Was so excited to get a nice Super Walmart here in Hesperia. After a few times of going there to shop, customer service really sucks. I've gone by myself, with my wife and with my 10 year old and 4 year old, all those times someone is following us around as if we were going to steal or something. Its just like really I'm with my family shopping have you seen the people that work there, they look like they steal. Workers are rude there, no one looks at you when you ask for help. Ghetto just ghetto, makes Hesperia look bad. I'm sticking to the Super Target we have better, better customer service, cleaner store, and well organized. Hope Walmart Corp changes things in this store or they will lose a lot of business eventually. I went to get my oil changed there, never been to the automotive part of the store and I will never go back. they said it would be 1 1/2 hours to do, so I walked around, went back and waited and the guy tell me they don't have the oil filter, it's a canister, didn't know it was that kind. All this after I was waiting for a hour, for nothing. then on top of that, I went to get in my car and hit my knee on the steering wheel because someone moved my seat up and rearranged the whole thing, for their comfort I guess, all to move my car 50 feet. I absolutely hate going to this place. The night crew is so rude. I get that they are doing there job at restocking. But I was trying to get the items I wanted and this lady that was restocking was so rude. I grabbed a item and she just looked at me and said oh that's great! I Mean why the hell are these people restocking while the store is still open. Yes I get its probably irratating that they restock a section and some one comes and grabs something. Ok I want to first of apologize about not taking any photos of what I can out to yelp about. Wal-Mart hasn't always been my first go to store, but since this one on Main has opened I go in a pinch for food and other items. Lately when going since before school started their restrooms haven't had toilet seat covers. Big no no for me n my family when using public restrooms. I have been going for 3 things that were not in stock and given them 2 weeks to get it in stock and still nothing! How hard is it to replace ammonia, salt, and a vitamin? I think that going to Target for my household items and taking a drive back to Winco will be worth the drive to get everything in one shot. And the whole Costco checking receipts as if I pay for membership is a big joke. This is not legal to do. I pay for my stuff and even when I actually consume things I still show the wrapper to pay. It's a pain in the butt. I pay a membership for Costco n expect that they will ask fort receipt. I have a credit card at Wal-Mart but that doesn't mean to check my stuff n sign off my receipt. Unfortunately, I come here a lot because I live so close. Once in a while I have decent customer service but majority of the time, I have terrible customer service. They have such rude employees. Well... it IS a Walmart. Self explanatory. We went to check out in automotive. There were two other people waiting. There was no checker to be found. So we waited and waited. Then a girl finally appeared. She started ringing a guy and ran into an issue. When she tried to get a manager over, no one answered her and she once again had to leave her post. She ran to go find a supervisor, and was gone for awhile. There was a man that worked there named Hank that came out with a cart. I told him we had waited quite awhile and asked him to ring me up. He did but without an ounce of enthusiasm. He really didnt want to. When a supervisor finally came over she asked him something about his cart and he says "I dont know, i dont work this area, i just am doing this (ringing up) " in a resentful tone. So sorry to interrupt your employee Walmart, but maybe you should get your shit together and staff more, and help your employees out. And also when i was on the floor , i asked a lady in produce to look for something for me and she looked like she was listening and then walked away and started talking on her radio left me midsentence. She eventually came back and helped me but..ugh. sp to recap. Poor service, if its an issue of understaffing, then staff more! Nobody should have to wait that long to check out. I've ordered 3 times from the Grocery pickup - 2 times they cancelled my order, the 3rd time I had my son go over to pick up only to find that the main part of my order was out of stock and part of the other too - so I REALLY didn't need to go get the items, and wasted his time and my 30 minutes on the phone with them to figure out what in the world was happening with my order. I had a $20 voucher to use, and they said that I'd have to call corporate (again) to get that put back into my account, since it got used on the unfilled/partial order. This is nothing short of a nightmare - they need to mark items out of stock, give a rain check or backorder the items PRIOR to people making the drive over there (25 minute drive for me each way) to pick up these items that aren't even there for pickup. I can see one time, but 3 times, it is so unprofessional. Someone in charge needs to get their act together, it's easier for me to just run INTO the store and see what's on the shelf than waste my time, money and gas hoping an order they say is ready for pick up actually IS ready for pickup. I'd say DO NOT use WalMart grocery, it is always like russian roulette when ordering. read more

This isn't a bad Walmart, really. It's clean, and the staff are no different than at any other Walmart store, they act like you don't exist. The deli has pretty poor service, so we don't get our meat there anymore. Good customer service goes a long way. Also, the book selection is piss poor. I've never seen a Walmart with such a tiny and horrible selection of books. I have no complaints about the rest of the store. I don't mind waiting in lines, cashiers are mostly pleasant. read more

I had the worst experience at the Walmart store in Hesperia California on Main Street. I have three Walmart gift card that would not scan do to Walmart scanner issues. The assistant manager Lucy refuse to manually enter them. The reason she did not want to enter them it's because she did not know what she was doing and if she was supposed to manually enter them these are her words exactly. She refused to assist me with my three gift cards and told me to go print them. I do not understand why her incompetency has fallen on the consumer. One of my gift cards was from the Saver catcher App in which the gift card is a literally an egift card. I am upset and completely disgusted with her incompetency and inability to assist me the customer. The worst part is that I and 4 others customers in line waited over 10 minutes to even have her come to assist even the cashier was irritated on how long it took for her to come and help, just for her to tell me she did not know what she was doing and was unable to help with Walmart gift cards. One of the customers in line even stated that they have had the same issue with Walmart previously that there are many employees there who are incompetent. I have gone to this Walmart many of times and have worked with a manager named Missy. Missy is wonderful and has helped me manually enter more than five gift cards at one time. Lucy's lack of customer assistance, knowledge and her inability to create an outstanding customer experience has me questioning whether I will ever go to Walmart. I would rather pay more somewhere else or customers come first and customer experience is amazing then go back to Walmart and get another unknowledgeable assistant manager like Lucy. I only asked Walmart to please properly train their management team on how to assist customers be more like the manager Missy with every customer interaction. read more

Quickly becoming ghetto walmart. There are always so many open toy and make up packages all over the store with all the items gone. I have brought this to the attention of the employees and they just laugh and put the trash back on the shelf. The employees are rude and have no concern. The only side of the store that has any sign of hope is the grocery aisles other than never having anything stocked but at least it's clean empty shelves. Back to the toy aisle. It is like stuff is just tossed on the shelves with no regard to organization. They have whole aisles which seem to be the catch all, no one knows where it belongs aisle. I have found cases of bandaid cases of food and other things sitting on the shelves. We are talking not even open cardboard cases. I live near this one and every time I walk out shaking my head saying I should just go to the Adelanto one cause for a ghetto area at least that store is clean. read more

Just had an interaction at this store. They put the wrong oil filter on my son's car so we spoke to store co- manager Alan Love who had a total lack of customer service skills he didn't introduce himself he asked if I could wait 30 minutes which I agreed to after 40+ minutes I ask if he could be called. He arrived after an additional 10 minutes and stated "You can't expect me to drop what I'm doing to talk to you" I reminded him that it was wal-mart error and that I had honored his request for 30 minutes and that it had been closer to an hour. I ask if I could make an appointment with the store manager he said at that store (4340)I could only speak to him of course I know that is not true and will be speaking to someone else read more

OK so went to Wal-mart in Hesperia....and just browsing around, stopped by the meat & poultry section. not looking to make a purchase just browsing and i find some meat in the cooler that almost looks cooked....as i look around, i notice another package of the same meat...that is a nice pink color (like it should be). Went through the rest of the meat of the same type and found 2 others that were going bad. Well, you might expect this in any store right? I took pictures of the meats side by side for comparison. Then called for a Manager. The person that came over was the support manager (dept unknown) When advised of, and shown the meat, he took ONE(the worst) package off the shelf and left the rest. He said the department manager will not be in until 7am and they can deal with it then. We advised him that this can make people sick(even kill) and he still only removed one package from the cooler. there was more meat there that was bad different types and he did nothing. read more

I have to say that I have very limited options in the high desert but this and Target are it up here. The cash register people suck and they dont give a crap. Most of them wont even look you in face. The workers stocking the store dont even get out of your way and when they have that morning round up they pretty much take up the store right where people are shopping. There are places in the store where their is alot of traffic (vitamin , medicine ) why not make them bigger ..dont stock during heavy traffic times . I usually just go in there with a list and I am in and out in at a certain time. If I ever have to return I prepare to stay there a long time because by the time they figure out that they need more than one employee to help you its too late. Finally always check to see that you get all bags because 50/50 you probably missing something and you will probably have to return and do it all over.. read more

Terrible Walmart experience on Main in Hesperia, Ca. Twice now I've been to this store and usually stop by as this store is on my way home, and on two occasions now I have seen the same utterly rude so called Asst. Mgr. seems to take pride in demeaning her employees in front of customers. Even when there are long lines of customers waiting she stands there rude and insulting her associates about why things aren't getting done instead of rolling up her sleeves and stepping in to assist the poor lonely associate left to deal with all the customers. It is quite obvious that all managers at this Walmart are not cut from the same cloth. I say this because there are other managers that you will see throughout the store pushing pallets and stocking shelves etc., but not this one lady manager, she would rather spend her time being unprofessional, I believe her name is (Marcela) Asst. Mgr. Well Ma'am, you need to go back to New Manager's training. Also, there are several other supposed managers always walking around just chit chatting and when you ask them for assistance when you can't find something, they make you feel like you're an inconvenience. This is why this store is a "hit or miss" Walmart, teach all your management staff to be professionals first and foremost, and with that they should be able to put people first regardless of whether they be a customer or employee. read more

I always shop at Target because I love their Redcard discount and donation to education program. I decided to stop at Walmart on my way home from Target (I live right behind Walmart) because I've been seeing them advertise a lot about price matching and "glady" accepting coupons. So I bought 5 items, 2 that were price matches and 3 that I had coupons for. It took about 10 minutes for the cashier to ring me out because she couldn't figure out how to price match the second item and had to call a CSM over. Then she couldn't scan 2 of my coupons and so I told her to forget it and void those items. So I went to ask the CSM why my coupons weren't accepted and she told me they just updated their coupon system to a better system. Better how? Then she looks at one of my coupons which says 'Buy 4, Get 1 Free' maximum value is $4.75 and says "You can't use that because the item you're getting free is only $1.78." I told her that I can get the item free as long as the item is less than $4.75 and she stood and argued with me over it. So I ended up going back to Target to purchase the same items using the same coupons. Walmart will never see me back there again. read more

Went today to get tire prices. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I was able to speak to the employee. I was told to go to another line as he couldn't help me. That line was the same as when I first got there, no one had been helped. I left, found an assistant manager, explained my problem. She said that she would see what's going on. As we walked to the tire center, a couple who had been waiting was walking away. I asked if they had been helped, they replied ' no'. When we got to the area there was only one employee there. She located the other employee in the back room, they were in there for awhile, when she came out she told me that I would be helped. I wasn't. I left. This Walmart has changed greatly in the past year. Poor help, bad attitudes. Shelf stock is constantly being moved, making it harder to locate, as you have to find an employee to help. Store is ok if you don't have to ask for anything. Checkers are in lala land most of the time. Go to the Victorville store it's alot better!! Won't be going to the Hesperia store any more. read more

This was the worst experience and service that i have ever seen! I had to walk into the service center because i stood at the desk for 20 plus minutes. The guy last night at 5 p.m. was slamming phones,cussing under his breath ect. I asked him if i was there at a bad time and he reluctantly said no. I was quoted 45 minutes to an hr even though there was only 1 car in the service center. I shopped for an hour and spent $100 while i waited. I basically got out of their at 7;30! The manager that walked by and tried to lock me in said that yes they only had 2 techs,yes i did just see the tech grab oil off the shelf because he stated that they have oil and supply problems. No offer to help or discount and spoke to me from a distance and when i asked for a service manager he said im the only manager and walked off! The guy told me 15 minutes 2 more times in the next hour and was rude,rude,oh ya and rude! He also smelled like MARIJUANA when he returned! WOW! Really? I paid for a synthetic oil change and will now take my vehicle to the dealer and have it checked because i am concerned for not only my truck and what was done to it,but also that there are not any safety problems now. If your employees want to do drugs and be rude please tell them to do it on their own time! Thanks again and i will be doing my holiday shopping over at Target. read more
