    Best protein cookies ever

Maybe I'm new to the whole Walmart thing but I spent a solid couple hours here getting lost in all the affordable options and dreaming of crafts and projects to come! For starters, right as you walk in the east(?) entrance the dessert section is smack dab in front of you to your right, right next to the vegetables section might I add. They have mini pies for $0.50 each, such a wide variety of cookie flavors, and don't get me started on the cinnamon and apple breads. And for veggies, they had avocados for $0.90 each.. In Santa Barbara that would be a newspaper headline! I was surprised at how little wine and craft beer packs they had but happy to find Lagunitas IPAs. This Walmart, or any other grocery stores, do not carry hard alcohol either so you'll have to venture to an ABC Liquor store nearby for all tequila and other spirits desires. Their home decor, storage, crafting, event supplies, gluten free, and women's hair products aisles all shocked with their various options and very affordable prices. I wasn't however super fond of the garden section as it seemed to focus most on lawn mowers and outdoor planting rather than incorporate indoor and house plant options. I wouldn't recommend this place for organic fresh vegetables, house plants, or women's clothing. I also hear it's definitely not the safest spot in the world after 5 pm, and while I had a great experience I can understand why. The parking lot is huge, the employee at checkout was nice and timely, and the overall shopping experience was more than I had expected it would be.

Urinal filled to the top and ready to overflow with severe diarrhea.

The Walmart on Skibo Rd. has to be one of the worst around and they should be shut down by the Cumberland County Health Department for violating health laws and standards without any doubts at all. On my way home from the office I had to stop into this Walmart on Skibo Rd. to pick up a couple of things I needed. After I parked and as I was walking towards the store I had noticed a significant amount of law enforcement driving around in the parking lots. They looked like they were looking for someone. I also seen a lot of these private security vehicles driving around. As I was walking into the store I had noticed there was a lot of low life and vermin of the Earth hanging around outside. I was in the Walmart for about 20 minutes and I was able to get everything that I needed and I went up to the front to pay for all of my items. The line I was in there was about 5 people in front of me and the cashier they had working was beyond slow and she was more interested when it was her break time and to top it off, she had bad body odor. I paid for everything and I started to walk towards the exit to leave the store and I had to stop into the Men's room to urinate and wash my hands. When I went into the Men's room there was a very bad odor and rancid stench and it was revolting to my stomach. There was other Men in the Men's room using the other urinals. I walked up to one of the available urinals and I looked down and I looked again and I couldn't believe what I was seeing because someone had defecated severe diarrhea into the urinal and it was filled to the top and ready to overflow. This was no accident and was some type of a malicious act for sure. Whoever did this could have had the common decency to go into a stall and do it in a toilet bowl. I was going to attempt to flush it but I decided not to due to the fact it would have overflowed and ran all over the Men's room floor and ran out into the store area and someone could have slipped and fell in it. I was sick to my stomach from the sight and the offensive rancid stench coming from it. I took a quick photo of it as evidence and proof. I left the Men's room and I went up to the customer service counter and I demanded to see the store manager. The person behind the counter paged him. A couple of minutes later he came from the back and he said to me, "Sir, welcome to Walmart, how can I help you?". I replied, "Sir, how can you help me? do me a favor and go into the Men's room and look at the urinal in there that is filled to the top with severe diarrhea and that's how you can help me!". The manager went into the Men's room and he was not even in there more than a minute and he came out of the Men's room with his hand over his mouth and shaking his head and he came up to me and said, "Sir, I'm sorry you had to experience something like this in our restrooms, however this has been under full investigation because it's been happening on a daily basis and we believe it is employee related". I was appalled and I looked at him in shock and said, "Employee related and you mean to tell me you have people who work here that do disgusting things like that and then possibly handle people's food?". He replied, "I'm afraid so until the person who has been doing this is caught and fired". I replied, "Listen up and listen up good!, the next time I come in here and spend my hard earned money and I ever find something like that ever again in your Men's room, I am going to call the Cumberland County Health Department and have them send a health inspector down here and I guarantee this Walmart will be shut down and you will be out of a job!". He didn't say a word and I left the Walmart. I was sick to my stomach driving home from the sight and stench of a urinal filled to the top with severe diarrhea in Walmart...!

In my attempt to find gloves to protect my hands during the Coronavirus pandemic, I decided to try smaller businesses within the community I live in, rather than stores further away from my home. Thus, my visit to Bordeaux Drug Company. I remember during the hurricane season three years ago, I was able to get all the water I needed from them because of a bottled water shortage in other stores. I thought to myself that I would seek them out again for medical gloves. Not to my surprise, they were able to help me in my dilemma. Unfortunately, the gloves weren't the ones I was looking for (as they were out of a traditional medical glove) but, I was still able to use the ones they offered and carried at the time. With this said, the representative that helped me is, Ms. Jennifer Bass. She was not only kind and concerned about my predicament, but was eager to help me in any way she could. So, she suggested a different kind of glove with the same benefits as the ones I was looking for. She took the gloves out of the box to show me what they looked like to aid in my decision whether or not to purchase them. The gloves I purchased are "Dermatological Cotton Gloves." Per the label on the box, these gloves are notably "comfortable, soft, and sanitary protection for hands." Likewise, the gloves are "100% cotton, hypo-allergenic, hemmed for a neat appearance, and packaged for easy use." The name of the glove is called the "Cara" Dermatological Glove. Needless to say, I purchased two each, a large and an extra-large. If your fingers are long like my sons' figures are, then you will probably need the extra-large though the glove will not fit snug. That's okay, although the glove doesn't fit snug, it isn't so big/loose that you're having to repeatedly adjust the glove (or pull it up) for it to fit. Ms. Bass told me the price of each glove, (which is $2.05) and stated that she could order more for me if I needed it. I told her "yes, I would like to order 4 more pairs of the gloves." As promised by Ms. Bass, someone called me the following day to inform me that the gloves had arrived and are ready for pickup. My suggestion to anyone looking for anything because of the shortage of items on shelves everywhere...let us not forget the smaller local businesses. They are a great source to meet our needs and it will help to keep their businesses thriving (preventing closures) until things are better.

If you don't know how to provide basic customer service or speak to people respectfully, you probably shouldn't be working in customer service. I placed a pickup order yesterday for some Maybelline products. Of course, the concealer I received was already open and looked like someone had used almost all of it. I called the store around 7:30 last night and specifically asked if I could come in the morning to return or exchange it. I was told yes, as long as I had my receipt. So I come in this morning, and suddenly I'm being told they can't do anything without a physical receipt. I explained that it was a pickup order and showed them the information from my order. The woman working at the front counter was extremely rude and told me she wasn't going to do the return because the transaction was underneath her name. She literally turned the register around and showed me that she was logged into it. At that point, I asked for a manager. The manager comes around the corner huffing and puffing, and I explain the situation again. I had purchased two Maybelline products that were part of a buy-one-get-one promotion, plus a $5 off promotion. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable--I simply wanted to exchange the defective/open concealer for another color or return it. Instead, they were trying to charge me full price for the replacement product, completely ignoring the promotion that was applied to my original purchase. The entire issue was over a $7 product, but the way I was spoken to was completely unacceptable. I am NOT someone who normally complains, but I will not stand there and be belittled or made to feel like I'm dumb as fuck when I've worked in customer service for 15 years and know exactly how you're supposed to speak to customers. I have already called corporate, and I will be getting the general manager's information and making a formal complaint. I don't give a fuck who you are--if you work in customer service, you need to treat the people spending their money at your store with basic respect. The product being defective was frustrating enough. The attitude from the employees was what really made this experience unacceptable.
