I love Publix and love them even more because they give me FREE ice cream or cake bar (your choice) for my birthday and 1/2 birthday! My birthday is coming up, so I picked up my ice cream tonight. If you're want to buy a delicious, moist cake for a special occasion, purchase your cake here! They taste great and they're a great price. I purchased my wedding cake here and everyone raved about my cake. Instead of saving my cake topper from my wedding, I just ordered the same exact cake topper on my one year anniversary. If you don't need a cake, they have lots of other catering options! Publix also has recycling bins out front. I like to recycle styrofoam and my extra plastic bags here.

This review pertains to the Publix product, "Greenwise Tomato and Basil Ravioli". This is without a doubt the worst ravioli I've ever eaten. There was very little filling inside the ravioli to the point where it had no taste aside from cooked pasta dough, so it tasted of nothing. To call this "ravioli" is an insult to every Italian kitchen which has produced actual ravioli. The package states in part, "...with mozzarella, ricotta, and parmesan cheeses". As there was no taste of any of these ingredients perhaps the three cheeses were present nearby in the production facility which made this awful product but never actually used in the making of this "pasta". Italian chefs across the globe are crying tears of disgust at your company's labelling of this "food product" as ravioli. My Bride and I cooked half the package contents and after tasting the finished result threw away 90% of what we cooked and the remainder of the package. If Publix's goal is to attain mediocrity, well, congratulations, you've made it.

I remember the first time I made a sub.

Bakery is awful. Called 5 hours ahead for specific directions on cookies and they failed. Never been to a Publix who sells crunchy cookies.

The cleanest and nicest store in the area. Has a wide variety of food and a great seafood selection. The shelves are always stocked.

I paid for the cake on July 21 and specifically verified that it would be delivered to our wedding venue at 3:00 PM. I even had the bakery double-check the order, and I was assured 100% that everything was set. When the cake hadn't arrived by around 4:00-4:30 PM, we had to start calling to find out what had happened. We were then told that someone had supposedly called on the 18th and changed the order to an 8:00 AM pickup. That explanation made no sense, considering I didn't even finalize and pay for the order until July 21. How could someone have changed an order before it was even completed? What was even more frustrating was that if the bakery truly believed the cake was supposed to be picked up at 8:00 AM and no one arrived, why didn't anyone call the contact numbers on the order? Instead, no one reached out, and we were left scrambling with only about 30 minutes before guests arrived, wondering if our wedding cake would make it to the venue. We were even told they weren't sure if they could get it there in time. As for the cake itself, the decorations were beautiful, and I do appreciate the decorator's work. Unfortunately, the cake was noticeably lopsided, and the cake itself was dry, especially considering the price we paid. It simply was not worth the cost. Mistakes can happen, but this was a wedding--an event that can't be redone. The lack of communication, the confusion surrounding the order, and the stress this caused on such an important day were unacceptable. I sincerely hope Publix reviews its procedures so that no other couple has to experience this on their wedding day.

Pushy people at the check out line acting like I was in there way - even though my transaction was not completed yet and I was trying to get my bags. And the in a rush young people fulfilling Amazon Orders for Prime or trying to stock the shelves - I can't tell you how many times I have been treated as is I was an impediment to what they are trying to do even though I am a paying customer trying to navigate my way through the store. it gets to me sometimes. There are too many people trying to shop in this store for the size of it. Too many people "In a Rush" to get on with their lives. I do feel like I am back up in the North East sometimes when I go there. The best times to shop are during Tennessee Game Days or on a Tuesday night of all things. I go there because they do have things that other markets in the area do not have - fruits, vegetables, organic products. I do like the fish market guys. I do like certain cashiers and try to always go to them. I do like being able to find certain products there that I cannot find anywhere else - . I do like their supplements. There are things I do like. But the whole Prime thing (order fufillment) has put a huge black mark by the shopping experience. They really need to train their restocking people to be mindful of the customers and to be a little nicer while they do it. But between trying not to get run over in the parking lot when I am trying to get into the store and not getting run over while I am in the store by the oh so many busy people in there, it has gotten to where my stress levels goes straight up when I shop there. What I will do is try to go during off hours, and I do try to do that. But this is a pattern. My opinion is that for the amount of customers they have and the amount of order fufilment they do - the store probably needs to be twice as big as it is. I gave them three stars - but like I said - it is always a stressful experience for me.
