We stopped at this Walmart to pick up bottled water, snacks, and a few other things we needed for the rest of our road trip. The store had everything we were looking for, so it was a convenient stop. This Walmart was very busy, and the parking lot was crowded. I also noticed quite a bit of litter outside, so it wasn't the cleanest location. When we walked in, we were greeted by an employee. I also noticed several upside down umbrellas hanging from the ceiling to collect donations for a charity, which I thought was a unique and creative idea. Went online to schedule an oil change. "First" come first serve" policy does not ale you to make an online appointment. I got to the store 10 minutes before open. When they opened I was told that they "are not accepting walk ins and can schedule me for 7 days out". I get what we are talking about but come on guys, do better. The short version: I waited over an hour for a pickup order of 13 items. I've never experienced a trip quite like this, and in fact I am still here. I had a relatively small pickup order, 13 items (like milk and bananas). For 45 minutes I sat in my car and watched as the waiting spaces filled up. Not a single employee was fulfilling orders. I tried calling the store multiple times and nobody answered. Finally I went inside, obviously I wasn't in danger of missing the person coming to my vehicle. Inside, the customer service line was empty and the two employees there told me they "would look into it." After calling The store 10 times and waiting over an hour, Brandon finally came up from the back, kindly shook my hand, and told me they are busy so it's taking longer than usual. I'm still not sure what they're busy doing because they're not fulfilling orders! It would certainly make sense if I saw someone working hard and bringing people their groceries, but it seems that they just forgot to stay people today. Brandon went inside and hasn't come back since. Addition: I can't believe it, but it got worse! They brought me my items. Milk was warm to the touch and "frozen" chicken was completely thawed. I like this Walmart Super Center. I went to return something and made some purchases as well. There was only one lady working the customer service desk, so it took a while to get to the counter and get my refund processed. But she was very efficient and quick...at one point there were 4 Walmart employees around the customer service area, but only one doing the refunds and exchanges.... They have a large grocery section as well as a large Walmart store section where you can get auto supplies, paint supplies, electronics, home decor, shoes, stationary, etc. Every time I've been here, I have found they have a good inventory of items, they do not seem to run out of stuff like other Walmarts and being a Super Center, you have a lot more choices than the Neighborhood Market on Federal in Pompano. It's nice to have the self checkout, which I usually prefer since they move faster than the regular checkouts. read more

I purchased four tires online and made an appointment at this Walmart location. This is an interesting store. Great store but come early and have a lot of patience. My tires were waiting for me and my appointment was acknowledged. But there were computer and staff issues. Finally, my car was being taken care of. I walked around the store. It is a beautiful store, well stocked, nice bathrooms and great prices. I was happy with my tire installation and the value was the best. You will have to come to this location with patience but the customers can be demanding and confrontational with the staff. I did not give it a five star rating because the auto center has very limited seating. And the TV was broken. read more

Never bother to call here for anything because no one ever answers the phone. Never order food to be delivered because they can't get drivers and on e constantly has to cancel. They lock you out of the dressing rooms at 8 pm but don't tell you and there is no signage about that. Never shop during any lunch hour, after work, or on a weekend. There are never enough cashiers and the lines are 20 people or more. Staff is rude and not helpful in general. Occasionally, they're fine at the deli. This store doesn't even have a self checkout because of shoplifters. Baby formula is locked down but electronics are sitting out loose. In order to find a half decent Walmart, I would have to drive to Palm Beach County. read more

There were about 3 people in line when I walked in. We waited in a LINE. When it got to me she completely ignored me and let some lady who allegedly had been there "since 7" cut in front of me. If you want to get serviced you WAIT IN LINE and then when I said I was next she got nasty with me and said no you're not she's been waiting. It's 6:40AM on March 28, 2020 and I've come here to get a few things during the coronavirus pandemic. They have special hours due to the circumstances and people have to be reminded about social distancing. At the check out line, Walmart has placed six feet social distancing reminder stickers on the floor that are about 2 feet × 2 feet. Although having a worker wear gloves protects the worker, the money people are handing over and then it's being redistributed is cross contaminated...overall all, we, the community, could be doing a much better job at protecting ourselves. This location isn't in the best of areas, so be prepared for what one may call attitude or a sense of entitlement. I only came here for a few items. read more

A nice location. I'm new to the broward area so I almost passed it. Surprisingly this location didn't have lines to the aisles and the workers were actually pleasant. I came in looking for a wall mount for my tv and required some assistance. The people in the entertainment department were very helpful and knowledgeable of the products and assisted me in selecting the right mount. ***This review is only for the customer service area*** I needed to return an item to Walmart and fortunately you can return them to any location. I was in the area and stopped here to complete the transaction. It's always kind of scary going to Walmart because you really don't know what the heck you're about to get into. I looked around and found the customer service department. It was the area with the long line. I got in line and waited. Fortunately the line moved with some relative quickness. And eventually it was my turn. I gave my item to the associate who asked a few questions and then refunded me the amount. Since I had my receipt and my credit card, I didn't need an ID, only needed to provide her with the card I paid with so the transaction could be completed. We have let people get away with things for way too long. This has to stop!! So on Tuesday evening, my husband was in the Walmart on 441 and Oakland Park Blvd with a friend of his. My husband and his fiend are black males, one with a beard, and the other with very long locks. The plan was for him to kill time at Walmart, purchase some deodorant, drop the friend to his house and then meet me at home. So the two of them were just walking around walmart probably close to an hour, talking and walking. Then a manager approached them telling them that they need to leave the store because they had spent too much time in the store without purchasing anything. How many times have you gone to Walmart and have just walked around to kill time? My husband and I have done this plenty of times. And when we are traveling on the road sometimes we will make a pit stop just stretch our legs and use the bathroom if a Walmart is near us. So my husband asks the manager to see the the store policy that limits customers to an alloted time to shop. Of course he couldn't show him that, but continued to kick them out of the store. Worst store ever. Lines always long, only 2-3 registers open. I only needed a phone case and screen protector, which were below $20 and locked behind a glass. I Asked for a manager and he just stated the manager can't help with getting phone accessories because only electronic associate has access to keys and once up for the night he can't get it. None of that makes any sense. He stated he was the only manager in the store, he was rude and had an attitude. I asked an associate what's the manager on duty name and she stated Bradley. Went into the store to purchase of couple of items for my home. This went smoothly because I was able to get a book shelf and a side table. I ordered a bed frame online and this was the worst thing I could have done. Probably not the best bed frame I've ordered.. my box didn't come with an instruction manual and I had a handy man set the bed up for me .. all the screws were tight and sturdy but somehow the bed keeps breaking down. The three stands to hold the bed off the ground completely broke off. My partner and I are not over 200 pounds. Im disappointed because I only had this set for one month. I went to Wal-Mart to buy some last minute items for my trip out of the country. They had a 12 pack of anti-diarrheal medication for $0.88 (you never know what will happen to your digestive system when you're out of the country)! I bought a 60 count bottle of Equate (Wal-Mart brand) antacids for $1.98 . So, I was going there to buy items like that but you can never walk into Wal-Mart without looking around and getting other great deals.  For example, Op pink and black, thong sandals with memory foam sell for between $12.50 - $14.77 on eBay.  They are only $9.88 at Wal-Mart. A cute nightgown with comic bookish sayings on them was $5.84. Cute, black flats were $5.87. I can't find my black, Coach cross body purse with the long strap. I use it when I travel to guard against pick pockets when I go abroad. So I bought a green cross body with three pockets for $9.97. It's not Coach but it will do! I bought a few more things as well. The store was organized and everything was easy to find. There were employees everywhere which is good. I didn't have to wait in line long either but that might have been because of going mid afternoon. I'm only giving 4 stars because the two employees that I asked for assistance seemed annoyed that I interrupted their conversation with my questions. read more

I don't know if all of these reviews are old or if they are talking about the Walmart on Broward Blvd. THAT is the ghetto Walmart where I've gotten accustomed to flipping a dollar bill to the homeless or junkie that takes me cart to the car and helps unload it, and get this people....... I hate this walmart. It's commonly known as the "ghetto walmart" for a reason. The people who shop here just leave shopping carts all over the parking lot. The employees either can't keep up or just choose not to. It's overcrowded and they never have enough registers open. I've gotten stuck waiting in line for half an hour every time without fail, even in the ten items or less line. It turns out that the people with food stamps go there to buy five candy bars, one at a time so that they can get cash back on each transaction. (They're obviously not using their food stamps for food. I'm not trying to make a political statement here.) They stock the entire isle way leading up to the register with some completely random food, like potatoes. As if to say, "whoops, forgot where the potatoes go. Might as well throw them here for absolutely no sensible reason. I went the this Wal-Mart location to do a return, they had the worst customer service that I've ever experienced.. They weren't helpful at all, they had horrible attitudes towards me and other customers. While they had a line of customers waiting the two workers were playing around flirting with the security guards, which went on for several minutes. There was another customer in front of me needing help in the baby department, she was wanting a new car seat but nobody was willing to help her, she said the workers on the floor just looked at her like she was crazy asking for help.
