I know every Walmart isn't the same however this one was a let down. Was looking for plus size women's clothing and limited is the word. No PJ's, a few pants and shirts . . . Even the associate who pointed me in the direction told me "good luck, there's not a lot there" I will say that the lady who checked us out was extremely friendly. She made up for the disappointment as she helped my godson make a decision over a purchase, made sure we had a gift receipt and got us on our way quickly. Walmart, I also need yall to do better with the lighting in the parking lot. The holidays sadly are time that security can be an issue, especially walking into a dark parking lot. My son and I have been ordering groceries from this walmart for about 3 years now. The store is clean, safe, reliable, and friendly. The staff are well trained and serve the customer well. We love this store, unlike the ghetto Walmart south of there at 121 and cheeksparger. That other store had staff steal dozens of items from us in multiple deliveries and at the car pickup. Terrible!! When our family called them to complain, they completely ignored us. So if you need high quality Walmart, avoid the ghetto one at Hwy 121 and use the Grapevine one up north off 114 and 26. Maybe it's the location it is in, but this is one of the nicer Walmart Supercenters I have been to. It literally has touches and things in it I don't see in most other Walmart locations. For example, in the bedding and furniture section, they literally have a bed on display to display the bedding etc. Another display has chairs on display. (Please see my photos for examples of what I am referring to). I have also always been impressed by how orderly and well-stocked this location is. I really am as proud of this Walmart as they are, as made apparent from the window graffiti. Which is very pretty by the way! However, my visit was for the bakery and the bakery was LACKING! I did, indeed, find cakes. But quite a few were not fresh. In fact, there were a lot of cakes marked down that were about to expire that day. It took me a few minutes to settle for a cake, and when I did and tried to get an associate to write HAPPY BIRTHDAY on it there was no one there. I confirmed this by actually asking another associate in the deli department, working behind the counter. He was apologetic though. read more

Nothing is more aggravating to searching all over the store for an item, not finding any help. I finally found what I needed and I have to wait in the self checkout lane to check myself out with no additional discount to do so. I stopped in to check out toys for a child's birthday party, but of course, I walked the whole store. I was looking for a karaoke machine, baby doll, and a craft. This is a medium sized store that had a regular basic toy selection...nothing magnificent, just regular. I didn't find what I was looking for, so I went to find a store employee. Not much help there - whatever they have is out on the shelf and would be in the toy section. Apparently there is only one karaoke machine and it's from Frozen for a 3 year old. They had two types of baby dolls: the material soft ones, or the hard small ones. They had some fun-looking crafts of sand art, make your own plastic bead jewelry, or grow water rocks. They do have the line of Justice clothing for girls, which contains some sweat suits and fuzzy jackets. These are cute. The rest of the store has the standard Walmart products. I needed canning jars and asked a different store employee for assistance. This employee was WONDERFUL. I grabbed up the box of jars and some Ball tools. They have a nice selection of canning supplies. All-in-all, this is your regular Walmart. I definitely give kudos to the one store employee in the housewares area, and the checkout employee....and the canning section. read more

I took my Sentra for service and was overcharged. Apparently the Tech forgot the oil service I asked for. Wasn't even offered a refund nor did he convey to me before starting on my vehicle, that they were out of the oil I had requested. Str8-up awful and unprofessional service. After visiting the new Sam's Club Grapevine, my husband and I stopped here to pick up some groceries. It was Football Sunday and Cowboys were playing so we figured the stores wouldn't be crowded. The crowd wasn't too bad. The shelves were fully stocked or at least more stocked than the Bedford location. We found what we needed. The self check out lines were minimal. Pinker Blades. I absolutely hate this store. These blades also suck. They literally ripped my material instead of cutting. I returned them. I was going to purchase the more expensive brand. I explained my experience to manager and asked if we could open the more expensive pair before I purchased them just so I could see they worked. They said they could not. I would have to purchase them and if not satisfied return them to the store. I explained the inconvenience of that and if they would open them and show me they worked I would buy them. After all that is their purpose in life. She explained they didn't have remnants to use for that purpose. Immediately to my right were small packaged remnants for sale for $1.97. I simply said you would not cut one of those $1.97 remnants to sell a pair of $26.97 pair of pinking shears? Please don't let Walmart run fabric stores out of business. Convenient location, large auto department, digital price displays that most Walmarts do not generally have and very helpful employees at the self-checkout floor. The primary reason for this rating of 1/5 is because someone did a smelly number two near the rollback/discount aisle and had simply put a "wet floor" sign over the feces. I know it wasn't cleaned for a hot minute because it was 10PM. That is completely unacceptable and beyond disgusting, it is literally in the middle of the store nearby the arts and crafts section. Maybe it was inventory week, but I have never been in a Walmart that had so many employees just milling around. There were also large packs of blue jacketed people lurking in the corners. Several times I turned at the end of an aisle and almost bumped into a group of people engaged in conversation. Only in the electronics section did anyone ask me if I needed help. Despite having already looked, I did need help, to locate the USB thumb drives. Pretty good prices right now. About $10 for a 16GB device. I bought one for my dad, who has never backed up his important files (all 500MB worth). Store was clean and tidy. No post to social media worthy encounters with other customers. This is a Horrible Location. It has declined rapidly over the last 2 years. Food Shelves here can be bare. Whoever does their ordering should be fired. I have noticed that their Great Value brand is taking over the shelves and pushing out the regular products. I guess that's their ultimate goal. Need to Hire more People! They rarely have have more than 4-5 check out lanes open at any given time. Self checkout is absolutely useless when you have people with their buggy's loaded to the brim. General manager Melissa a store #266 and her direct report both did not service me during business hours. They turned a man away before me without even knowing what he needed. The GM Melissa stated they are only doing exchanges and returns but again they turned a man away without even knowing he that's what he needed to do. I needed to send money to my family and I was not able to. GM Melissa said they need to be certified to send money and there was not one person in the entire store that was. I got to the store at 748pm. They should have closed at 8pm. So my complaint is read and act upon, I will be posting this on social media as well as on Yelp and google. BRYIN GAROFALO (bald tall man) who's AP at Walmart accused me of shoplifting and hovered over me at the exit saying next time he'll call the cops, trying to intimidate me. The way he approached to me was very creepy and made me feel uncomfortable. I didn't steal anything like why would I take a mask out of a package. he owes me an apology but Walmart isn't doing anything about it. Unacceptable! Worst Walmart I have ever been to. Customer service was the worst. I bought a visa gift card and when I tried to use it there I was told I don't have enough money on it when I just called them 15 min earlier and it said I had $50 on it yet my total was $31.15. I was then told to just call them and see how much money is on it but we literally said it's $50 on their even showed the reciet and the MANAGER gave no crap at all to help us. After having used this Walmart for almost 6 months now boy have I seen it's true colors. I signed up for the Walmart+ delivery service after not having great experiences with grocery pick-up at this location. The delivery service was even worse. Tonight I cancelled my service due to a second time of my order not being delivered with zero communication about this situation. I spent over an hour trying to call. I continued to get no answer. I called the grocery pick up number and the main store number. I will be going back to pick-up service at a different location. I have used pick-up service for almost 3 years and have never been so disappointed. read more

This store messes up 50% of their deliveries and no one seems to care. It predates COVID. Customer service is worthless. They have to call the store to address anything and the store doesn't pick up the phone. They will charge you $90 for groceries you didn't get, but although you didn't receive anything you have to make sometimes multiple calls to get a refund, and then you get bombarded with messages asking if you want to tip the driver for the delivery you didn't get. Now repeat this 2-3 times per months. You know Target delivers. Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods. None of them screw up as much as Walmart. The manager of the Walmart vision center walked up on me and other customers (well within 6 feet) while we were standing in line at the pharmacy with her mask off her nose. When I said something to her about it--that she was supposed to have her mask over her nose, she was smart aleck. "Who is she talking to?" "I'm talking to you you are at work and you are supposed to be wearing a mask." I called to complain to store manager and they do not pick up the phone. Two weeks later I walked by the Walmart vision center and there she was again with her mask off her nose. If she won't follow the rules for customer safety please fire her! I wanted to gift my newly 9 year old boy to a teen titans GO bday cake and as a passionate and old school teen titans fan, I firmly believe the younger generation of teen titans GO fans deserve to have the full throwback experience too as close as possible. I used to shop here weekly because it was a one stop shop for everything I need. A few weeks ago they did a store remodel and downsized the regular products they used to carry. Why? The store didn't get smaller so why did the choices get reduced? I can see getting rid of lesser name brand items and slow movers, but Huggies baby wash? Diet Crush? I know those items moved off the shelf rather quickly all the time. The yellow and blue decor isn't all that thrilling either. Boo! Hiss! This warrants a complaint in the complaint box!!! It's a walmart, sometimes you have great service, sometimes you don't. I don't like the change of layout but that is happening to all of the area Walmart so I can't avoid it. It's hard to give honest opinions based on various friends that used to work here, some with great experience working there, staying for years, other with bad. The biggest negative is that it has been ages from the time I've been here because it is such a head ake to get in there. Construction made it worse, but still its worse than it was in the 10 -15 years ago when I was up here regularly when I was in high school ... makes it worth it to spend more at target or other grocery stores to avoid the traffic head ake, inside the store & out. read more
