It's a WalMart, just like any other joint there is out there. They have a lot of stuff, the departments are clearly identifiable, and their prices can be quite decent depending on what you're looking for. I've been in enough WalMarts to know I can come here for decent quality products at a decent enough price. If you're lucky enough to have a Super Walmart, the hot food departments are always nice, they have some great food to takeaway at great prices. read more

Came back twice because the first time I forgot they don't take Apple Pay. Something about Walmart customers makes me anxious. The warm food fixture was empty and dirty. I wouldn't want to come here again, I rather take the short drive to Target instead. read more

Everytime we put a online order in at least 40 % is unavailable. So making a recipe is impossible. Making a sandwich without bread is impossible. We now are doing most of our shopping at Giant Eagle even with higher prices. read more

Courtesy and more considerate employees. The man in the dairy department was very rude to me. He was blocking access to eggs and I said "excuse me". He heard me but failed to acknowledge me standing there. When he realized I wasn't going to move on, he grumbled something and took the cart away. As he walked away, I told him he was rude. He denied it and wished me a good day. HE KNEW what I was talking about. Walmart in Lorain, OH is the worst place to shop. read more

So we all know Walmart is just what it is. This one however is probably THE worst one I've ever been to. I decided to go in and do my grocery shopping because when I did the online ordering, moat of my items were "unavailable". I go in and it seems not super busy. Fantastic! So I do my shopping and then I find out where all the people are. They are in line! The self-checkouts on one side was down in the produce. The other one was past the pharmacy. The 3 (yes 3) regular lines were back I to the clothes and down and wrapped around in the aisles! There were so many abandoned carts where shoppers just gave up. I found the shortest long line and got in that. The closer I got to the register (took all of 30 minutes), I could see that the cashier was moving very slowly. Now, by all means, I'm not saying she needed to rush but it's a slow like "I hate this job". Sweetie, I 100% understand. The slowness wasn't issue. Poor management is. As I was shopping, there were groups of employees just standing around talking. Like 4-5 people I'm a group just talking. People on their phones "stocking". It was crazy. I get it, it's hard out here right now especially while we are in the Pananrama (yes, I know it has a real name) but it was nuts. So now I have to decide if I want to drive down to the one in Elyria or to Avon. This one definitely needs some management revamp or something because there is no reason 75% of the shoppers were waiting in the lines. read more

The Walmart staff who work in grocery pickup area are super nice. The are always friendly and smiling. I've been there when they are swamped and they still have good attitudes. Discovering Walmart pickup was the best thing to come out of corona virus! read more

Handicap parking is horrible not enough parking! Wheelchair are horrible always breaking down battery run low very quickly! Need to upgrade more wheelchair up to 20 wheelchairs! They need to provide more handicap space plus more wheelchairs! read more

It is closest to me (2.5 miles) and I will go to Oberlin (15 miles) or ANYWHERE else. Accidentally selected this location for a delivery. Never got the order- but records show it was picked up by a driver. I stopped going here 4 years ago! This recent flub validated my decision. Terrible. read more

They deserve zero stars. Automotive center has posted hours but good luck if the employees decide to come to work on time or come to work at all. The store looks clean and they changed the layout but they really should just make the entire store self serve since most or the employees are either not there or there in body but really on a different planet mentally. Your plants are dead/dying in your garden center because they dont get watered. The store is always trashy. And no... i will NOT show your door greeter my receipt. Once I pay for something it is mine and i can choose what i want to do with it. If you think I am stealing, either review your camera footage of me going through your store, watch the camera of me paying at your self check out, or see if your buzzer goes off. Or a better idea, if you don't trust people to ring themselves out, open up 8 more of your ten registers. read more

This Walmart is one of the worst. Unfortunately, it is the closest. As stated below... ghetto appearance, mostly crowded with pallets in walkways. Many people I know will drive a further distance to avoid this one. Need to call for assistance? You better have time to wait. If a cashier makes a mistake in ringing you out? Be prepared for a hassle. Gonna have to drive back and hopefully, get there at a good time. read more

Hands down the worst tire center I have ever experienced. I went there just to get my tire refilled, nothing more, and left with a broken lug nut key. I didn't even need them messing with the lug nuts but they didn't quite get what I meant by "fill up the tires" A week later, while I'm searching for a new lug nut key, I blow the exact tire they broke the original in. Because of them messing with stuff that didn't need to be messed with I now have to shell out almost $100 for a tow truck, $115-$150 for a new tire, and who know how much just to get the tire off in the first place. Thank you Walmart for hiring incompetent workers! read more

This walmart is so ghetto that not only are the shaving razors locked up, you aren't allowed to touch them. You have to track down an employee to open the case.The store employee must walk them to a register for you. So when you check out u have to tell the cashier what register they were taken to so they can go get them. Nothing like making people wait some more. I hate Lorain. read more

So I ordered groceries that were supposed to arrive last night between 9-10, and unfortunately they got delayed. It happens. I thought they'd be delivered some time this morning, but the app still says they're delayed. I've called Walmart several times this morning to try to see what time they expect to deliver the groceries. I'm going out of town the next couple of days and need to tell my brothers what time to expect to bring groceries in, but whike I was on the phone, I was transferred several times to online order with no answer (about 7 times I was transferred) and I was interrupted and hardly allowed to speak by those who transferred me. I am really upset. read more

Walmart is cheap on some stuff (other stuff is same or more as anywhere else), but they don't pay their employees or give them healthcare. So in the end, the taxpayer picks up the slack and Walmart in reality is more of a drain on my paycheck. Tax breaks galore. Boycott Walmart until they pay their employees healthcare. I think prices would go up a penny. No I am not an employee, nor do I even KNOW an employee. read more

The lines were quick and the appearance was clean and organized. There was a Redbox hidden in a corner at the entrance. Odd placement for one. A Subway was inside as well, like other Walmart's. The cashier was extremely friendly and social. Great service. read more

Ok, the Walmart here is not crowded. I went in for a replacement phone cord and some sweets an pop and it only took me 20 minutes. I think that was a record for Walmart. Same layouts as what we have in American Canyon, and great staff. Thanks Casandra for your great smile and assistance. read more

Auto center. Traveling across the country, tired, hungry, on a tight schedule, needed oil changes on 2 vehicles. The auto department guy checked in the vehicles and told us of a few close options for food. When we returned he was done with one and soon enough the other was done. These Walmart people get their share of rude, demanding or otherwise unpleasant customers. They treat them well. I was just spending a few dollars, about $40, but was treated like a valued customer. [ I bought applebees gift cards and gave them to friends. when they tried to use them at applebees they were refused because the cards were not active. I no longer have the receipt, but store says that doesn't matter, they are not allowed by applebees to accept returns. applebees did not help, i was told to call walmart national service line. they did not help either, they gave ma a bogus ph number for merchants relations. i have tried to reach a manager at walmart to get an explanation of their in policy, i am on hold 15 minutes. do not buy gift cards here-they will take your money but are not selling legitimate gift cards i recommend you buy gift cards direct from the retailer. mark read more

The lines at this Walmart are always ridiculous. The neighborhood is poor, so they have a lot of people using their Ohio Food Stamp Cards to fill 2 grocery carts with food. God forbid you go there the first of the month! . This Walmart has more screaming, unruly children than any I have ever seen. The shelves are bare half the time. Looks like they need to hire some stock people. I was excited to get this Walmart close to where I live, but like I said I avoid it if I can. I would rather drive to the Oberlin one. I would also like to add that most of their cashiers are not very friendly , which I wouldn't be either if I had to put up with those customers. read more

Horrible service, I was shopping there and this old woman "manager" who also happend to be a cashier was so rude to me. She basically told me that if I come back she will refuse me service and that if she seen me again she would call the cops and have me escorted off the property. This all happend because I was attempting to purchase alcohol and my good friend who was next to me in line with a seperate order at the time didnt have his ID because I guess they check your entire party for IDs now if YOU want to buy alcohol and because I happend to know him and he happend to be near me, he was automatically with me. My friend isnt a minor nor does he even look like one but, that shouldnt even matter since he wasnt buying the alcohol, we met up in the store, and he wasnt going to be drinking it with me. The cashier was a younger girl that had an attitude problem from the start and seemed to get some joy out of the fact that my friend didnt have his ID with him. I asked if I could please speak to a manager and she pointed to an older woman working the line next to the one I was in and told me that she was the manager. So I kindly explained what was going on and told her that my friend and I were not even together at the store, so it shouldnt matter if he doesnt have an ID because he isnt buying alcohol and that's when the crazy started. She automatically started scowling at me and basically told me to get out and the above^. So I left and went to the kmart the down the street that had no problem selling me alcohol. read more
