to the drawing board and let's try this one again.
