I came in around 1pm, and this place was packed with so many people. I ran in to get a birthday cake, and some cat food. Lucky there was a Walmart employee outside stocking stuff at the bakery area and she help recommended me cookie and cream cake. I'm glad I did, because it turned out moist and very good. They are fully stocked here with a lot of stuff. There's a lot of people using self check out, but I like a real cashier. Everything I go to pay there's usually only 1-2 people in line in front of me. I can go in and out pretty quick if I stop getting distracted by so many other stuff they sell there. lol read more

i bought two bags of de-ice pellets for the ice storm in january. i only used one bag, so i brought back the unopened bag, with the receipt for proof of purchase there, and asked for a store credit. (not a refund, a store credit!!! so i would have spend the credit funds there in the store. the spanish young lady said no, since it was past the 90 day return window. i get not issuing a refund past the 90 days, but a store credit would have kept a happy paying customer. i'm taking my business to lowe's market, brookshires's in bridgeport and amazon groceries! goodbye walmart! heb can't get here soon enough!!! read more

When I began using Walmart Grocery delivery it was great but the last 2 times is another story. My delivery about 2 weeks ago was 1 item short but upon finding the item still in her vehicle the driver brought it to my door. Today, out if 42 ordered items 13 were missing! This is unacceptable. I don't know if it is the drivers fault or the pickers. I have had to request a refund and reorder the items. Elderly people use the delivery for a reason. If I had another choice, Walmart would not be shopped! read more

Typical Walmart. Went to pick up some cheap shoes to wear because the weather took a warm turn. Found some cute shoes, so I bought two pair. Wandered around the store and bought some other miscellaneous items. Check out was fast and easy considering we had a live cashier. Arrived home (30 minutes away) only to find that one of our bags was left at the store. I called 25 minutes before they closed but no one answered. I continued to call up until their listed closing hour, but still no answer. read more

Yuck, Yuck!! nothing nice to say!!! The employees just stand around visiting therefore, there is NO customer service. I went into store 2 days in a row to get cheese from deli - no one working in deli although it was open. My credit card has had duplicate charges on it multiple times. They have LONG lines of pepole trying to check out as they are trying to forcing people to self-check. I refuse. Walmart doesn't pay me to work for them. store is hard to maneuver since the aisles are full of things needing to be put on shelves. The stockers aren't polite and insist that you find a way around them because they aren't about to move for a shopper! read more

So I refuse to go back here. The store itself is not exactly clean and the shelves are EMPTY. I mean it looks like a film based on the end of the world. The produce section was bare, the bread aisle was bare, I came with a list of about 20 things and found maybe a handful of them. The worst part is the next store is about 15 minutes away and if you just need something in a hurry that's a bit inconvenient. Absolutely horrible, in the last week I have had a cashier be completely rude, drop and break my eggs, smash my bananas and zucchini under glass jars because I dare to bring clothe bags, take 10 minutes to check out less then 40 items, have been asked to crawl under the fitting room door to unlock because they gave away the only key, and had to go several aisles down because workers are hanging out completely blocking them and ignore you when you say excuse me. Bathrooms are ALWAYS disgusting, managers take forever to help out at the customer service desk when needed for an override, and the store manager seems like a coward who isn't open to learn about issues. read more

A much larger walmart than in neighboring communities but with the good also comes the bad, lots of overcrowding at the registers. Usually a much more vast selection of products and better organization than many. The selection of grocery items usually has just about anything you could want. Unlike a lot of stores which discontinue sales of items they usually keep more items in stock in each genre, however on the last trip I did notice they are significantly scaling back Asian themed foods, which is a bit disheartening to those who enjoy ingredients only sold in that section. Other items I have noticed have disappeared have later reappeared months later at this location possibly in the attempt to please customer complaint issues. read more

Tire center : the workers were very nice. However, the tire mechanics/ workers are extremely slow. There are 6 mechanic workers and only 2 are actually doing any mechanic work. The 2 that are actually working are very slow. The other 4 are just wondering around cluelessly. There was 1 person already getting tires on. I was next. I have been here for 2 hours. Walmart has a corporate policy requiring masks to be worn by all employees and customers while in the store with some limited exceptions. This store does not follow that policy. Saw two employees today without masks. About 1/5 of customers without masks. This is a regular occurrence at this location. read more

There are always empty shelves week after week on multiple aisles. They obviously don't know how to order the correct amount of a product. Maybe their inventory is off?? There have been times where I've walked into that store and everything I needed was out of stock. Also, shelves are very rarely ever "fronted" or "zoned" (meaning product is pulled to the front of the shelf). This review holds true for a lot of departments, but grocery is the worst. read more

The customer service here is a joke!!! I stood at the customer service desk for 40 minutes waiting on a manager to come out of the office 10 feet from the desk and finally just ended up leaving because no one ever came out. This was also on a Sunday evening when they were not busy several hours before they closed. The tell her that First told me to go to customer service came to check on me twice and finally just said "I'm sorry they're not coming out to help you". The only reason this place is still in business is because it's the only place that's that big to buy groceries in this entire county. I wish someone would build a big Kroger so we can get rid of this worthless Walmart. read more

In the end I had to settle for something less than what I really wanted on several items because this store is so poorly stocked. The staff impolite while talking to an associate another employee walked up and just started talking over me. MOTHER OF 4 AND DISABLED YOUNG NEPHEW HUMILIATED AT DECATUR TX WALMART!!!!!! I have shopped at this Walmart for years and have never had any problem, today I went to Walmart with my three children and my disabled nephew, I bought the usual things from fruits, to milk, to cat food, in the end I grabbed up a single bottle of wine and made my way to the self check out, at the check out my nephew and three kids are waiting on the other side of the cart while I'm ringing up the items, of course when the Wine beeps the lady comes over for my ID, I go to take it out and she points over my cart at my nephew " I need his ID" my nephew is disabled he doesn't work, drive, and I am his legal guardian so he doesn't have an ID on him, not to mention he was not making the purchase I was. The woman refused to let me buy one single bottle of wine! Another associate then tells me "If we feel something looks suspicious.... so then I look suspicious with my one bottle of wine and full grocery cart and children??? She removed the wine from the screen and had me hand it back to her from my cart, I cant even begin to say how embarrassed I was! , so by her own words a mother with say of a 15 year old who looks older isn't going to be able to buy wine because her child doesn't have ID??? I've bought there thousands of times as have my friends and no one has ever had the experience I had, customers around, and by the time I finished there were 4 Walmart employee's, I was embarrassed, my poor nephew was confused, it was humiliating! This was all done in front of my children, my disabled Nephew,and countless other customers, I would say not to use this Walmart, go to Roanoke or somewhere else! This Walmart will pick you out and humiliate you in front of others and I'm not even sure it was legal! I was purchasing a single bottle of red Wine with my large grocery purchase! I was also informed that I can not return there at a later date to purchase any type of alcoholic beverage because they had seen me already.... An elderly lady who was driving a shopping cart was in the checkout line in front of me and asked several times for some help getting her groceries out... needless to say, I left my older son to pay for my groceries and I took them out for her! I have lived in the Wise County area for over 2 years now and of course Walmart is where I shop. Over the last 2 years of shopping at Walmart I have been disappointed every time I go. First off, the bathrooms are always filthy, it does not matter what time of day or night it is, it is always dirty. Also, the shelves are hardly stocked up and appears they never order enough products because when I grocery shop, I'm never able to buy everything on my list. I don't bother to ask if they have anything coming out because most of the time the employees response is "I don't know". More often than not I get a cashier who seems unhappy to be there, they do not greet me half the time and trying to price match is a nightmare! They have gone as far as to say that I'm trying to scam them out of money while looking at the actual ad themselves. I have recently started shopping at the Walmart in Haslet. I don't like the fact that I have to drive over 20 miles being that there is a Walmart close to me but the Walmart in Decatur is just not worth it anymore. read more
