Walmart Auto Center ! The mechanics/workers were very nice and did a great job with my car. The guy checking me in was very informative and honest about wait times. I came for a headlight replacement, wiper replacement and he let me know they did headlight cleaning, which I have been wanting to get done for a while! Worked out great. Prices are reasonable too, they're listed inside the shop and the check in person will let you know the price estimate during check in. Inside the walmart, they have a nice selection, on the better end selection wise in comparison to some other Walmarts ! read more

It's not like the normal Walmart that abnormal to use through the bathrooms were also exceptional. Worst grocery experience ever - avoid this store. It's set up/staffed to be heavy on quick check out (just a few items) and almost no service for full baskets. My checkout was 40 minutes today. The cashier was the slowest ever with one lane open. 4 full carts in front of me. I then asked 5 different employees for the store manager so I could point out the issue. He was not available. Employees were just milling around and no one said hello or could they help me as I filled up my basket. These problems start at the top - my guess - terrible management. I literally drive past 2 Walmarts to come here to walker springs (Kinzle way and Clinton Hwy). Today was especially remarkable considering my desperate need for a bulletin board for college. I came right after my last lab of the day and searched intensely for the 17x23" size that would fit in my small desk space. I needed this, like yesterday, and I was grateful to see many various sizes in stock, but I couldn't locate the size I needed. I double-checked my location in the Walmart app and verified that it said "in stock at this location". I walked to the closest department that had associates visible and it happened to be electronics... boy was that a mistake! A gentleman named "Clay" said he would look for me for this particular item but that he would be right back and for me to wait there. He proceeded to go behind the electronic dept. counter and accomplish a task, but then he goofed off and cracked jokes with vulgar language with other associates and a manager. He did this for another 20 mins and I was still standing there waiting alongside who I assumed to be was his trainee that he abandoned. He finally noticed me still waiting there and he came to the aisle with me. I showed him the item on my phone and the place that I believed the label was. He scanned it and told me that he had 22 in stock! What joy I had to hear that! But then he brushed it off like "if it's not out here then someone "mis-inventoried" it. He said he was sorry but to check back after the next shift came in later in the day and maybe it will appear. I said, well to confirm that there are not 22 here, should I find a manager? He said, "yes,...well no, you need to see customer service if you want to get any help like that." As I was walking away from the aisle and towards cust. Serv. A worker locked eye contact with me and greeted me, I asked him if I could trouble him for a moment, he was excited to help. He came to the aisle, scanned the code, and then said he would go check in the back and for me to wait there.. I was a little nervous considering the previous encounter where I waited over 25 mins while a mr. Clay killed time. Within 5 mins here comes the man with a bunch of the exact boards in his arms! He smiled and said "I found them!!" And I asked for his name and thanked him for all his help. A mr. Scott deserves a raise and an acknowledgment from senior management for saving the day and acting in courteousness and professionalism. He was happy to greet, assist, and resolve. Retail is a critical case-by-case basis in the battle for customer retention. Scott surely won me over! Clay, on the other hand, certainly deserves some progressive discipline and training before he even is considered worthy to train any other new employees. What's worse? The manager in electronics seemed to have enabled his "slacking" behavior and foul language. I will surely keep myself distant from the electronics dept at walker springs in the future. And clay is the sole purpose of this 1 star rating. Scott deserves 5! read more

We have been waiting for a delivery refund on my Mother's Healthy Benefits card and Debit Card since September 4th, 2023. Groceries not delivered to my 83 year old Mother. This location is a great location. I don't understand the bad reviews on this. This walmart is clean, organized, stocked (see photos) and employees are friendly and eager to help. The cashier was very nice and asked if we found everything ok. They had several lines opened- The door person did not harass you at the door and ask you for a reciept like almost all of them do. I don't always give a 5 Star to a Wal-Mart but, this one deserves it. They have a pretzel shop in here, yes those soft, salted pretzels we all love. My go to Walmart location. They are always fully stocked! I can't think of when I had to go somewhere else for something I needed. They have a great produce section and the deals for greens are generally the cheapest. I also came here for an oil change and I was a tad disappointed with the additional services provided. My car was definitely not vacuumed. It's a walk in service and it took less than an hour since there was no one else there. read more

I visited this store on August 16, 2019. I attempted to purchase about a dozen assorted items. Upon reaching a checkout, I was told the Credit Card Terminal was acting up. I was told to "put the card in 4 times then swipe". The transaction was declined, with over $12,000.00 in our primary checking account. To make matters worse, the cashier very loud, yells out, YOUR CARD WAS DECLINED. I walked out leaving the cart and products sitting. I went home and contacted Walmart Corp. 24 hours later, I got a nice message from them stating it had been turned over to store management for review. One week later, not a word. Walmart has seen the last of my money. The embarrassment they put me through was enough to send me out of their world for good. Thank you Walmart for helping me make a better decision on where I spend my money. read more

Oh I see This Walmart is doing a remodel, always nice to see an upgrade going on. However when an establishment has a large sign outside saying something to the effect of mind our mess but we would be more than happy to help you find what you need, you should damn well deliver. I could hear and at times see employees stalking shelves and such but when approached they scattered like cockroaches when a light gets flicked on. So strike one there Walmart. Upon finding my items and managing to snake my way up to the registers it was pretty easy to find the checkout line because only one was open. The only one. Not even the bank of self check out lines were up and running which could have been useful seeing as how 10+ customers were huddled together in the quick checkout line, most of us with way more than the 10 item designated sign. There's strike two. The icing on this flat cake was the fact that the some of the elusive customer service agents had decided to congregate near us, the huddled masses. This wouldn't really be a problem if I hadn't heard one of them utter the words, "I'd hate to deal with that line". That would be strike three. Had more lines open this time and the Money Center had no line. It was amazing and I went after 5pm! My cashier was sweet and helpful too! They have Brookside for $1.98 at the lanes which is the lowest price I've seen in a retail store for a small pack. They have a pretzel place in there so if you are hungry don't walk past because they smell good. You can get 1 twist for $1.50. I advise not to go after 5 during the holiday seasons. read more

Where to start? The online order pick up is astonishingly abysmal. You call the number and they don't even bother to answer the phone. They just pay attention to their little phone for online check ins only. I have kids. The toy section is useless for boys. The pay wall for consoles is absolutely ridiculous. Try actually upgrading your system to fight off bots not make money of those of us trying to buy something. Your cart people are the laziest I've ever seen. Numerous times I've had to carry toilet paper from the back to front, grab a bag of dog food and carry it all to the self check out on the other end of store because you've closed the pharmacy side. I've waited at the cologne case for an hour trying to get help. Pressed the button even had an employee make an announcement. Three workers told me it wasn't their job and they wouldn't help find someone with keys. Oh and let's not forget the panhandlers and people begging for money all in the parking lot AND the store that you won't run off. Save money, love better? Absolutely true. I save money and live better avoiding this store like it's diseased with COVID. read more

I dislike dealing with Walmart on the best of days, but this experience was plain awful. I made an online order, followed the mobile app instructions to check in and proceed to pick up. I followed the parking lot signs to pick up, I pulled into a pick up spot, called the number, I informed the lady with my info and waited 10 minutes for my order to be brought to my car. I called back to see if they were bringing my item out. I was then informed that since my order was not grocery, I needed to go inside to pick up my item. Ok, when the lady confirmed that I had an order, why did she not tell me then that they did not have it there. Why did she not offer to have someone come check my id and order number and go get it for me seeing as I had already waited 10 minutes. Mind you, it's pouring raining and I have a toddler in the back having a melt down. Very upset, I go inside to pick up. I wait in line for 11 minutes just to be greeted as the guy running the pick up area was having to run all over the store for people's orders, by himself! He called for someone to help the people that were in front of me, to help them to their car, once he found their stuff. He finally gets to me, my order isn't ready, even though I checked in at least an hour before I arrived. That's how long it took to get there with the weather and traffic. Anyways, he has to walk over to whatever other unorganized area Walmart has created for this inconvenient pick up service that they have created, and find my item. He did offer me a shopping cart for the item but I was so frustrated, I just refused. Also, during this whole dilemma, no one ever came to help the couple to their car, they were still waiting for a worker as I was walking out of the store. The guy working pick up was very friendly and kind, very helpful and way over worked. He is the ONLY reason I gave this pitiful service 2 stars. If you're going to have a pick up service, it needs to be a full pick up service. At the very least, along the parking lot signs, have posted which area is designated for grocery only and everything else needs to be retrieved inside. read more

This store has a very POOR selection of clothing for plus size women! I come to shop to buy something and never can because of this. One tiny little section in the back and hardly any clearance on anything for plus size woman. The prices are outrageous on the clothing to where no one can afford a almost $20.00 shirt. Low prices everyday? I don't think so! Why don't you try having more of a selection on plus size woman than the average skinny minny. However, horrible service, incompetent employees and managers, just all-around awful experience every time! The store is always a messy disaster. 1 star is TOO HIGH of a review. I went into the Walmart Supercenter #2065 on Walbrook on Monday, July 22nd. I experienced the WORST customer service in my entire life. My car's battery died that day, but I had bought it from a Walmart in Morristown, TN three years ago. My battery came with a 3 year warranty plus 2 year prorated plan. I figured worst case scenario I could get a prorated battery. I was told when I bought the battery that if I lost the receipt, all any Walmart had to do was scan the barcode on the top of my battery and it would pull up everything any Walmart would need to make the exchange for me. So I thought I would drive down to the Walmart 5 minutes from me, Store #2065. Prior to driving down there, I called the store to talk to the Auto Center to MAKE SURE everything was what I thought. I was transferred to the Auto Center 3 times before anyone answered my call. When they finally picked up, I was told on the phone to come down and they would get everything worked out. So I put the battery in my other car, and drove down there. I bring the battery inside to the Auto Center and I was confronted by a lady named Claudia. She tells me she's not sure she can help me, but she would get a manager. I should have gotten the manager's name. I just remember he had curly hair and glasses. I explained to him I was told on the phone that they could help me. He proceeds to tell me there is nothing he can do for me, because I didn't even buy it a that Walmart. So my warranty is void, because I moved to a different town? This Walmart refuses to honor my warranty and sends me out the door. I thought the manager was completely rude. He didn't even try to help me in the slightly bit. That's what I call terrible customer service. I put the battery back in my car and call the original Walmart I bought the battery from. They explained I should contact management, because I could get my battery replaced at any Walmart. With the way my conversation with the manger ended, I saw no point in trying to go back in. He made it very clear he has no interest in helping me with my battery. I drove 15 minutes down the road to the Turkey Creek Walmart, walk my battery into the Auto Center, and explain the same situation to them. They scanned the barcode on my battery and replaced it with NO HASSLE. That's EXCEPTIONAL customer service. Even though I live right next to Walker Springs Walmart, they will never receive my business ever again. I can not begin to believe the level of disrespect they gave me for something that the Turkey Creek Supercenter fixed in less than 5 minutes. I will always drive out of my way for the Turkey Creek Walmart from here on out. I cannot bring myself to step foot in the Walbrook Walmart ever again. read more

This is a good Walmart. The employees are at least courteous and sometimes are even friendly. It runs out of the furnace filters that I use and sometimes some of the groceries that I want too buy. This is a better Walmart in comparison to Parkside. The parking lot is in better shape and the bathrooms are usually cleaner. I am not familiar with the other local Walmarts. read more
