I have not been a consistent Walmart shopper before. Sure I've popped into some, including this location, for the odd video game or movie purchase now and then. But I have done most of my grocery shopping elsewhere. Looking to trim budgets, I've started shopping at this location after a recent move and I have to say, I am overall impressed with this store in terms of grocery selection. Most stuff on my list are in stock, and at competitive prices. There's some annoying things here or there. I think the price of ground beef is often just as expensive at comparable stores. Certain higher-end items like Ezekiel bread products are MUCH higher. The cereal I was buying here had a sudden 20 cent price jump, so now I get it from Aldi. But overall, the prices are what you expect from a typical Walmart. What has really shocked me, in a good way, is the produce selection. Collared greens and cabbage are very good at least as of Nov 2025, and I'm seeing them constantly being restocked. Store seems to be decently clean. I am going to knock off a star for the parking lot. It is very dimly lit, and honestly gives an unsafe feeling. The area is fine but they could really use some lighting. It doesn't help that the McDonald's in the same area closed, so you're often parked by a very closed, dark building. read more

never any registers open. Long lines of at least 20+ and was waiting in line and they opened a register. then they close it just as I stepped up with 4 behind me. She didn't say anything until I started to unload my stuff. They switched us the another and I have never sent a line move slower only three ahead of me. Took 30 minutes just for one person with probably 100 grocery items. They did not open any more registers to relieve the line or the cashier and by yhis ti e the self checkout line was almost done to the other self check out area. If I could do less than one star, I would. What was supposed to be a quick trip to pick up our holiday card prints turned into a hoopla. Here's why this might be the worst Walmart in the world: 1. We could not find anyone to help us at the Photocenter (I think they were short-staffed all around). When we did find people, they wanted to just hang out with us because their shift doesn't start for 20 minutes. They were friendly, but why stand by the counter if you aren't going to help? 2. The photos were not cut out yet (despite the email saying they were ready). The employees had never used the photo cutter before. It was an ordeal. 3. The place reeks of B.O. and weed. 4. We saw three active shoplifting acts in progress during our visit here. 5. My soul was sucked out of my body as a result of visiting this Walmart. Walmart located on Indianapolis a few miles from broad ripple neighborhood. My family and I are in town from Lousiville on a weekend trip for my daughters cheer competition. We are dining in broad ripple when the wife said "have to make a wal mart run and grab some makeup for daughter and some drinks". So we popped the closest wal mart in the gps and made our way. Pretty standard wal mart super center. Very large and spacious on the inside. The place was very well kept and clean actually. The workers left something to be desired. Couldn't really find anyone for assistance and at the u scan we had like 4 there arguing over who was gonna help the guy across from us with his help light on. Overall it served it purpose. Seemed like a nice story. Not crowded at all. Customer service could use some tightening up for sure. read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever used. Discourteous, unprofessional, rude, misleading, time-consuming, ignorant staff is main problem. Pharmacist is unapproachable as he often uses his English as his 2nd language as his crutch. I would have 5 prescriptions for my family of 4 and have to go up to pharmacy at least 4 times a month to get all scripts. Always some reason why we had to come back! I wouldn't suggest ever using them unless you enjoy torture! read more

Had 4 tires replaced at the service center. They did not replace the valve stems because they did not have them in stock. Did not tell me that and 1 of the valve stems leaked. The next day the tire was flat. took it back to Walmart and they said they couldn't fix because they didn't have parts in stock (it is a standard rubber stem, not TPMS, etc.). I had to take it another tire shop to get it fixed and pay for mounting and balancing. Lesson leaned. Never use Walmart again. read more

Nothing I can really say about Walmart that has not been said already. It is a great place to buy groceries and necessities for your home. This location is good and the staff is very friendly and accommodating to your questions. I have not had a bad experience at a Walmart to date, and this location is an exception. I find the prices to be better at Walmart and the selection of goods to be better as well. I do not shop at Walmart that often, but when I do, I do leave satisfied and happy with my choices. During the pandemic, I did curbside pick up at this location and it was perfect!!! I highly recommend the curbside pickup feature at this location, because it will save you time!! You may have to wait a little bit for your groceries, but it is still worth it!! read more

I just want to say that I use the Walmart app almost every time I visit any Walmart location. If I am looking for an item that I do not regularly purchased, and struggle to find the item I will always search it with in the app which knows which store you're at based off of your location. So it tells you what aisle it's in with a letter and number listed. The old aisle markers were smaller and blue, honestly somewhat difficult to find, so I am so excited that they have the new aisle markers with larger font and a bright yellow color to help shoppers easily find the items they are looking for!!! thank you Walmart for making my life a little easier!!! read more

I stopped at the 73rd & Keystone Walmart today and it was busy as usual. It is comparable to most Walmart's in that regard as well as being somewhat messy. The women's clothing area was fairly messy and the women's restroom definitely needed a cleaning. I was able to find a good clearance deal which made the trip worthwhile. Walmart always has great deals but dealing with the crowded parking lot and crowded aisles isn't always worthwhile and frequently frustrating. read more

Let me start off with, the fact that my grocery pick-up is ALWAYS DELAYED! My grocery pick up was for 6-7, at 6 I get a text saying it's delayed. Cool, stuff happens, I get it. Happy to report that I had a great experience in this store! Dreaded going, because the store has had very, very long lines, and the employees were tense and tired, w/o enough help, in recent months. The store was clean. Had to interact w/ four employees. All were pleasant, helpful. Found what I needed, store adequately stocked. Enough lines open. Self check operating well. Checkout was quick. I am not a big fan of Walmart. Most of them seem to be extremely unorganized and the employees are usually nowhere to be found. I know corporate is partly to blame for low employee count leading to less then clean stores. However... this Wal-mart is typically clean and organized. I was able to find everything I was looking for and get thru one of the two lanes being ran by a human relatively quickly. They have the new orange vanilla Coke. Haven't tried it yet. read more

Reverse discrimination at this store 100%. It's happed 4 times now. An old feeble man from India could barely walk he asked the Walmart employee, who had the Walmart jacket on, where the milk is...she points at the front doors and says quite clearly "the milk is in the front of the store." I said loudly "Sir, I don't know why she just pointed in that direction but there's never been milk in the produce area it's always been in the back of the store refrigerated which is entirely on opposite end of the store from where she just pointed. " she rolled her eyes and just acted like nothing. Then today the employee had her earbuds in. I asked her where her body scrub is for another shopper who asked me where it is. That Walmart employee who was stocking items got rude and said "I didn't hear a word you said." I felt like saying take the earbuds out and then maybe you can hear the customers. I asked her again she pointed down an isle I went down it nothing not a single body scrub. I told the girl who walked up to me sorry I can't seem to find it. The employee peers around the corner to see who I'm talking to them notices she's not white then all of a sudden gets all giddy and walks her over to the area of scrubs in a whole different isle. Since our last visit this store has gotten a major upgrade. Everything is so shiny and clean. We went in for nail polish and left w a cart of a bunch of crap. From the dozen of Walmarts I've visited this is my fav. The layout here is wonderful. Each aisle has plenty of space to get through. The items that were on sale were labeled just so you know. Unlike another store I won't mention. *Cough Target*. I loved that there was an individual in a yellow vest to assist w questions. I'm not going to go around ranking all the Walmart stores of the town/world but this one is a disaster. Keystone has several medians so depending on which direction you're heading, it can be a hassle to come/leave this strip mall. The store itself is a bit messy, in organization and dirtiness. I've seen multiple occasions of teenagers shoplifting and the staff does not seem to care. I've seen employees yelling back and forth carrying conversations. I've also noticed that they've stopped price-matching so I'm not quite sure what the draw to come to this store would be. I've had to wait really long for people at the service counter when there are multiple people working and standing around. read more

Where else can a paraplegic/double amputee with scoliosis and fashion sense worse than Macklemore's thrift shop actually go and feel relatively normal? You got it. Wal-Mart. This particular Wal-Mart Supercenter is the one nearest my home, at least until a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market opens up a little bit later this year. Yep, it's true. I live in a neighborhood that's so bad we're actually excited about getting a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market. Unless you were locked in closets for days at a time as a child and are used to feeling alone, you don't go to Wal-Mart for the customer service. You just don't. You really, really don't. If faith healin' preacher Benny Hinn were to be given a choice between praying for me to walk again or praying for good customer service at Wal-Mart, I'm guessing he'd choose this footless man walking. Now then, oddly enough, it was only about a week ago that I actually entered this Wal-Mart and actually DID GET real customer service and actually did have someone smile other than when they were getting to go on break. It was awesome. It was also incredibly rare. While it's not exactly rare in the shopping experience of a wheelchair user for items to be out of reach, what is actually fairly rare is for it to be nearly impossible to get help to actually reach said items. During a recent visit, I actually sat there and watched the time go by, 47 minutes, before I received help to reach a drink item on a higher shelf. At this particular Wal-Mart, I've had times when I actually had to go to the front of the store for customer service because I couldn't find anyone who would help. While I don't quite echo the sentiment that this is a scary location, that could be simply because I'm used to living in a neighborhood so bad it kind of feels like going home. The employees, for the most part, are not knowledgeable of the products they carry and, maybe even worse, they haven't been taught how to fake it. It becomes bad customer service when someone says "I don't know" and you get the strongest feeling they're telling the truth and there's no one available they can actually ask. I do give Wal-Mart credit for having plenty of accessible parking, though I've often learned that in Wal-Mart culture having a disability can be defined as "My step-cousin's baby mama in Kentucky has syphilis so it's okay for me to park here." My rule of thumb is that if you can drive a Hummer, you need to get your lazy butt in a real parking space. If you can run across the parking lot, you need to get your lazy butt into a real parking spot. I could go on. I won't. Wal-Mart does typically have an awesome clearance section and, let's face it, for most of us who have to watch our budgets, it's a pretty convenient store to do some "quick stop" shopping in a variety of areas. This particular location has most of the Super-Center perks ranging from an optical department to a deli to a bakery and, I believe, they also offer a ship-to-store option. Let's face it. As Americans, it seems like we've sold out in terms of being willing to settle for infinitely less if it'll save us a few bucks. Wal-Mart saves us bucks and we're willing, or at least some of us are willing, to deal with bad customer service and a not so pleasant shopping experience. I'm just as guilty. While some of Wal-Mart's business practices bother me, I can't say it's stopped me from shopping there. Has it reduced my shopping there? Definitely. Target is a much more guilt-free shopping experience and the customer service is infinitely better and the stores are immensely cleaner. It's also a bit more expensive and a lot more expensive in some key areas important to me. Here's the thing, and I truly believe this, eventually people want to feel valued. Eventually, people want to feel like they matter as much as the almighty dollar. So, eventually a store like Wal-Mart will become a store like the struggling, downright depressing KMart and it will fail. Wal-Mart needs an action plan if it truly wants to survive and this store, which showed some signs of hope just last week, needs to focus its attention on building a better customer service experience, employees who actually smile and actively seek out opportunities to serve, and efficiency in shopping and check-out. What if Wal-Mart were to prove that in addition to being a major financial value it could also provide the best customer service around while building its reputation for employee retention? It's possible, but this ain't it. read more

The curbside and delivery service is trash! They always run behind, orders never done on time or ready when they're supposed to be. I've had this experience three times now. My orders are ready next day instead of the same day!! They didn't even deliver when it was supposed to be delivered. Plus curbside has forgotten items or grabbed wrong items for my pickup. Don't recommend Keystone curbside or delivery. If you want something, best to make time and go in and do it yourself...but you'll be waiting in long ass checkout lines. This store is pretty nice and clean. However, staff interaction is is extremely poor if any at all. Purchasing 45.00 work of some quick items at check out. The gentleman said nothing. Was blaring music in his ears and whisper sing it. I greeted him no response. Then I was putting my bags in the cart. He to bags off and walked them around myself to put them in the cart. I said thank you again nothing. Then when it came time to pay he was so obvious to what was happing. I'm scanning to pay with walmart pay. He said we don't take apple pay. I said it walmart paid not a word. Once completed He didn't check bags and or move the bags. Intern a bag was left. When contacting the store when realize. You are providing options that are not available to you. You speak to no one and the phone rings once and disconnects or rings and rings until you guessed it. It disconnects!
