I love walmart they have amazing clothes, and cute nails. there's a variety of things you can get!

the management sucks and the drama is ridiculous when you first start working there you have to defend your self right away with the drama and if you don't you get treated like crap from everyone its more gossiping then actual work. also if there is still work that needs done all of the workers will leave and you will be stuck there until it's done and then if not the morning shift will complain if not completed. And then you will get yelled at for not doing your job. the pay is okay but honestly its not worth the hassle. also the store manager is racist . Honestly this place is so gross. Every time I go there there's something on the floor or a something sticky from the floors getting on my shoes. And the staff are give or take some are nice some just treat you like shit! I've made it a point to tell the other staff who was amazing that day or even write it down since most of them wear the name tags. This is one of the better Walmarts out there. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have people working in the store and at the check out lines. I think it's because this is the main store in the area. The people are all pretty friendly and the entire store seems community oriented. Not bad. Not bad at all. read more

What do you say? It's Walmart. We all have been there. I really hate shopping there. You know why? That uncomfortable moment. You know, the one that you fear the whole drive there. Seeing someone you know that you really didn't want to talk to or see. Or, worse yet, seeing someone you recognize but can't remember their name. They know you, but you don't know them. This happens to me every time I go there. One of those situations. That sums up Walmart for me. Well, that and the desire to not support a mom and pop destroying supergiant. But sometimes, in a small town, you have no other choice short of wasting gas driving 45 minutes to an hour away. So, anyway, this Walmart is one I use to work at. The floor people are great. They keep the store clean. The stock people keep the shelves "zoned" properly (how's that for Walmart lingo, Walmart workers holla!!!). So, power to the workers here. You guys do a great job on the floor. The cashiers, management, and all points above are a different story. Depending on the shift or time of day, the cashiers can be spotty. Some are downright rude. Others are completely inept. This is the majority of them. There are a few that are just absolutely great. I truly appreciate them. I would tip them if I could. Management doesn't really seem to respond to gripes from customers. They don't respond to any number of things like they always should. There are a few members of management that seem to carry the heavy loads and are great. These are the ones that have been there a while. The younger ones really seem to care about anything. This leaves a burden on already overtaxed department managers. Department managers seem really great. Especially on the grocery side as they actually work on their areas. Stocking and building displays. You don't always see this in Walmart. These cats really care about their store. Now the type of stock. This Walmart is often backwards on stock. They really need improvement on electronics and a few other areas. Automotive is weak. Housewares seems to take up about half the store which is excessive. They need to clearance things out much quicker. They need to stay more up on the latest and greatest electronics. They are not very with it in this regard. Especially with peripherals for PCs, tablets, phones, and tvs. Their selection of dvd and bluray players is horrible. The online store is kicking their butts in this. So anyway, I am not crazy about the place. But it sometimes has to do in a pinch. read more

I have decided not to shop here unless I absolutely have too! Their new packaging looks like 1970's welfare food and the quality of the Great Value Brand is non existent and their meat is tasteless. The management is just plain rude. They are always out of stock on everyday items I try to pick up so, I still have to stop at Giant. There is one cashier I always try to go to, Kim. She is always cheerful and has a great sense of humor. She actually says hello and means it. The deli girls are usually good along with the eye department and pharmacy. But all in all, I have had it, for groceries, my $250 a week is going to Giant or Weis. read more

It's a Walmart, I mean come on... That being said, it has a much poorer selection than other Walmarts within driving distance. Very limited and very hard to find what you want. They seem to think the locals are dumb with no taste. I spend more in Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg and State College's Walmarts than I do here. The selection is much much better in the others. However they do have excellent service in their site to store section. I give them credit for that. Otherwise, you might really want to take the drive elsewhere and catch some other shops. read more
