I purchased an item online that was available only at this Walmart. i am not a Hesperia local but I needed this item soon so I chose to drive 30 minutes to pick it up at this location. I received an email and text message saying that my order was ready to pick up. When I arrived to the pickup location, the woman scanned my item and for some reason it cancelled my order. After about 20 minutes of nothing, they deemed it was not possible for me to pickup my order. They had it ready and my order was in their hands at the time. I was not able to purchase this item at the regular registers due to it being an "online order". This was a huge inconvenience to me. I wasted my time ordering at this location. It's February 23, 2020. 2 boxed frozen meals we bought have an expiration of NOVEMBER 18, 2020, & the other 2 expired DECEMBER 12, 2020!!! If my son gets sick, it will be Walmart's fault! The last item I needed to get was heavy whipping cream. Luckily dairy is something I always check the expiration date on. There was a full shelf full of Land 'O Lakes heavy whipping cream that expired February 25, 2020. 3 days til expiration. I took out every single one in hopes to find a fresh one, but nope, every single one was almost almost expired. On top of that, it took maybe 10 minutes to finally ask someone to see if there was more in the back, but as my luck would have it, that guy was just passing through and it was not his department. When I asked if he could get some help for me, he looked like I was really putting him out. He left for what felt like forever, then finally came back to inform me that even HE couldn't find any help, so I asked for a manager, but at that point, this same guy went to the back of dairy and asked an employee if there was more heavy whipping cream, guess what? There was. Why the heck would they leave old product on the shelves when they actually HAVE fresh??? Makes me wonder how Walmart is doing financially. read more

This is hands down the WORST! Walmart I have even been too. Came here to have two tires put on my car. First they tell me they can't match their own online prices . Ok fine I told them to just give me wt they have. The young lady that says she was a manager was super rude and had attitude the hole time as like she was better then u. Then she call over Jeremy witch was the automotive manager. His ppl skills needs some help. Does not know how to talk to ppl. So after all that was squared away and we where set for the tires. Get told there is one car ahead of u n it's a 2 hr wait. Ok fine being handicapped I can sit here for that long so went home come back in two hrs. And the car has not even been touched. We r coming up on three hrs now. Remind u this was just for two tires. As the other lady a new lady n first time talking to her and straight out attitude with me. This place seems to be ok with how their employees talk to customers this is just sad. Wt happen to the customer is always right. Not with Walmart workers they must hate their job so bad that they take it out on customers and if not for these customers they would not have a job. They could not even figure out how a key works to open a trunk had to have me come and open it ‍ used that as a excuse to y it's not done. In spite of the fact that it's Christmas time and everyone is busy, Alison in electronics gave me all the time I needed to get the info I necessary to make a good decision. 5 consecutive times at this one department: It is usually 20 minutes to get someone over to paint but Mother's Day 2016 we broke that record. 30 minutes in and requests to 3 different workers later, I just had to leave at that point. My husband now can't stand coming here anymore. His final straw was the other day when he went to get spray paint. He went through three different employees all who said they'd get somebody to help him in that department. He said more than 10 minutes went by and him and another customer were still waiting for help. Him and the other customer were talking about how they only come here cause they have the items they need because its mainly a long wait to get items. He was just saying how they have so many registers but always only have a few registers open with the slowest cashiers when a employee finally walked up and heard him say that and rudely said "actually sir, we have 12 open!" Then a week ago, we got the privilege with dealing with the rude Auto Service there. Again a long wait as other employees take all their time standing and talking around making the customers waiting to be helped their LAST priority. As we were leaving, they were getting complained to by two separate customers. Lastly, I LOVE Subway, but the gentleman who works there, Anthony, is just another person there who acts like you're a inconvenience to help. He's the "Bon Qi Qi" of Subway. But of course, his coworker wasn't any better as he was just standing by the register dealing with his personal family matters right there in front of everyone for 10 minutes. Gawd I really hate this store! Let me start with their stock: there never is any. And it isn't just the food, it's the whole store!! They get a shipment every night, so whoever is ordering for them sucks. There are only 2-4 lines open every time I go in. You're hit up for something, ie, signature, money, tamales, CD when going in AND leaving. Not to mention people stopping you in the parking lot to ask for money because, "my welfare check hasn't come in yet" (yes, someone actually said that to me)! I don't even know why we shop here except that it's closer than the other stores. Otherwise the produce at Cardenas is a ton cheaper, and Winco has the stock and better pricing on food., also Targets bakery is THEE best around! But from now on when I need something quick I will go to Target. It is worth paying just a couple of cents more knowing it will actually be in stock there, and I won't get harassed on the way in or out. read more

This place is horrible no help what so ever and when you do finally find someone to help you they seem pretty incompetent and will most likely be of no help to you. I went to the Hesperia WalMart for the first time as an out-of-town visitor for an oil change. To summarize, I waited 2 hours just to hear from technician Ebernando that they couldn't do my oil change because they didn't have the necessary tool. I expected to hear sooner than 2 hours that my service couldn't be complete. . I reported my unsatisfactory experience a few hours later by calling Steve, one of the tire & lube department managers. In order to get help and answers addressing my concerns, it took several more hours of my time with: a) 2 statements that I would be called back regarding my concerns from Steve (co-manager) and David (service manager of the dept) b) 2 more phone calls I initiated because the managers never called me back as promised c) talking to at least 4 different people on the phone, including Jason (service manager) and Khai (technician) in addition to Steve and David from above. It is not worth your time and money to go to this location for an oil change after the run-around and incompetent, underqualified, and disrespectful customer service I received. Their lack of consideration for my time was unacceptable. Do not trust their tire and lube department to complete your service and meet your customer needs. read more

Pharmacy cannot get a single thing correct, from having us traveling back and forth to the store because of communication problems within the staff to making my wife or myself wait for hours to get what should have already been filled. Opened at nine, then shut down at 11am one day for a long break while my wife waited again like nearly every time before. I've used a Walmart pharmacy in La Mesa, CA and had no problem, but this one in Hesperia must lose customers every day. I transferred to Walgreens, and not only did Walmart wait until Saturday to transfer my information making it impossible to get my life saving Lantus on time, the pharmacist refused to cooperate with the new pharmacy or my insurance company to rectify the problem. I contacted the manager on duty to get the name of the pharmacist before I started writing this, and am still on hold, next call corporate, I'll just ask them to read all the YELP comments on this particular store. I am currently contacting a lawyer to see if someone can sue when an incompetent stands between a person and their life saving medication. Now I have to go to urgent care because my insurance has no doctors on call on the weekend. This event is giving me chest pains, and if it gets worse I'm going to the ER. STILL ON HOLD. It has been 40 minutes so I'm going to hang up and call back. This entire store should be fired and replaced with people who can manage just one simple task. They suck. They really shouldn't offer lay away if they can't handle it. The short little assistant manager didn't care about anyone in line at the lay away. They started tell people who were already in line for over a half hour that they were going to have to come back the next day. They couldn't find any of the items. Which was also the case when I initiated my lay away. I should have known better. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 is because of sale associates Aaron and Lokisha. Aaron was super helpful and friendly, total problem solver! He really should be employee of the month because he was about the only person that handled the situation. He was totally professional, let us know that he understood our frustration and apologized. We ended up having Aaron get the same TV we put on lay away from the stock int he back and paid for it at a register other than layaway. Lokisha checked us out and she was really nice as well. This Wal Mart really needs to get their act together. I am sure they don't care, because they are Wal Mart, but if I ever do go back it will only be because of the customer service I received from Aaron and Lokisha. read more

This Walmart is huge! I found what I wanted. I think all Walmart's almost have the same floor plan. The only thing I did not like is the checkout. Not enough checkout stands were open to handle the amount of shoppers. read more
