The cashiers are rude and accuse customers of stealing. The environment is very hostile and majority of the employees are unwilling to help the customers. The Covid-19 precautions put in place are not enforced in the slightest and the restrooms as well as isles are often crowded and disgusting. Would not recommend going here. Wow. I was kinda impressed at this Walmart. Of course we forgot a couple things on our trip to Dallas, and had to stop here. It is right next to the hotel, pretty much within walking distance if it's not freaking freezing. I don't particularly like Walmart, but I didn't have any problems with this one at all. We got waited on quickly and efficiently and found everything we needed, plus a little extra, as they had all their Christmas candy on clearance. I went to the Pharmacy today (I have been going for years) The Pharmacy supervisor Sam Patel told me they had no profile on me so I gave him my License and he said oh the dentist called it in wrong and they are stupid. I doubt they called it in wrong because they have been doing it for years. If they did he could have asked me if I had been there before instead of telling me I had never been there. He is the rudest person I have ever met. I would recommend that he get some help with his customer service skills. I will tell my Dentist what he said and see where that goes. read more

Rude employee. Had one guy working a pallet jack in the Christmas (Christmas!!!) section act like he wanted to fight me this morning while I was looking for a stuffed animal. Apparently, I was about to enter some type of DMZ no man's land (which was not clear at all) and he let me know all about it as rudely and as menacingly as he could. Trying to intimidate me or something. It didn't go like I guess he thought it would, but dang, just wanted to get a stuffed panda for a Christmas gift not all his drama queen bit. A simple, "you can't be back there" would have worked wonders here, not all the mad dogging and whatever it was he was trying to do. E for effort though. I recommend the Bedford location. NEVER GO HERE PAST 3PM. The morning times aren't too bad to go grocery shopping, but if you are wanting to get 1-10 items, go somewhere else. The lines are ridiculous past 3PM. And at night I swear it is Club Walmart. Who goes full-out grocery shopping at 3AM!? I just wanted to get ice cream! This pertains to www.walmart.com, but YELP doesn't easily let you post a review, so I picked a store near my house. Either way, Walmart is getting worse!!!! My local store didn't carry a new cd by the band Hinder, that I was wanting to purchase a hard copy of (not downloaded). I was forced to order online, and I was told delivery would be completed by August 24th. Of course, they have delayed the shipping. Shopping in the store and no cd available is bad enough, but not able to receive a music cd after 10 days is unacceptable on an online order. All they have to do is purchase the item, if it's not in stock, and ship. They make a hell of a margin and they can't even do this right. Wonder why Amazon or Best Buy are kicking their butt ? Same as most other Walmart's. Lines are long and interaction with staff can be hit or miss. Being located on the frontage road makes getting back out of the parking lot a little difficult. read more

I go to this one usually because its closer, and cheaper than other grocery stores, but I try to avoid it as much as I can. Once you drive into the parking lot, it looks like crap. Trash all over the parking lot, shopping carts everywhere, which means, when you go to grab one inside, they are usually not there. If there are a few, they have trash all in them. I believe half of the shopping carts are outside in the parking lot, and half are being used by employees for returns and stocking. The place is nasty inside, usually you see a lot of empty items that are not on the shelf. No matter what time, you go, from 9am - 3am, expect at least a 20 minute wait in line. I went in the other night, and only bought 3 items, went through express for people with 10 items or less. 2 girls in front of me thought they could just check-out there with 33 items ( I counted). Then their food stamp card was having issue, finally went through. Then they wanted to purchase a gift card, separate. Try to put a $100 on the gift card, couldn't get their card to work, I guess not enough funds. So they left and the waiting process for a manager to void the transaction took about 15 minutes. So in all, I was waiting for 35-40 minutes just for 3 items. There are better walmarts out there, and around. This place needs to be shut down, or new management. Its crap! read more

THE CLUELESS IS STRONG WITH THIS ONE!! I placed an order online through walmart.com with free pickup at this store. I received an email that my order would be ready about four hours after I placed it. Not so much. Not only did I not get a follow-up email stating that my order was ready, when I called the store twelve hours after it was supposed to be ready, I spent 30 minutes circling their phone system to get answers. When I finally got a manager, I was told that my order was on hold from walmart.com. Walmart.com had already taken the money from my credit card, so I'm sure this story was squirrel manure. I cancelled my order, talked to my credit card company & got the funds hold reversed. I then took my money and got an even better product and free shipping elsewhere. There sort of is no point to write a review about a Wal-Mart as they more or less operate at a base level of what one expects. However, sometimes a store falls below those expectations and when that happens, you might as well write a review about it. I've gone to this place many, many times. More than I care to count because of its relative location to one of my properties. The service here is consistently bad and I'm not sure how lines can be so amazingly long and how the wait can be so horrid. I know part of the reason has less to do with the store and moreso the customers... but an average wait time of 15+ minutes in a line (and sometimes 30+ minutes late at night) goes beyond reason. Other than that, I would say just watch out where you park given the haphazard nature of the customers and to generally play it safe here. If you're looking to shop at a Wal-Mart in this area, maybe consider the Las Colinas one or the one off of I-30 to the southeast. I have had much better experiences with those two Wal-Marts. read more

It truly amazes me that I have a hard time finding a place to park because of all the shopping carts that are in the parking lot. When I get inside, the shopping cart corral on each end of the store is completely empty. I ask about the shopping carts and told they are in the parking lot. If I want I have to go back outside and get them. It is raining, and their employees do not go outside to get carts. Why is management not providing for their customers? This is why this Walmart continually fails. There are lines have no more than two or three people in them. Do you have more lines open now than I have seen at any given time. Why does management not have a cart crew in place to ensure that their customers have a cart to shop with? To spend money in their store? I am going to leave without spending a dime all because I miss management team does not get it. It is like this all the time. I have an employee doing pick and pull walking behind me talking on her cell phone. She bypasses hey spill of food that somebody put a wet floor sign down on. This is the prime example of what type of them people Walmart employees. And they want $15 an hour to do what? To go to work and have a social club? I am so frustrated with Walmart. read more

Absolutely RUDE staff! Every single person. My boyfriend and I went up there after we got off work around 3:30am to buy a video game. Absolutely not busy, but there was no one to be found at electronics. No big deal, we just pressed the button that calls an employee for help. We waited for about 15-20 minutes and not a single person showed up. We even watched as a manager walked by, bit disappeared before we could catch him. We finally got fed up and headed to the front counter. I counted 3 employees within 15 feet of the counter. Went in for a simple money order. The machine malfunctioned AND they gave my money order to the wrong person. Their solution was I get to pay twice and have to wait 2-4 weeks for a refund. Though today chaped my pantolones to no end....again remind everyone 4months pregnant. I had to park at the end (expected) but i literally had to clear my spot of 7 buggys before i could(sadly expexcted) so i flip on my hazards on a UP aisle and clear my spot ....again 4months pregnant, 32 degrees getting jello and soup for my deathly sick daughter......and some *very explicit words * of a person pulls in my spot coming down the UP, what??? However, after the second--if not third--time that milk from this place has expired before the date on the carton, I think we'll try to avoid it as much as possible. I must agree with most of the other reviewers here. This particular Walmart is a mess. I went in for one item - a little pocket notebook that costs all of $0.28. I forgot to get one while at my usual Walmart & stopped off at this one. I was at the store around 7:30pm on a Sunday evening. The parking lot is a mess. Too many people & cars & shopping carts all over the place. I parked at the very back of the lot hoping my car wouldn't be destroyed when I came back out. Upon entering the store I could tell it was going to be an ordeal because the lines were so long! Even the "less than 15 items" line was way too long. I found my notebook & stood in line for what seemed like an eternity. The cashier was very friendly & had good manners, addressing customers with "yes ma'am/sir." I got to observe the male greeter at the entrance near the checkout while I was waiting in line. He seemed to know a lot of people personally & was hugging children & other customers, fist bumping guys, & just being an awesome greeter in general. He's probably the best thing about this store! I think I will try my hardest to avoid ever having to return to this particular Walmart. Not the worst one I've ever seen, but far from the best. read more

Well I only gave this store a star because I had to. I don't know why I'm even writing a review because everyone else has hit the nail on the head! I literally get a twitch in my eyelid when I go into this store. It stresses me out THAT bad and I have only gone when I had to because it is so close. So what's wrong with it? Customer service is nonexistent. I am not from here so I'm use to someone somewhat helping me with a smile and just a little bit of effort. Nope not here! I asked a lady where the crayons were, because I assumed that I could. I mean she had on a blue shirt, name badge, and was playing in a cardboard box at the end of the aisle. But i could tell i totally messed up her day by asking for help. Miss 2014 actually told me at the jewelry check out (I actually got the ring stops from her...after she put her Cheetos down to help me) "how much stuff you got cus I was gon say uh uh Boo Boo if you had mo than 20! Hahaha" I'm a black woman and the black women in this store make me sick to my stomach because they act like ignorant untamed savages! I had the luxury of watching the assistant manager Tanya in action. She is an unprofessional joke. She was treating the poor fitting room associate like complete trash and I just sat there watching and she didn't seem to mind. And I'm not prejudice. I have gone to many countries and I always learn some very important words, and I'm not talking curse words. Please, thank you, excuse me. Just because you don't speak English doesn't mean you can run over my child, run into my cart, cut me off.. you get my drift? Someone backed into my car, left her phone and wrote the note in english. I called her. She is 17 and she give the phone to her dad who speaks english. He told me that she has liability insurance. But when my insurance company called him (because he never called me back) he doesn't speak English now! And... the same things that everyone else said! Worst customer service I have ever experienced at a Walmart. Went Saturday morning to return an item. No one was working customer service. I stood and waited, 10 mins past, then 20...i went to ask a cashier if someone was working at customer service. She just looked at me and shrugged. There were about 6 others behind me and a line began to form. Again, we tried to call for assistance. No one knew anything. I wonder if I had gone to pick up a Tv from the back and just walked out, would anyone have noticed? I waited another 15 mins before I finally walked out. I literally just had to raise my voice at the pharmacy people, which I never do (3 of them). I went to them to give me my lancets that I know work with my machine. I Described them to a tee. They didn't know what I was talking about. How many do they have that come in pink, green and blue in one box? The other associate says to use something different, even though I know what I am asking for works. Another associate is like "well they are not returnable". Ok so that's why I am asking for what I know works. I tell them two weeks ago the lady brought me what I am asking for and THEY WORKED. So another girl goes back and grabs what I was asking for all along. These? YES! the other woman tells me the product i am asking for " isnt returnable." What meter do you have? OMG! THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I AM ASKING YOU FOR, I WOULD NOT ASK YOU FOR SOMETHING THAT ISN'T IT AND CAN'T RETURN IT! Third dork, well this isn't returnable. Omgg. Just ring it up.
