Came here on a weekday, but it was super crowded. They have a very large parking lot. The staff were nice and friendly. Some items were priced a little higher, which was a shock for me. I was under the assumption. Walmart was the cheapest place. The place was organized and appeared very clean however when using a gift card that's where the complication came in to play. If it doesn't swipe, they cannot punch the numbers in and you have to go to customer service or regular register, which is a little bit lengthy for time and a pretty extensive process. In the age of AI in modern technology I'm surprised they can't make it a little bit more easier of a process. I hope your experience was a little bit better than mine. read more

My husband and and went here yesterday for the first time in 2+ years. Even though it's much closer, we had been driving to Rock Hill, because it was a much cleaner store. This place had gotten very dirty and the employees down right rude. Wow! What a difference! From the product departments, displays, cleanliness and helpful employees, it was great! You felt like you were in a Target, more than a Walmart. We made sure to tell the cashier to pass along our happiness in the new look, and I hope she did. I rarely go to Walmart. The service is non service but tonight was the worst experience I was told in order to purchase a propane tank I had to go outside. No employee at Walmart was willing to help. I bought the tank outside by myself without the handicap assistance they lie and promise. I got an empty tank for my $21.50. In order to fix the problem I had to spend 20 minutes on hold to get the full tank I paid for in advance. Zero help. Pitiful help to a new level. I'm done with them and I'm a stock holder. While I do enjoy going to this location because of the convenience, the customer service needs some improvement and if you in need of a nice razor and not a disposable one, I would go somewhere else. It took 10 minutes for them to "unlock" the razors. The cabinet that had the razor I wanted didn't have a lock on it so it was stuck shut. When the employee called over the walkie the response she got was "I'm at lunch so I'll just figure it out later" and after that I got "sorry but you'll have to get another razor" I'm very disappointed with this experience. read more

This is my local Walmart and for what it's worth I'll say it's as good as I'll get. Wally World is Wally World Plenty of registers and only 8% of them with cahiers. I will say I'm always able to find anything I need when I come here. It's Walmart :-) This one is dangerous to the waistline because it's in the same parking lot as Kristy Kreme and that HOT sign is deadly LoL. I've only had one bad incident happen here and it was rectified so I won't go into it. I like tbt curbside pick up and the upgrade to the customer service area where you can walk in and enter your order info to pick up your online merch workout standing in line. It's super convenient and easy to do plus faster than waiting in the customer service line with people that may be returning items or making complaints. read more

Cleanliness. The store inside is nominal but outside is horrible. They let their trash blow into the woods aligning the property choking out the plants and natural growth . This is an environmental nightmare. For walmart to allow our natural woods to suffer from lack of caring for our land is criminal . read more

Full-size Wal-Mart that is a hair's breadth across the border into South Carolina which means you save a few cents on your shop. It's brand new and it has the nice signage and the nice fixtures. It's a massive (i.e., normal) sized Wal-Mart so if you're shopping with folks, you'll want to plan where to meet up if you get separated. No, I'm not kidding! Keep an eye out for the "clearance" aisle. Every so often, something truly decent lands in there. read more

This is store has always had hit and miss service. My experience today showed that the Walmart Culture as a whole is becoming from bad to worst. I purchased an outdoor swing for $99 which is $150 cheaper than store price. I purchased one and the order was cancelled because item is not available at my store. I went on and purchased another one from another store and guess what? Same thing happened again. Order got cancelled because store does not have any. I stopped at the store to check if this is true. To my surprise, the Indian land location had at least 8 that I was able to see. Walmart will not price match Walmart.com This whole experience is BS but what is new with Walmart. This particular store has minimum staff on hand. We went on a Sunday afternoon. Went to checkout and it was a nightmare. There were no cashiers to be found. Only self-checkout. There were at least 40 people in line at both ends of the store for self-checkout. The wait time was up to 45 minutes. Put my items back on the shelf and left the store. Went to Target and was in and out of the store within 10 minutes. read more

This evening I visited Super Walmart for bottled water. The brand that I wanted was not on the shelf. A young lady was putting items on the shelf from the pallets that were nearby. I saw the brand that I wanted, which was underneath another heavy item. The Walmart employee named Shannon, moved the top case and proceeded to put 3 very heavy cases (boxes) in my cart. Each case held 6 one gallon bottles of water and she picked up each box by herself. The boxes that she was picking up were coming apart even before she started moving them. In totaled it was 18 one gallon bottles. She smiled and was very nice. I commend her in doing a great job. She is definitely an asset to Walmart. Thanks again Shannon. read more

Regardless of how much I dread it, every now and then, like all of us, I have to visit Walmart, and it seems to get sadder with each visit. Their Christmas photo prices are hard to beat though, so I'm back again this year. Overall, customer service is a joke. Except for the Vision Department, which I have found to be excellent, this location is no better or worse than any other. I shop at this location its safer than the South tryon . However here lately selves are not stocked. Lines are always down the isles waiting to check out not enough registers open. Right now I am standing at the fabric counter I need material cut I have wasted 15Mins standing here!! I have pushed the button twice an asked a store clerk if someone could help me they paged for person so here I still stand!!! If you are not going to have someone to work the dept Close it !! What can you say other than, "It's Walmart?" Big, has one side groceries and the other side with the other non-edible stuff. Scads of people and merchandise. Bakery and deli with all the goodies. Walmart is the option for regular portions of shopping. Costco has large quantities, like multiple boxes of tea, or sauce, or giant boxes of cereal, etc. So Walmart is the place if you just want a couple of boxes of tea, or smaller boxes of cereal or one jar or can of sauce. This one is big and is open long house. Parking lot is near always packed with cars. It's Walmart. read more

Kind of agree with S L. here... the store is nice and clean from being really new, but some of the items felt like it was lacking. This store is super clean and doubles as a grocery store (which is a good combination) when you want to buy food from somewhere. It's right on the border of SC so you get the benefit of SC taxes but just a less than 5 min drive to NC. I think I will stick to the Walmarts that are closer to my house, so no more special trips out to this one unless I am in the area. read more

Went to this Walmart location today. All the holiday discounted items were not ringing up ( clearly stated on sign adjusted at register) and the cashier would not change them. Then using their app to check prices on a toy it rang up $10 more. She would not honor that price either. Walmart has lost my business. This is why Amazon is going to take the big box stores down. Do not order grocery pickup from here. Got an email saying basically half my items were out of stock. Are you seriously telling me there is no tortillas, no cheese and no meat in this whole store. You have got to be kidding me and I can't even go inside to just get the items myself until they refund my money for the items they claim they didn't have and apparently couldn't substitute either. Also that was a little before 5pm and I don't pick up until 6-7 so my refrigerated and frozen items are going to be sitting out for that long??? Just horrible and this service is useless. As far as Walmart's go, this one is pretty decent. They have recently redone some of the aisle configurations and things seem less cluttered. The most challenging thing for me in the grocery area and the produce. It is hit or miss. Sometimes you can find fresh produce that is not expensive. Other times, it appears that the veggies and fruits are old and not even a good deal. The fun part about Walmart is watching the people. Everyone stereotypes the shoppers. What I like about it is that it's a collection of people from every walk of life. The check out lines moved very quickly on this last visit, which is a good thing. I can only take the Walmart experience for so long. And then I'm done. read more

First off, Jesus H Christ does anyone that works there know how to stock?? I swear they never have anything stocked, and if they do you can't get to it. They never clean up their empty stock boxes, clear the isles, have the isles they're on unblocked... do I need to keep going? I've lived here for years and it's never been this bad. I can't even get down isles due to there always being boxes everywhere, or just stuff thrown about. It's just ridiculous that a Walmart that is 24 hours can be so much better put together compared to one that ACTUALLY closes. read more

Found what we needed. Quick checkout but cashiers was out of fives and they don't carry tens in their drawers. So we had to wait for our change. And wait and wait. Finally after about 10min. Sharon the assistant store manager(according to name tag) came shuffling out of the office walking super slow. Came down to the register and gave the cashier money. No apologies offered no quickness in her action. She didn't care at all that a customer was waiting. I went inside with my two emotional support dogs and was told to take them back to the car and leave them in the car. Knowing I have someone who works in Walmart (just not this one) that they can not make us leave because we have dogs. I wasn't even asked if they were emotional support dogs.
